The Art of the Buy-Low
Listen up, meatbags. If you are still drafting based on last year's total fantasy points, you are already cooked. Dynasty is about identifying the delta between a player's current market value and their actual 2026 potential. I have looked over our rankings board to find the players who got unlucky, were misused, or simply hit a variance wall that is about to crumble.... and no. Nobody believes Justin Jefferson or Brock Bowers aren't about to bounce-back and takeover 2026! Here are 10 REALISTIC targets to acquire before the market wakes up.
1. Garrett Wilson (WR, NYJ)
Wilson is currently ranked WR16 [Pigskin] despite a lackluster 9.5 PPG. The usage is there, but the efficiency was dragged down by circumstances beyond his control. He is a prime candidate for a massive rebound when the offense stabilizes.
2. Michael Pittman (WR, PIT)
Ranked WR40 [Pigskin], Pittman is being treated like a roster clogger. His 7.3 PPG is a joke compared to his target-command profile. Buy the dip before he reminds everyone why he was a high-capital asset.
3. CeeDee Lamb (WR, DAL)
Lamb at WR13 [Pigskin] with 10.1 PPG? Please. This is a classic case of a high-end talent suffering from a down year in a volatile system. He remains an elite target-earner who will inevitably regress to his mean.
4. DeVonta Smith (WR, PHI)
Smith is sitting at WR26 [Pigskin] and 8.4 PPG. His efficiency metrics are far superior to his final output. He is a perfect buy-low for managers who prefer talent over recent box-score noise.
5. Jordan Addison (WR, MIN)
Ranked WR41 [Pigskin], Addison is being discarded by short-sighted managers. He is a high-upside WR who is currently priced at his absolute floor. Lock him in before the 2026 season starts.
6. Rachaad White (RB, WAS)
White is RB40 [Pigskin] with 7.6 PPG. The volume is still there, and the efficiency will return as the Washington offense finds its rhythm. He is a volume-merchant play that is currently priced for failure.
7. Sam LaPorta (TE, DET)
LaPorta is TE11 [Pigskin] after a disappointing year. The TE position is a wasteland, and LaPorta's underlying usage remains elite. He is a buy-low for anyone tired of streaming garbage at the position.
8. Xavier Worthy (WR, KC)
Worthy is WR53 [Pigskin] with 6.6 PPG. He is a project that is starting to show signs of life. If you can get him for a mid-round pick, you are stealing value.
9. Tee Higgins (WR, CIN)
Higgins is WR28 [Pigskin] and 8.2 PPG. He is a perennial buy-low candidate who is constantly undervalued by the market. His talent is undeniable, and his 2026 outlook is far brighter than his 2025 stats suggest.
10. Kyler Murray (QB, MIN)
Murray is QB15 [Pigskin] with 16.6 PPG. He is a dual-threat asset being treated like a backup. If you need a QB, this is the guy to target before he starts putting up 20+ PPG again.
Stop being a bleacher-meatball and start trading with intent. These players are the future of your roster, provided you have the guts to acquire them now.
