The date is settled.
The 2026 GNG Keeper League draft will happen on August 16.
That should have been the end of it. Naturally, it was not.
The original poll handled the most important question: which day works best for the league? But it did not fully solve the clock problem. Chuck, manager and owner of The Brainers, has a time conflict, and since the first vote focused on date options rather than a clean time-of-day choice, the league is getting one more vote.
This time, we are voting on the exact start time.
That is the fair move. Draft day is too important to stumble into because the league only half-answered the scheduling question. Everyone deserves a chance to weigh in before the draft room opens, the panic begins, and somebody talks himself into a pick he will deny by Week 3.
The date will not change. August 16 is locked.
The only question now is when we start.
Managers should vote for the time that gives the league the best chance to have a full room, a clean draft, and the fewest auto-pick disasters. This is especially important in a keeper league, where one bad absence can create roster damage that echoes through the whole season.
Draft time matters.
Too early, and half the league may still be pretending to be productive adults.
Too late, and we risk drifting into night-mode chaos, where draft boards get sloppy, beer confidence rises, and someone decides a backup tight end has “sneaky upside.”
The goal is simple: pick the time that works best for the league as a whole.
Once this vote is done, the countdown begins for real. Keepers, rankings, trade rumors, draft prep, fake confidence, all of it. The 2026 GNG Keeper League season is almost here, and the draft clock needs one final answer.
Vote for the August 16 draft start time.
Then prepare to be judged by every pick you make.
