It’s Time to Select Your 2026 GNG Keeper

The 2026 GNG Keeper League season is getting closer, which means it is time for every owner to make one of the most important decisions of the year:

Who are you dragging into battle with you?

Keeper selection is now open on Sleeper. Every owner needs to select their 2026 keeper as soon as possible so we can lock in rosters, prepare the draft board, and begin the annual process of convincing ourselves we know what we are doing.

This year is a little different because the league has moved from CBS to Sleeper. That move gives us a better platform going forward, but it also means the old CBS rosters did not automatically appear inside Sleeper like magic. The 2026 Sleeper rosters are empty unless the commissioner was told who your keeper is, verified that player was on your 2025 CBS roster, and manually added that player to your 2026 Sleeper team.

So here is the important part:

If you log into Sleeper and do not see any players available to choose from, that does not mean Sleeper is broken. It means you have not told me who your keeper is yet, so your player has not been verified and added to your roster.

No player on your Sleeper roster means no keeper option to select.

How to Select Your Keeper in Sleeper

Once your keeper has been added to your Sleeper roster, selecting him should be simple.

In the Sleeper app or web app, go to the GNG Keeper League homepage. Look for the keeper selection option. Sleeper should show your available rostered players, and you can select your keeper from that list.

After you make your selection, double-check it. Do not assume. Do not trust vibes. Do not leave it to fate, Wi-Fi, or a Tuesday morning text message.

If you need to change your keeper before the draft begins, Sleeper should allow changes until the draft starts. But do not use that as an excuse to wait until the last second. That is how chaos gets invited into the room, and chaos already has a permanent chair in this league.

If You Have No Players Listed

Send your keeper choice to the commissioner by leaving a comment below.

That player will need to be checked against your 2025 CBS roster. Once verified, he can be manually added to your 2026 Sleeper roster. After that, you should be able to go into Sleeper and officially select him as your keeper.

This is not optional housekeeping. This is the bridge between the old CBS era and the new Sleeper era. If you want your keeper properly locked in, the player has to exist on your Sleeper roster first.

The draft is coming. The excuses are already forming. The keeper decisions need to get done.
