This is the first public release of a project developed over the past several months by Sputnik Digital Graphics. It combines advanced football analytics, intelligent cloud database technology, and current AI models including Claude Fable 5 and GPT-5.6.
The goal is ambitious: build a fantasy ranking system that studies players the way serious football data analysts do, then turns that information into practical draft guidance.
No reputation rankings. No copying last year’s finish and moving everyone up or down a few slots. No ranking a player because the name still feels expensive.
Pigskin AI is built around role, opportunity, efficiency, and the evidence available right now.
What Pigskin AI Actually Measures
Different positions produce fantasy points in different ways. Treating every player with one generic formula would be lazy, so Pigskin uses position-specific models.
For running backs, workload and scoring opportunity carry serious weight. The system examines touches, target share, red-zone work, touchdown rates, and efficiency per opportunity.
Wide receivers and tight ends are judged through the passing-game roles they actually own. Target share matters. So do routes, weighted opportunity rating, yards per route run, targets per route, red-zone involvement, and the quality of the opportunities being earned.
Quarterbacks require their own formula. Passing production matters, but so does rushing involvement, efficiency, turnover risk, and the structure of the offense around them.
The system also applies a current-roster safety layer. Age, availability, injury status, team changes, and depth-chart position can alter a projection before the season ever begins.
That last part is important.
A perfect formula built on stale information is still wrong.
Rankings That Change When Football Changes
Pigskin AI rankings will be updated daily as new information arrives.
An injury can change an entire backfield. A depth-chart promotion can turn a late-round afterthought into a real fantasy asset. Training-camp usage may expose a supposed breakout as wishful thinking. Trades, roster cuts, and coaching decisions all affect the number of useful touches a player is likely to receive.
The rankings are designed to react.
As the 2026 season progresses, Pigskin AI will continue learning from changing roles and fresh performance data. The system is not being released as a finished stone tablet carried down from the fantasy mountain. It is an active model that will be tested, refined, and forced to answer for its mistakes.
That is how it gets better.
Multiple Boards for Different Leagues
Fantasy value changes with scoring.
A running back may carry one value in Standard scoring and another in PPR. A receiver who lives on volume looks different when receptions stop earning a full point. The custom GNG Keeper scoring system introduces its own positional values.

Users can view overall rankings or narrow the board by quarterback, running back, wide receiver, or tight end. Each ranked player includes a model score, a projected points-per-game figure, and an AI verdict explaining the evidence behind the placement.
The top portion of the rankings is open to everyone. A free GNG website account provides access to the full boards and every available scoring profile.
Pigskin Is Getting a Voice
The ranking engine is only part of the project.
Pigskin AI is also being developed as the artificial-intelligence co-host of AI vs Meatbags, an upcoming fantasy football YouTube show featuring GNG coaches Erran Yearty, Zachary Jester, and Patrick Jolle.
The premise is simple: experienced fantasy managers put their instincts, opinions, and bad habits against an AI that has access to the numbers and no reason to protect anyone’s feelings.
Pigskin will help analyze players, challenge human assumptions, review predictions, and eventually answer the most important question in fantasy football:

Calling Pigskin AI another rankings list misses the point.
This is the foundation of a larger fantasy football intelligence system. The rankings available today represent the opening release, not the end of development. More data, testing, and in-season results will shape what comes next.
The standard is simple. Pigskin AI must earn trust by making useful predictions and explaining why it made them.
Fantasy managers should never follow any ranking blindly. Use the board. Read the verdicts. Compare the evidence against your own assumptions.
