Season Summary
The 2018 season reads like one complete chapter in the CBS era. It ended with Big Tex's Pillow Biters holding the title for Billy Hayes. The regular season was set by Black Micahs, which went 9-5 with 994.0 points for in a 10-team field.
The division map mattered. GNG does not treat the standings as a simple top-six sprint: the East Side and West Side each send their own top three, so a manager has to survive his side of the league before worrying about the full table. DenBro led West Side at 9-5, with SkinFan sitting on the cut line; The Brainers led East Side at 10-4, with Alcoholnics sitting on the cut line.
The weekly results give the year its pulse. The Brainers was the scoring heavyweight at 1,047.0 points for, a reminder that raw power and the final standings do not always tell the same story. Across 75 scored games over 17 weeks, the biggest combined score was Week 12, DenBro vs Pinko Commie Bastards at 191.0 combined points (108.0-83.0). The closest finish was Week 10, SkinFan over Pinko Commie Bastards, 69.0-67.0 by 2.0. The widest gap was Week 4, Alcoholnics over Zombie Werewolves, 100.0-38.0 by 62.0. The playoffs added 5 bracket games across 3 rounds, ending with Big Tex's Pillow Biters over Black Micahs in the final, with 75 game recaps adding color, led by "Saint Marches In".
Draft night left a trail of 150 picks across 10 teams and 15 rounds. 4 marked selections hint at the keeper pressure around roster building. 0 confirmed keepers and 4 still-debated keeper candidates shaped the roster memory for the year. Those roster choices are where the season starts to feel personal: the held-over stars, the missed bets, and the managers who had to live with both.
The CBS Year in Review added another angle: When it is all said and done, Coach William Hayes will have the bragging rights for this entire offseason. Big Tex's Pillow Biters finished off 2018 with a 77 to 71 victory over Black Micahs, giving them an 11 - 5 final record. Their good standing can be attributed, in part, to their running backs, who ranked 2nd in the league. Its feature image framed the year as "Saquon Barkley and Big Tex's Pillow Biters take the crown."
The message board gives the season its voice. The busiest thread was "SuperBowl Pay Out" from Big Tex's Pillow Biters - Billy Hayes, drawing 1 comments. The recurring pressure points were money and payout logistics. Other season markers include "League Fees", "Great Win", and "League Dues".
Taken together, the title race, the week-to-week swings, the roster choices, and the board chatter turn the season into more than a list of standings. It is a memory map for the managers who lived through it.

The Toddfather
Coach Don Zimmerman has put together the best group of running backs, and they showed their mettle again this week. DenBro ran their way to a 60 to 35 win over SkinFan. Todd Gurley scored 17 points, while Christian McCaffrey scored 12. McCaffrey gained more than 100 yards from scrimmage yet again but it was the first passing attempt of his career, a 4th and 2, 50-yard touchdown pass, that brought the house down Monday night.
SkinFan are bound to have a hard time winning when Drew Brees has a bad week, and that's just what happened. SkinFan had many underperformers, but Brees stood out, putting up only 2 points.1 He fell farther short of his expected points than any other player this week.
Phillip Lindsay falling 6.6 points short of his expectations didn't help matters much either. Lindsay's performance this week broke his four game streak of surpassing the league average.
With the win, DenBro have now won three out of their last four games, bringing their record to 10 - 5. SkinFan will finish their season at 7 - 8.

Don't Test Me
Damien Williams drops 17 points in leading Black Micahs to victory
Coach Micah Russell picked the right time to add Damien Williams to the squad. Black Micahs got past Alcoholnics, winning 55 to 51 behind 17 points from Williams. He has now overperformed the experts' predictions in three straight games. He picked up the slack for the depleted Kansas City running back corps by hammering home two touchdowns from inside the two-yard line, including this one from about the two-inch line.
Adam Thielen and Ian Thomas both could have just stayed home this week. They both scored no points for Alcoholnics. Unfortunately, more bad performances might be on tap for Thielen, who has seen his point total drop in each of the last three weeks. He relinquished his title as a Fantasy God weeks ago, but his two catches and 19 yards were both season lows for the receiver.
The win takes Black Micahs to 10 - 5, and sends them to the top of our internal power rankings. With the loss, Alcoholnics will close the season at 7 - 8.
Week 16 · Dec 25, 2018 05:06 pm ET
Who Needs Em?
Entering the game, Big Tex's Pillow Biters had scored more points in the last three weeks than any other team, and they kept that momentum going. Coach William Hayes' squad wound up with a solid victory margin against DenBro, winning 81 to 71. Big Tex's Pillow Biters got some retribution on DenBro for their game in week nine, when Big Tex's Pillow Biters were defeated 72 to 65.
The loss brings the season to an end for DenBro, who finishes at 10 - 6. The win brings Big Tex's Pillow Biters to 10 - 5.
Robert Woods and Chris Carson were the prime movers for Big Tex's Pillow Biters, tallying 16 and 17 points, respectively. Carson's 17 points represent the most he's had this year. More good might be coming from Carson, who has improved his performance in each of the last three weeks.
Big Tex's Pillow Biters would have won by a more comfortable margin if Big Tex's Pillow Biters had Doug Baldwin and his 12 points in the starting lineup. Coach Hayes may want to consider putting Baldwin in the starting lineup, after he totaled 27 points in the last two weeks.
Meanwhile, Mike Williams loomed large in the loss for DenBro, posting zero points. Williams has an excuse of sorts, having to go against the Ravens- the 3rd best defense against wide receivers this season.
Deshaun Watson and Zach Ertz, scoring 45 points, did their best to make a game of it for DenBro. Watson contributed a 28 point performance, which topped all but three players this week.1

That's All Folks
The Brainers came into this week's match-up on a seven-game win streak, but Black Micahs put an end to that, winning 77 to 68. The win must seem like deja vu for Black Micahs, who won the last game with The Brainers by a 95 to 46 margin.
With the win, Black Micahs continues their five-game streak of success, and gives them a record of 11 - 5. The loss drops The Brainers' record to 10 - 5.
Patrick Mahomes has been coming through for Black Micahs all year, and this week was no different. Black Micahs got good efforts from almost everyone on the squad, with six players topping their positional averages. Mahomes was the best of the bunch, delivering 23 points. That's all in a day's work for the best player in the league.
David Njoku helped out as well, exceeding his projected point total by 5.2 points. Njoku's performance this week stopped his three game streak of not meeting his projections. Tyreek Hill was the only underperforming player, scoring only 3 points.
Meanwhile, The Brainers suffered through poor performances from Keenan Allen, Ezekiel Elliott, and Travis Kelce, who collectively managed only 9 points. Kelce's performances have closely tracked the fortunes of The Brainers this season, as they have gone 2 - 4 when he fails to meet his expectations, and 7 - 1 when he meets them.
A perfect lineup would have given Coach Chuck Rittenhouse a win in this one. He started two players that the experts thought should be riding the pine. One of those picks, Julian Edelman, worked out. The other pick, Allen, did not.
Overall, these moves cost The Brainers a total of 4 points. If Coach Rittenhouse had kept Edelman in the lineup, left Allen on the bench, and also started the Cowboys Defense/ST, The Brainers would have won the game.
Week 17 · Jan 01, 2019 06:19 pm ET
They Shall Not Pass
Big Tex's Pillow Biters had traditionally struggled against Black Micahs, losing every one of the the 3 games that they've played, but Coach William Hayes put those struggles in the rear view mirror this week. Big Tex's Pillow Biters got the job done against Black Micahs, winning 77 to 71. The win helped Big Tex's Pillow Biters halt Black Micahs' five game winning streak.
The win makes it three in a row for Big Tex's Pillow Biters, bringing their record to 11 - 5. Black Micahs ends their 2018 campaign with a 11 - 6 mark.
The Patriots Defense/ST had been fairly quiet since week eight's performance, but finally awoke from their slumber this week. The Patriots teamed up with Mike Evans to drop 38 points.
In addition to the Patriots and Evans, Big Tex's Pillow Biters had two other good players this week in Matt Ryan and Saquon Barkley. A good performance by Barkley has been critical for Big Tex's Pillow Biters this season, as they have gone 9 - 1 when he exceeds his expectations, and 2 - 3 when he doesn't.
Dak Prescott was kept on Big Tex's Pillow Biters' bench in the victory, but he didn't let that discourage him, as he went off for 29 points. Prescott's performance this week was better than every other bench-rider in the league.
Meanwhile, Black Micahs can place the blame for this loss squarely on the Saints Defense/ST, who scored only 1 point. No other Defense/ST scored fewer points than that this week.
The six overperformers on Coach Micah Russell's squad did their part to balance things out (and then some). Tyreek Hill was the best of them, scoring 18 points. The Cheetah's performance this week ended a four game streak of failing to hit his projections.

Saint Marches In
It wasn't too close for comfort, but it was still pretty close, as SkinFan beat Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum 80 to 73.
Coach Tim Fabrizio used their first pick on Drew Brees, and Brees came through. Although SkinFan got a nice group performance in the win, Brees was the first among equals, delivering 25 points. Another overperformer, kicker Greg Zuerlein, was the best at his position this week.
SkinFan overcame poor performances from LeSean McCoy and Leonard Fournette (3 points combined) in getting this win.
Meanwhile, Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum had many underperformers, but Phil Dawson stood out, dropping zero points. No other kicker scored fewer points than that this week. Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum also had to deal with a poor effort from DeAndre Hopkins (6 points below expected).
Softening the loss a bit, Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum looks like they may have found a real player off the discard pile. Coach Robert Wetzel picked up James Conner off the waiver wire and saw him score 18 points (on the bench, but still).
The schedule for Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum brings Alcoholnics around next week. Both Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum and Alcoholnics were favored to win this week and lost, so maybe they'll each hope to be the underdog next week. Meanwhile, SkinFan will be playing DenBro.

Hidden Talent
Pinko Commie Bastards had to be wary coming into this game after losing both matches against Zombie Werewolves last season. Thankfully for Coach Erran Yearty, the past was not prelude. Pinko Commie Bastards wound up with a solid victory against Zombie Werewolves, winning 67 to 54. No big surprise seeing Pinko Commie Bastards get the win, as they were the biggest favorite of any team this week.
Pinko Commie Bastards won with a balanced effort, as five players outperformed their positional averages. Tom Brady was the best of the bunch, producing 18 points. Pinko Commie Bastards would have won by a more comfortable margin if Coach Yearty had put Philip Rivers (23 points) in the lineup. Rivers did better than any player actually in Pinko Commie Bastards' starting lineup this week.
Meanwhile, Zombie Werewolves were having trouble reaching paydirt, getting into the end zone only one time. That was the lowest TDs total of any team this week. Zombie Werewolves suffered from four zeros in that category, one of which came from Derrick Henry, who wasn't better in other stat categories.
These teams will see a difference in the quality of their upcoming opponents. Next week, Pinko Commie Bastards will take on the 1 - 0 Black Micahs. Black Micahs might present a challenge, having posted the highest score this week.
Meanwhile, Zombie Werewolves will take on The Brainers, who were the lowest scoring team this week. Both Zombie Werewolves and Pinko Commie Bastards were projected to have sub-par squads this season, and didn't do much to prove those projections wrong.
Week 1 · Sep 11, 2018 11:56 am ET
Draft Dividends
Scoring the fewest points in the league for the week is bad strategy. Just ask Coach Chuck Rittenhouse. The Brainers got beat by Big Tex's Pillow Biters, 58 to 49.
Coach William Hayes used early draft picks on Mike Evans and Saquon Barkley, and they came through for him this week. Evans scored 14 points, and Barkley was close behind with 13. Barkley showed Giants fans everything they wanted to see on this beautiful 68 yard TD run.
Big Tex's Pillow Biters also got a big effort from Jordan Reed (4.8 points above expected). It was, unfortunately, a costly win for Big Tex's Pillow Biters. Doug Baldwin suffered a partial MCL tear to what was considered his healthy knee heading into the season, and the Seahawks don't know how many weeks he'll miss.
Meanwhile, Ben Roethlisberger stuck out as the worst performer for The Brainers, putting up only 1 point.1 That performance was the worst of any player this week.2 He was joined by four other underperformers, including Jamaal Williams, who scored only 2 points.
On the coaching front, this game showed how futile efforts can sometimes be. Coach Rittenhouse started two players that the experts thought should be riding the pine. One of those picks, the Rams Defense/ST, worked out. The other pick, Brandin Cooks, did not.
Overall, these moves gave The Brainers an extra 12 points . It also made Coach Rittenhouse the best performing gameday coach this week.
Coach Hayes might have gotten the victory, but it wasn't due to his efforts. He started Matt Ryan instead of Tyrod Taylor, despite the experts' prediction that Taylor should have played. This decision cost Big Tex's Pillow Biters a total of 12 points, which--thankfully for Coach Hayes--didn't matter much this game.
The Brainers will be going against Zombie Werewolves next week. Meanwhile, Big Tex's Pillow Biters will take on Homesick Abortions.
Week 1 · Sep 11, 2018 11:56 am ET
No Dice
Last year's playoff loss at the hands of Alcoholnics might still be ringing in Coach Micah Russell's ears, but they got some measure of revenge this week. Black Micahs strolled past Alcoholnics, winning 90 to 73. The 90 points Black Micahs scored set the high mark for the league this week.
Black Micahs, who were the underdog in this matchup, had a so-so start during the early Sunday games. They had three slightly underperforming players, with Kenyan Drake (2 points) being the worst.
Meanwhile, Alcoholnics were recreating their own personal 'greatest show on turf'. Alvin Kamara led the charge, scoring 26 points. Kamara continued to establish himself as the best receiving back in the game- going off for 112 receiving yards and a TD.
Alcoholnics also got a solid effort from Carlos Hyde (6.2 points above expected).
Going into Monday night's game, Alcoholnics were already a long shot to win. After Matthew Stafford dropped only 2 points, the game was over.
It will be a tournament-style upcoming schedule for these teams next week. The winner, Black Micahs, will take on Pinko Commie Bastards, who beat Zombie Werewolves this week. Meanwhile, Alcoholnics will take on a fellow loser in Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum, who lost to SkinFan this week.
Week 1 · Sep 11, 2018 11:56 am ET
Follow the Leader
In the only close game this week, Homesick Abortions just barely got past DenBro, winning 56 to 53. Homesick Abortions won despite having the 4th lowest scoring total in the league this week.
Three players (Rob Gronkowski, Antonio Brown, and the Jaguars Defense/ST) delivered victory to Homesick Abortions, getting 33 of their team's 56 points. Gronk scored 10 points, which topped all but one tight end this week. He really doesn't need any help, but the refs might have given him some anyway on this big first half reception.
Given their low point total, it's not surprising that Homesick Abortions had several underperformers (five to be exact). Devonta Freeman was the worst of them, scoring only 1 point.1 Freeman's performance wasn't exactly what Coach Chris Crowder was looking for when he drafted Freeman in the first round.
Coach Don Zimmerman were either going to look brilliant or foolish after drafting Deshaun Watson in the 1st round, and after this week's action, things aren't looking so good. Watson was one of three big underperformers, combining with Pierre Garcon and Christian McCaffrey to rack up 9 points. Watson did the worst of any player drafted in the first round.2
Next week will see Homesick Abortions taking on the 1 - 0 Big Tex's Pillow Biters. As for DenBro, they will match up with SkinFan.
Week 2 · Sep 18, 2018 12:01 pm ET
Better Lucky than Good
Big Tex's Pillow Biters were able to grind out a solid victory this week against Homesick Abortions, winning by a score of 50 to 39. Big time luck for Big Tex's Pillow Biters in this contest, as they would have lost against all but one other team. The win brings Big Tex's Pillow Biters' record to 2 - 0, while dropping Homesick Abortions to 1 - 1.
Big Tex's Pillow Biters had three players lead the way, with Kareem Hunt, Mike Evans, and the Jets Defense/ST notching 27 points. There were five underperformers keeping Big Tex's Pillow Biters from a proper victory, with Tyrod Taylor (8 points) being the worst of them.1 Taylor's 8 points were fewer than every other quarterback this week.
Meanwhile, Coach Chris Crowder will find no easy scapegoat for this week's loss. Homesick Abortions were brought down by seven underperformers, the worst of whom was the Panthers Defense/ST (2 points).2 Rob Gronkowski has to share in some of the blame as well, coming up with 6.6 fewer points than he was expected to. Jags free safety Tashaun Gipson took up the challenge of guarding Gronk and did about as well as anyone ever has- limiting him to just two short catches.
Homesick Abortions did get some solace this week in the form of Cam Newton, who came up with 22 points. Newton managed to shake off this late, helmet-to-helmet hit that got Damontae Kazee kicked out of the game.
Although his team won, Coach William Hayes didn't have the best game personally. Perhaps scared off by Matt Ryan's 3 point performance last week, Coach Hayes left him on the bench in favor of Tyrod Taylor, despite the experts' prediction that Ryan should have played.
This decision shaved 17 points from Big Tex's Pillow Biters' score, which ultimately didn't make a difference in the final outcome. It did make it back-to-back weeks now where he has cost his team points.
Next week, Big Tex's Pillow Biters will be playing DenBro. Don't look for many shrewd coaching decisions, as the game will feature the worst gameday coaches in the league so far. Meanwhile, Homesick Abortions will take on Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum.
Week 2 · Sep 18, 2018 12:01 pm ET
Chief of Staff
It's not that hard to win when you have the league's top performer for the week, and Patrick Mahomes was that player. Mahomes was the key component as Black Micahs made it look easy against Pinko Commie Bastards, winning 81 to 56. All he has done is toss the most touchdowns (10) that any player ever has over the first two games of the season.
Black Micahs won despite bad games from the Patriots Defense/ST and Jake Elliott, who together delivered 7 points.
Meanwhile, this week's loss for Pinko Commie Bastards was a true group effort. Odell Beckham was the worst of a six man group of underperformers, dropping only 2 points.1 Chris Boswell falling 6 points short of his expectations didn't help matters much either.
The win brings Black Micahs' record to 2 - 0, while dropping Pinko Commie Bastards to 1 - 1.
Black Micahs will face off against The Brainers next week. Black Micahs have now been an underdog in both the last two weeks, and won both times. Maybe they'll get a bit more credit going into their next one.
Meanwhile, Pinko Commie Bastards will collide with Alcoholnics next week. Alcoholnics will bring the league's top player so far, Ryan Fitzpatrick, into the game.
Week 2 · Sep 18, 2018 12:01 pm ET
Not Wanted
By a score of 76 to 68, Alcoholnics walked away victorious over Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum. The win evens up Alcoholnics' record at 1 - 1. The loss drops Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum's record to 0 - 2.
When Coach Nick Claeboe entertained thoughts of winning this game, he probably didn't include the two players that ended up leading the way. A.J. Green scored 21 points, while Matthew Stafford scored 19. Green torched the Ravens for three touchdowns within the first 17 minutes of the game.
Alcoholnics got the win despite leaving Ryan Fitzpatrick and his 28 points on the bench. Fitzpatrick's performance this week was better than every other bench-rider in the league.
Meanwhile, while balance might be good for gymnasts, it didn't help Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum this week. Russell Wilson was the 'worst' player, scoring 10, while Michael Thomas was the best on the team with 14.1
Next week, Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum will take on the 1 - 1 Homesick Abortions. Homesick Abortions have scored the fewest points so far this year. As for Alcoholnics, they will match up with Pinko Commie Bastards.
Week 2 · Sep 18, 2018 12:01 pm ET
Easy Street
In a week that featured three blowouts, this was the biggest. The Brainers demolished Zombie Werewolves, winning 89 to 48.
The win brings The Brainers back to even at 1 - 1. The loss drops Zombie Werewolves' record to 0 - 2.
Ben Roethlisberger was probably in Coach Chuck Rittenhouse's doghouse after last week's 1 point 'performance'. He might be let out now. Roethlisberger joined up with Travis Kelce to score 55% of The Brainers' points. Roethlisberger contributed a 32 point performance, which was good for 3rd place among all players this week.1
Wins might be even easier to come by for The Brainers starting next week. Carson Wentz is expected to start the Eagles week 3 game against the Colts.
Meanwhile, Coach Patrick jolle will have a hard time pinning the blame for this loss on any particular player. Zombie Werewolves had six underperformers, with Michael Crabtree (2 points) being the worst. Zombie Werewolves only had one player who gave a passable performance this week, with Evan Engram scoring 9 points.2
Next week will see The Brainers taking on the 2 - 0 Black Micahs. That team will come into next week having gone over 75 points in both of their games. The game will see both of this week's top quarterbacks square off, when Ben Roethlisberger matches up against Patrick Mahomes.
As for Zombie Werewolves, they will square off against SkinFan next week. Both teams come into that game licking their wounds after getting thoroughly knocked around by their opponents.
Week 2 · Sep 18, 2018 12:01 pm ET
No Worries
DenBro sent SkinFan crying home to mommy after a thorough 80 to 54 spanking. The game evens up both teams' records at 1 - 1.
DenBro were led by the tag team of Todd Gurley and Kirk Cousins, who together posted 54 points. Cousins kicked in a 29 point performance, which was the 4th best of any player this week.1 He showed off tremendous arm strength and accuracy with this beautiful deep ball that went for 75 yards and a TD.
Coach Don Zimmerman also helped out their own cause by going against the experts and starting Stephen Gostkowski, who scored 9 points. DenBro managed to rise above the bad efforts from Demaryius Thomas and the Broncos Defense/ST (3 points total). Thomas had 11 targets and five catches, but only managed to turn those into a paltry 18 yards.
Meanwhile, The Ravens Defense/ST was the main culprit in SkinFan's loss, scoring no points.2 The Ravens fell farther short of their expected points than any other player this week. They had plenty of company, with LeSean McCoy (2 points) being the worst of four other underperformers.
DenBro will be going against Big Tex's Pillow Biters next week. Meanwhile, SkinFan will be playing Zombie Werewolves.
Week 3 · Sep 25, 2018 12:16 pm ET
Uh...Maybe Next Time
There were several blowouts this week, but none bigger than this one. Big Tex's Pillow Biters perfectly destroyed DenBro, winning 106 to 56. The 50 point margin that separated these teams represents the biggest blowout of the season so far.
The victory makes it three in a row for Big Tex's Pillow Biters, bringing their record to 3 - 0. The loss drops DenBro's record to 1 - 2.
It's not that hard to win when you get the league's top performance for the season, and Matt Ryan delivered that performance. Matt Ryan was the key contributor for Big Tex's Pillow Biters, notching 37 points. Ryan overperformed his expectations by more than any other player. He saw his Falcons lose despite having a passer rating over 140, something that has happened only to him (and Tony Romo) twice in his career.
Mike Evans helped out as well, exceeding his projected point total by 5.2 points. Evans has now exceeded his points expectations in every game so far this year.
Meanwhile, Kirk Cousins loomed large in the loss for DenBro, posting 4 points.1 That performance was worse than every other player this week.2 He hopefully has some credit left over from last week's 29 point performance.
Coach William Hayes did his part to secure the victory this week. He went with Robert Woods over the higher ranked Amari Cooper.
This decision netted Coach Hayes an extra 17 points, which only added to Big Tex's Pillow Biters' domination. It also earned Coach Hayes 'Coach of the Week' honors, as he gave his squad more extra points than anyone else in the league.
The strength of schedule diverges for these squads next week. The schedule for Big Tex's Pillow Biters brings Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum around. Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum will come into the game looking for their first win.
As for DenBro, they will square off against Black Micahs. Black Micahs have been the highest scoring team so far this year.
Week 3 · Sep 25, 2018 12:16 pm ET
Smooth Sailing
SkinFan came into the game as the biggest favorite this week and proceeded to make the experts look good. They crushed Zombie Werewolves, winning 80 to 56. Blowouts are par for the course for these teams these days, as both of them were in blowouts last week as well.
The loss makes it three in a row for Zombie Werewolves, which gives them a 0 - 3 record. The win brings SkinFan to 2 - 1.
SkinFan were led by the two man wrecking crew of Drew Brees and Adrian Peterson, who combined for 65% of SkinFan's points. Brees contributed a 34 point performance, which topped all but two players this week.1 In a game where he set the NFL record for most completions, his best play involved using his feet, as he broke out a spin move to score this TD.
Coach Tim Fabrizio's squad did well despite having to deal with Stefon Diggs and Phillip Lindsay, who combined to produce 1 point. Lindsay might be heading back to the waiver wire after getting picked up before this game.
Meanwhile, Zombie Werewolves didn't have anybody who was too hot, or too cold, but this Goldilocks outcome was not 'just right'. The Seahawks Defense/ST paced the team by beating the average Defense/ST by 6.4 points, while Matt Bryant (4.3 points worse than the average kicker) was the worst on the team.
On the coaching front, both sides made mistakes this week. Coach Fabrizio's gameday decisions have been the worst in the league this season, and this week showed why. They started Phillip Lindsay instead of Marshawn Lynch, despite the experts' prediction that Lynch should have played.
This decision took a 9 point chunk out of SkinFan's final score. Coach Fabrizio have now cost their team points in both of the last two weeks.
Coach Patrick jolle seem to have forgotten to set their lineup this week. They left Dalvin Cook in the game, despite the fact that he was a guaranteed zero points.
That cost their team 5 points, which would have helped make the final score slightly less embarrassing. The bad decision is more of the same for Coach Jolle, whose gameday decisions have been some of the worst in the league this season.
Next week will see SkinFan taking on the 2 - 1 Homesick Abortions. One of those teams will face a big comedown from this week, as they both won easily. Meanwhile, Zombie Werewolves will collide with Alcoholnics next week.
Week 3 · Sep 25, 2018 12:16 pm ET
Yep, That's It
Alcoholnics took on Pinko Commie Bastards two times last year and won each time. The result this week then, was not surprising. Alcoholnics got the job done against Pinko Commie Bastards, winning 50 to 43. Alcoholnics got a fairly lucky victory, winning with the 4th lowest point total in the league this week.
The win brings Alcoholnics' record to 2 - 1, while dropping Pinko Commie Bastards to 1 - 2.
The rest of Coach Nick Claeboe's team were basically spectating, as Justin Tucker, Alvin Kamara, and Ryan Fitzpatrick combined for 80% of Alcoholnics' points. Fitzpatrick has now exceeded the average quarterback's performance in every game so far this year. He threw for 411 yards on Monday night to become the first quarterback EVER to throw for 400+ yards in three consecutive games.
Despite winning, Alcoholnics struggled to score points due to five underperforming players, of whom Chris Thompson (zero points) was the worst.
Meanwhile, Pinko Commie Bastards can place the blame for this loss squarely on Tom Brady, who managed only 5 points.1 Pinko Commie Bastards were also hurt by the 3rd straight game that Odell Beckham has failed to exceed his expected points. Pinko Commie Bastards only had one player who gave a passable performance this week, with Melvin Gordon scoring 10 points.2
Next week, Alcoholnics will take on Zombie Werewolves, who have scored the fewest points so far this year. Zombie Werewolves will also come into the game looking for their first win. As for Pinko Commie Bastards, they will match up with The Brainers.
Week 3 · Sep 25, 2018 12:16 pm ET
Leave it to Me
Wil Lutz takes control of the game as The Brainers wins
'The thrill is gone'--at least when it comes to Black Micahs' recent games. After last week's blowout, they were involved in another no-doubter this week (but lost this time). Black Micahs got clobbered by The Brainers, losing 70 to 44. The loss drops Black Micahs' record to 2 - 1, while the win brings The Brainers to an identical 2 - 1.
The bottom part of Coach Chuck Rittenhouse's draft came through for him this week. Wil Lutz scored 15 points, while Ben Roethlisberger scored 21. Roethlisberger shook off tacklers in the pocket to buy time for this critical 4th quarter first down.
Although Coach Rittenhouse got the win, he cannot have been happy with Keenan Allen's performance this week. Allen failed to show up, scoring zero points.
Meanwhile, the loss for Black Micahs came down to a pretty simple factor: they didn't go anywhere. Collectively, they only managed to gain 170 yards rushing and receiving. No other team gained fewer total yards this week. Kenyan Drake was clearly the weakest link for Coach Micah Russell and the gang as he posted 10 total yards.
Next week will see The Brainers taking on the 1 - 2 Pinko Commie Bastards. That team will limp into the contest having posted only 43 points this week. Meanwhile, Black Micahs will take on DenBro.
Week 3 · Sep 25, 2018 12:16 pm ET
Putting on a Show
It's looking like we were far too generous when evaluating Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum's prospects this season. They suffered a huge loss to Homesick Abortions, going down 67 to 46.
The loss drops Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum to 0 - 3, well short of where we expected the team with the best draft to be at this point of the season. The win brings Homesick Abortions to 2 - 1.
Homesick Abortions relied heavily on Cam Newton, who dropped 26 points. Newton has now exceeded his points expectations in every game so far this year. He punched in two touchdowns on the ground, giving him the most rushing touchdowns of any quarterback in NFL history.
The only real damper on Homesick Abortions' victory came from Peyton Barber, who scored 1 point.
Meanwhile, it will be difficult for Coach Robert Wetzel to fault any one player for the loss. Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum had seven underperformers, with the Vikings Defense/ST (3 points) being the worst.1 Another underperformer, tight end Jesse James, was the worst at his position this week. Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum only had one player who gave a passable performance this week, with David Johnson scoring 8 points.2
Next week, Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum will take on Big Tex's Pillow Biters, who will come into the game undefeated. Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum have now been the favorite in both their last two games, and failed to perform both times. The experts might not give them the benefit of the doubt in their next one. Meanwhile, Homesick Abortions will be playing SkinFan next week.
Week 4 · Oct 02, 2018 12:51 pm ET
Fortunate Son
Homesick Abortions came into the game as the biggest underdog this week, but they didn't let that get them down. They slid by SkinFan, winning 55 to 51. Homesick Abortions would have only beaten one other team this week, so Coach Chris Crowder got pretty lucky with the schedule.
The win brings Homesick Abortions' record to 3 - 1, while dropping SkinFan to 2 - 2.
Coach Crowder put Derek Carr into the lineup for the first time, and he came through. Carr separated himself from the rest of the crew on Homesick Abortions, totaling 26 points. He overperformed his expectations by more than any other player.
There were three underperformers keeping Homesick Abortions from a proper victory, with Alfred Morris (zero points) being the worst of them. Coach Crowder found out why he was available on the waiver wire this week.
Meanwhile, Drew Brees stuck out as the worst performer for SkinFan, notching only 4 points.1 That performance was the worst of any player this week.2 His momentum from last week's 34 point performance apparently didn't carry over.
On the coaching front, this game left one coach wondering what he has to do to get a win. Coach Crowder might have had a little too much fun last week, as he didn't set his team's lineup. He left O.J. Howard in the lineup, despite the fact that he was a guaranteed zero points. He also left Sammy Watkins in the lineup (Cooper Kupp would have been 21 points better). Having cost his team 27 points total, he is the worst game-day coach in the league so far this season.
Coach Tim Fabrizio can hardly be blamed for this loss, as they set a perfect lineup this week. That wouldn't have happened if they had just played it safe. They went with Phillip Lindsay over the higher ranked Leonard Fournette.
This decision gave SkinFan a nice 8 point bonus. This is the first time this year that Coach Fabrizio's decisions have earned their team points.
These teams will see a difference in the quality of their upcoming opponents. Homesick Abortions will face off against Pinko Commie Bastards next week. Good timing, as Pinko Commie Bastards will come into the matchup on a three game losing streak.
As for SkinFan, they will match up with Big Tex's Pillow Biters. Big Tex's Pillow Biters will come into the game undefeated.
Week 4 · Oct 02, 2018 12:51 pm ET
Who Dat
November 19, 2018. Coach Patrick jolle better mark down that date, as it will be the first chance they have to get revenge for what happened to them this week. Zombie Werewolves (0 - 4) got absolutely demolished by Alcoholnics (3 - 1), losing 100 to 38. In addition to losing the game, Coach Jolle had the distinction of posting the worst score in the league so far this season.
The game leaves both these teams streaking in opposite directions. Alcoholnics have now won three games in a row. This loss brings Zombie Werewolves' losing streak to four in a row.
Alvin Kamara was the clear leader on Alcoholnics this week, putting up 26 points. That performance was good for 2nd place among all players this week.1 After his third TD on the day, he decided to pull a Bo Jackson and run right out of the stadium.
Alcoholnics also got a better-than-expected performance from Justin Tucker, who beat his projections by 8.1 points. Tucker's 16 point performance this week moves him up to being the best kicker in the league this season. Alcoholnics only had one underperfoming player, with Matthew Stafford scoring 16 points.2
Meanwhile, Zombie Werewolves had many underperformers, but Aaron Rodgers stood out, recording only 7 points.3 Bad performances are pretty common these days for Rodgers, who has now underperformed the experts' predictions in three straight games. Adding to their problems, Zombie Werewolves' tight end, Austin Hooper, was the worst at his position this week.
Alcoholnics wasn't just winning on the field, but also chalked up a win in the front office. Coach Nick Claeboe took a flier on James White and saw him put up a very promising 17 points.
Something has to give next week when Alcoholnics and The Brainers clash, as they each come into the game on three game winning streaks. There are likely to be some fireworks in that one, as it features the two highest scoring teams in the league so far. Meanwhile, Zombie Werewolves will collide with Black Micahs.

Special Delivery
Things were lining up pretty well for Big Tex's Pillow Biters coming into this one. They came into the game on a three game winning streak, while Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum came into the game on a three game losing streak. The final result then, was unsurprising.
Big Tex's Pillow Biters earned a nice victory over Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum, winning 74 to 62. The win brings Big Tex's Pillow Biters' record to a perfect 4 - 0, while dropping Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum to 0 - 4.
Big Tex's Pillow Biters had several players step up in the win, as five starters beat their positional averages. Kareem Hunt was just a bit ahead of the others, scoring 14 points.1 That makes it three straight games where Hunt has outperformed the league average running back.
Big Tex's Pillow Biters also got a big effort from Matt Ryan (9.6 points above expected). With the Falcons defense having given up more than 30 points a game, it's likely that Ryan will have to keep flinging it going forward.
Meanwhile, Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum had plenty of duds in the loss. They were brought down by four underperformers, the worst of whom was Michael Thomas (2 points).2
The loss this week certainly wasn't Coach Robert Wetzel's fault. They started three players that the experts thought should be riding the pine. Two of those picks, Andy Dalton and the Eagles Defense/ST, worked out. The other pick, Vance McDonald, did not.
Overall, these moves gave Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum an extra 18 points . It also made Coach Wetzel the best performing gameday coach this week.
Next week, Big Tex's Pillow Biters will take on the 2 - 2 SkinFan. Meanwhile, Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum will take on DenBro.
Week 4 · Oct 02, 2018 12:51 pm ET
Deluge
The Brainers didn't have too much trouble with Pinko Commie Bastards this week, winning 93 to 72. The two teams combined for the highest score so far this season.
The win brings The Brainers to 3 - 1, and sends them to the top of our internal power rankings. The defeat puts Pinko Commie Bastards on a three game losing streak, dropping their record to 1 - 3.
The Brainers had almost all of their firepower going off before the end of the Sunday early games, and they came through big time. Ezekiel Elliott and Giovani Bernard took the lead, scoring 33 points between them. That makes it three straight games of overperforming expectations for Bernard.
Brandin Cooks helped as well, scoring 6.2 more points than expected. Meanwhile, Pinko Commie Bastards were having a so-so performance. Lamar Miller was the worst offender, scoring only 2 points. Miller has now failed to exceed the average running back's point total in any week this year.
Going into the Sunday late games, The Brainers were already looking good. After Wil Lutz scored 16 points, The Brainers had themselves a 'W'. A solid performance for The Brainers by Travis Kelce on Monday night just put a little bit of salt in Pinko Commie Bastards' wounds.
Coach Chuck Rittenhouse's gameday decisions have been the best in the league so far this season, and his brilliance was on display again this week. He left Keenan Allen and Sam Ficken on the bench in favor of Brandin Cooks and Lutz, who were both expected to score less.
These decisions boosted The Brainers' final score by 16 points. Coach Rittenhouse has now earned his team more than twice as many points as any other coach in the league.
The East Side division lead will be at stake when The Brainers takes on Alcoholnics next week. The scoreboard operator might be kept busy in that one, as those are the two highest scoring teams in the league. As for Pinko Commie Bastards, they will square off against Homesick Abortions.
Week 4 · Oct 02, 2018 12:51 pm ET
Come on guys...
Coming into the game, Black Micahs had scored the most points of any team this season. They scored a decent amount of points this week, but it wasn't enough. DenBro gave Black Micahs a 84 to 60 drubbing. Blowouts are par for the course for these teams these days, as they've both been in blowout games for the last three weeks.
The result gets both squads back to a .500 record at 2 - 2.
DenBro were a picture of symmetry, winning with a very balanced lineup. The Bears Defense/ST topped the Defense/ST average by 6.7 points to lead the team, while Emmanuel Sanders fell only 4.3 points short of the average WR in bringing up the rear. The Bears' 14 point performance is no surprise, as they are currently the 3rd best player in the league. They have also now exceeded their points expectations in every game so far this year.
Over in the loser's circle, Black Micahs got a big game from the Packers Defense/ST. The Packers scored 21 points, which were the most that any Defense/ST collected this week. Unfortunately for Black Micahs, they were the only player on the whole team that had a legit good performance.
There were plenty of chefs cooking up this week's loss for Black Micahs. Kenyan Drake was the worst of a six man group of underperformers, racking up zero points. Coach Micah Russell have to be used to bad scores from Drake, who has been the worst performer on Black Micahs more times than any other player.
Coach Don Zimmerman was no passive bystander in the victory this week. They started Sterling Shepard instead of Demaryius Thomas, despite the experts' prediction that Thomas should have played.
This decision netted Coach Zimmerman an extra 10 points, which just made the final result that much more embarrassing. After their decisions this week, Coach Zimmerman's lineup moves are now a net-plus for the year.
Both teams have good news in the upcoming schedule. Next week, Black Micahs will be playing Zombie Werewolves. That team is not coming in very hot, after finishing this week with only 38 points.
As for DenBro, they will square off against Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum. Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum will come into the game looking for their first win.
Week 5 · Oct 09, 2018 02:17 pm ET
Battering Ram
DenBro had the good fortune of having the league's best player this week in Todd Gurley.1 DenBro stomped all over Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum 74 to 52 behind 22 points from Gurley. After his performance this week, he moved up to being the best player in the league. After throwing a haymaker on Twitter before the game, he punched in three TDs in Seattle.
DenBro also got the 2nd highest tight end score this week via Zach Ertz, who racked up 11 points.
Meanwhile, Coach Robert Wetzel can look to Andy Dalton and Robbie Gould when passing out blame for the loss. The two combined to score only 7 points. Coach Wetzel might want to give Dalton some leeway, given that he faced off against the Dolphins, who have been the 2nd best defense against quarterbacks so far this season.
Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum also had to deal with a bad performance from the Eagles Defense/ST, who scored only 3 points. That makes it four straight games where the Eagles have underperformed the league average Defense/ST. Coach Wetzel certainly can't blame the loss on James Conner, who scored 20 points.
The loss drops Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum's record to 0 - 5, while the win brings DenBro to 3 - 2.
Next week will see DenBro taking on the 2 - 3 SkinFan. SkinFan will have to put their quarterback depth to the test in that one, as Drew Brees has his bye week. As for Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum, they will match up with Homesick Abortions.
Week 5 · Oct 09, 2018 02:17 pm ET
The Thrill of (a) Victory
After getting knocked out of the playoffs by Black Micahs last year, Coach Patrick jolle had a chance to exact some revenge, and they took advantage of it. Zombie Werewolves got past Black Micahs, winning 41 to 38. The two teams combined for the lowest score so far this season.
The win is the first of the season for Zombie Werewolves, making their record 1 - 4. Another defeat makes it three in a row for Black Micahs, which leaves them with a 2 - 3 record.
Andrew Luck was the key contributor for Zombie Werewolves, dropping 18 points. Luck has now thrown a completely bonkers 121 passes over the past two weeks.
Given their low point total, it's not surprising that Zombie Werewolves had several underperformers (seven to be exact). Tevin Coleman was the worst of them, scoring exactly zero points. That continues a theme for Coleman, who is yet to top the average running back's point total in any week so far.
Meanwhile, Black Micahs had three stooges, with Jay Ajayi, Patrick Mahomes, and Nick Chubb notching 7 points. Ajayi scored -1 points, which set the new low mark for points in a week this season. He suffered an ACL tear and that will bring an end to his season.
Black Micahs also had to deal with a poor effort from Calvin Ridley (5 points below expected). Ridley's performance this week ended a three game streak of beating the experts' projections. Davante Adams was the only player on the team that didn't underperform, scoring 13 points.
Both coaches in this game struggled with lineup decisions. Zombie Werewolves won this game despite, rather than because of, Coach Jolle's lineup moves. They left Marvin Jones and Aaron Rodgers on the bench in favor of Alshon Jeffery and Andrew Luck, who were both expected to score less.
These terrible decisions cost Zombie Werewolves a total of 8 points, which almost cost Coach Jolle's team the game. This marks the 3rd straight week where Coach Jolle have cost their team points.
Coach Micah Russell also have to be kicking themself for their lineup decisions this week. Perhaps scared off by Kenyan Drake's zero point performance last week, Coach Russell left him on the bench in favor of Nick Chubb, despite the experts' prediction that Drake should have played.
This terrible decision shaved 11 points from Black Micahs' score, which cost them the game. Unfortunately, bad decisions are nothing new to Coach Russell, whose lineup choices have been some of the worst in the league this season.
The schedule for Zombie Werewolves brings Pinko Commie Bastards around next week. Pinko Commie Bastards will come into the game with some momentum, having posted back-to-back 70+ point games.
Meanwhile, Black Micahs will be playing The Brainers next week. That will be a rematch from week three, when Black Micahs ended up getting crushed by 26 points.
Week 5 · Oct 09, 2018 02:17 pm ET
Five Alive!
Big Tex's Pillow Biters have owned SkinFan in the past to the tune of a 3 and 1 record, and went ahead and added to that ledger of dominance this week. They ended up on top against SkinFan, winning 65 to 55. Big Tex's Pillow Biters have now exceeded the league average point total in three straight games.
The win makes it five in a row for Big Tex's Pillow Biters, which brings their record to 5 - 0. The loss drops SkinFan's record to 2 - 3.
Big Tex's Pillow Biters had almost all of their firepower going off during the early Sunday slate, and they got Coach William Hayes' squad off to a solid start. They were powered by Saquon Barkley, who scored 19 points. Barkley went all out to score this last-minute TD, and not only did the Giants not win the game, but he also tweaked his back and is questionable for next week.
Meanwhile, Coach Tim Fabrizio's squad just couldn't quite get it going. Josh Lambo and Phillip Lindsay both did poorly, together coming up with only 6 points.
A win was looking really unlikely for SkinFan going into the Sunday late games. The door slammed shut for good after Marshawn Lynch dropped only 1 point. A solid performance for SkinFan by Drew Brees on Monday night was not nearly enough for a comeback.
Both teams have a tough upcoming schedule. Something has to give next week when Big Tex's Pillow Biters and Alcoholnics clash, as they come into the game on five and four game winning streaks, respectively. The game will be a clash of the titans, as those are the two top teams in the league.
SkinFan's next three games are against winning teams, starting with DenBro next week. The game will be a rematch from week two, and Coach Fabrizio will no doubt be hoping that Stefon Diggs can drop 21 points like he did last time.
Week 5 · Oct 09, 2018 02:17 pm ET
Show's Over
The Brainers came into this week's match-up on a three-game win streak, but Alcoholnics put an end to that. Alcoholnics destroyed The Brainers, winning 62 to 41. Blowouts are par for the course for these teams these days. Alcoholnics has been involved in two straight blowout games, while this is the 4th straight blowout game for The Brainers.
With the win, Alcoholnics moved to 4 - 1, good for the top spot in the East Side division. The loss drops The Brainers' record to 3 - 2.
Coach Nick Claeboe picked up the Bengals Defense/ST off the waiver wire this week and they paid immediate dividends. Alcoholnics relied heavily on the Bengals, who produced 21 points.
The game would have been an even bigger blowout if Alcoholnics had Adam Thielen and his 11 points in the starting lineup. Thielen has been making his case to start recently, having scored 23 points over the past two weeks.
Coach Chuck Rittenhouse put Royce Freeman into the Brainers lineup for the first time this week, but Freeman might want to keep his bench warming pants clean. Freeman was the worst of six underperformers, putting up 1 point.1 This is the 1st time this year that he was the worst starter on his team.
Another underperformer, The Brainers' defense (the Rams), were the worst at their position this week. The Brainers only had one player who gave a passable performance this week, with Ben Roethlisberger scoring 18 points.
The strength of schedule diverges for these squads next week. Next week Alcoholnics will be involved in a clash of the titans. They will take on Big Tex's Pillow Biters in a matchup of the two top records in the league. Big Tex's Pillow Biters will come into the game undefeated.
Although The Brainers lost this game, on the bright side, Alcoholnics was the hardest test they will face for a while. Their next three games are against sub .500 teams, starting with Black Micahs next week. The Brainers will get to face Black Micahs while that squad is in the middle of a three game losing streak.
Week 5 · Oct 09, 2018 02:17 pm ET
Oh!dell
Pinko Commie Bastards had gotten terrible production out their wide receivers this season (3rd worst in the league), but this week it was a whole different story. Pinko Commie Bastards used sticky hands to power themselves to a 108 to 76 victory over Homesick Abortions. Odell Beckham scored 17 points, while Kenny Golladay scored 10. Beckham threw this touchdown to Saquon Barkley, completing a TD pass in 2018 before catching one of his own.
Eric Ebron helped out as well, exceeding his projected point total by 12.6 points. Ebron's 17 point performance topped all tight ends this week.
Meanwhile, Coach Chris Crowder can blame the loss on Devonta Freeman, Cam Newton, and Ian Thomas, who together scored only 13 points. Underperforming is the new normal for Thomas, who has gone four straight games without hitting his projected point total.
In most other games, Homesick Abortions' five overperforming players (led by Antonio Brown, 17 points) would have brought home a win. Brown's 17 point performance this week moves him up to being the 3rd best wide receiver in the league this season.
The win brings Pinko Commie Bastards' record to 2 - 3, while dropping Homesick Abortions to 3 - 2.
There's a favorable schedule ahead for both teams. Pinko Commie Bastards will be going against Zombie Werewolves next week. Points were in short supply for that team this week, as they could only scrounge up 41 of them. That contest will be a rematch from week one, when Pinko Commie Bastards won 67 to 54.
Homesick Abortions' loss is a bad start to an easy stretch on the schedule. The next two games are against sub .500 teams, starting with Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum next week. Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum will come into the game looking for their first win.
Week 6 · Oct 16, 2018 11:40 am ET
That's More Like It!
'We can build on this.' Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum, who stumbled into week six with the worst record in the league, better hope so. They got past Homesick Abortions without much trouble, winning 83 to 63. The 83 points that Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum dropped were the most they scored so far this year.
Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum (finally!) got off the schneid with this win. They now sit at 1 - 5. The loss drops Homesick Abortions' record to 3 - 3.
Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum didn't have any huge performances this week, but also didn't have anybody who really dropped the ball. James Conner paced the team by beating the average running back by 8.7 points, while John Brown (5.1 points worse than the average wide receiver) was the worst on the team. Conner's performance paced Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum for the 2nd time this year.
Meanwhile, Homesick Abortions suffered from two goose eggs, with Cooper Kupp and Alfred Morris failing to contribute anything. Kupp's performance this week ended a three game streak of beating the experts' projections. He suffered a sprained MCL on this vicious horse-tackle.
The Jaguars Defense/ST falling 6.3 points short of their expectations didn't help matters much either. It's yet another disappointing day for the Jaguars, who have now underperformed the experts' predictions in five straight games.
Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum will face off against Big Tex's Pillow Biters next week. Big Tex's Pillow Biters will come into the game undefeated.
As for Homesick Abortions, they will square off against SkinFan. Homesick Abortions might be feeling pretty confident about that game, as SkinFan limps in on a three game losing streak.
Week 6 · Oct 16, 2018 11:40 am ET
Flash Forward
The omens did not look good for Zombie Werewolves coming into the game. They had scored the fewest points of any team over the last three weeks, while Pinko Commie Bastards had scored the second most points of any team over the last three weeks. Both teams lived up (or down) to expectations.
Pinko Commie Bastards had just enough against Zombie Werewolves, winning 86 to 79. The win gets Pinko Commie Bastards back to .500 with a 3 - 3 record. The loss drops Zombie Werewolves' record to 1 - 5.
Melvin Gordon separated himself from the rest of the crew on Pinko Commie Bastards, putting up 24 points. Gordon has now bested the average running back's point total in every game so far this year. He didn’t need to run flashy to find the end zone three times this week.
Gordon got help from three other players, including 17 points from Sony Michel. That's the most points that he's scored so far this year.
Zombie Werewolves, meanwhile, were having a terrible time moving the ball down the field, with the whole team gaining only 231 yards. Zombie Werewolves were practicing their manners as they put every other team ahead of themselves in the RuReYd category this week. Jarvis Landry and Tevin Coleman were double trouble in that category for Zombie Werewolves, together posting only 52 total yards.
Coach Patrick jolle could have won this game with the right lineup. They left Dalvin Cook in the game, despite the fact that he was a guaranteed zero points.
That cost their team 1 point, which ultimately didn't matter much this game. However, if Coach Jolle had left Dalvin Cook on the bench and also started Michael Crabtree, Zombie Werewolves would have won the game.
Next week, Zombie Werewolves will be playing The Brainers. Coach Jolle are getting The Brainers at the right time, as they will limp into next week's game having posted less than 60 points each of the last two weeks.
Meanwhile, Pinko Commie Bastards will take on Black Micahs. Pinko Commie Bastards won't have Tyler Lockett available to start in that contest.
Week 6 · Oct 16, 2018 11:40 am ET
Demolition Derby
The Brainers blew out Black Micahs in week three. This week, Coach Micah Russell got their revenge. Black Micahs took everything from The Brainers but the kitchen sink, winning 95 to 46. With the win, Black Micahs put an end to their three game losing streak.
The game leaves both teams squared up at three wins and three losses.
Two of the key players in this fight were real life teammates, as Black Micahs' Patrick Mahomes squared off against Travis Kelce. While they were on the same team, they sure didn't deliver the same result. For Patrick Mahomes' part, he dropped 25 points for Black Micahs. Mahomes recovered from two first-half interceptions to toss four touchdowns in the 2nd half.
On the other hand, Travis Kelce was not living up to his star status, notching only 3 points. That's the 2nd worst game that Kelce has produced this year.
The rest of Coach Russell's lineup followed Mahomes' lead, scoring 70 more points. That group was led by Tyreek Hill, who scored 26 points. Hill somehow managed to leap to grab this ball, then turn and burn past the safety who had him covered.
Although only one wound up with a victory, both coaches made good decisions this week. . Coach Russell got every lineup spot right this week. This is the first time this year that Coach Russell has pulled that off.
It was just another brilliant day at the office for Coach Chuck Rittenhouse- the best gameday decision-maker in the league this season. He went with Ben Roethlisberger over the higher ranked Jared Goff.
This decision boosted The Brainers' final score by 12 points, which obviously wasn't close to enough. This makes it four weeks in a row that Coach Rittenhouse has taught the experts a lesson in lineup management.
Next week will see Black Micahs taking on the 3 - 3 Pinko Commie Bastards. Pinko Commie Bastards have been racking up the points recently, posting two straight 85+ point games. Coach Russell will be keeping their fingers crossed that Patrick Mahomes will score 36 points like he did when Black Micahs last played Pinko Commie Bastards.
The Brainers' next game will be against Zombie Werewolves in a rematch from week two. The Brainers won the previous matchup in a blowout. The Brainers will come into the next game having lost their last two. It's a big change from two weeks ago, when The Brainers had won their 3rd game in a row.
Week 6 · Oct 16, 2018 11:40 am ET
Pick Six
Big Tex's Pillow Biters had the 2nd best running backs coming into this game, and they came through for Coach William Hayes once again. Big Tex's Pillow Biters ran their way to a 84 to 61 win over Alcoholnics. Saquon Barkley scored 17 points, and Kareem Hunt was close behind with 16. Hunt showed that he knows what to do when Patrick Mahomes starts scrambling- go deep and wait for a bullet.
Big Tex's Pillow Biters also got a better-than-expected performance from Matt Ryan, who beat his projections by 5.1 points. Ryan's 22 point performance this week moves him up to being the 2nd best quarterback in the league this season.
Alcoholnics suffered through poor performances from Carlos Hyde, Justin Tucker, and James White, who collectively managed only 7 points. Tucker's 3 points were the fewest he has scored so far this year. His performance this week also broke his three game streak of surpassing his projections.
Big Tex's Pillow Biters have now finished off six straight opponents after this win, giving them a record of 6 - 0. The loss drops Alcoholnics' record to 4 - 2.
These teams will see a difference in the quality of their upcoming opponents. Big Tex's Pillow Biters' next game will be against Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum in a rematch from week four. Big Tex's Pillow Biters won the previous matchup 74 to 62. Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum will have to play without James Conner, who has a bye week.
Meanwhile, Alcoholnics will collide with DenBro next week. Bad timing for Alcoholnics, as DenBro will come into the matchup on a three game winning streak. DenBro will get to start the league's hottest player in Todd Gurley.
Week 6 · Oct 16, 2018 11:40 am ET
Called It
This was expected to be a blowout, and DenBro didn't disappoint. They made it look easy against SkinFan, winning 72 to 46. Blowouts are nothing new to Coach Don Zimmerman, since DenBro has been involved in the most blowout games of anybody in league so far.
The victory makes it three in a row for DenBro, and gives them a record of 4 - 2. The loss drops SkinFan to 2 - 4, and sinks them to the bottom of our internal power rankings.
Todd Gurley has been the key player throughout DenBro's winning streak, and came through again this week. Gurley joined up with Stephen Gostkowski to score 61% of DenBro's points. Gurley is on quite a hot streak, performing better than any other starter over the last three weeks. He racked up a career high in rushing yards, gashing the Broncos’ D for 208 yards on the ground.
The only real bad apple in DenBro's orchard this week was Deshaun Watson, who scored 2 points. That performance was worse than every other player this week.1
Meanwhile, SkinFan really lost this game as a team. They had six underperformers, with Josh Lambo (1 point) being the worst.2 Lambo's 1 point was the fewest of any kicker this week.
Marshawn Lynch added to SkinFan's troubles, scoring only 2 points. Lynch has now failed to top the league average running back in three straight games.
Next week, SkinFan will take on the 3 - 3 Homesick Abortions. The game will be a rematch from week four, but Homesick Abortions will have Cam Newton, who had his bye week during the first matchup. Meanwhile, DenBro will be playing Alcoholnics next week.
Week 7 · Oct 23, 2018 11:59 am ET
One More Makes Four
DenBro didn't give Alcoholnics a chance this week, blowing past them 93 to 54. Blowouts are par for the course for these teams these days. DenBro has been involved in six straight blowout games, while this is the 4th straight blowout game for Alcoholnics.
The win brings DenBro's winning streak to four games, bringing their record to 5 - 2. Alcoholnics are now 4 - 3 after suffering their first back-to-back losses of the season.
The bulk of Coach Don Zimmerman's squad was playing before the end of the Sunday early games, and they got DenBro off to a solid start. The Broncos Defense/ST drove the bus, scoring 30 points. No other Defense/ST has scored more points than that this season.
Meanwhile, Alcoholnics were sputtering along with a less than stellar performance. Corey Clement kept the scoreboard operator relaxed, coming up with exactly zero points. Clement might be heading back to the waiver wire after getting picked up before this game.
DenBro were already a big favorite to win going into the Sunday late games. It was over for good after Todd Gurley scored 22 points. A solid performance for DenBro by Sterling Shepard on Monday night just made things uglier.
Although one coach got the win, neither coach distinguished themselves with their roster choices. While Coach Zimmerman might have gotten the victory this week, it wasn't due to their efforts. They started two players that the experts thought should be riding the pine. One of those picks, Stephen Gostkowski, worked out. The other pick, Demaryius Thomas, did not.
Overall, these moves cost DenBro a total of 12 points. After their decisions this week, Coach Zimmerman have now cost their team points for the season (10 points worse than the experts).
Coach Nick Claeboe has made more lineup changes than any other coach in the league, but couldn't find the right mix this week. He started Julio Jones instead of Adam Thielen, despite the experts' prediction that Thielen should have played.
This decision took a 8 point chunk out of Alcoholnics' final score, which--thankfully for Coach Claeboe--didn't matter much this game. It did make it back-to-back weeks now where Coach Claeboe has cost his team points.
DenBro will get to avenge two of their rare defeats over the next two weeks, going against Big Tex's Pillow Biters in week nine and Homesick Abortions next week. These two teams squared off in week one, when DenBro lost 56 to 53.
Meanwhile, Alcoholnics and Black Micahs play in a battle for the East Side division lead. The game will be a rematch from week one, and Coach Claeboe will no doubt be worried that Patrick Mahomes will drop another 27 points for Black Micahs like he did the last time those teams faced off.
Week 7 · Oct 23, 2018 11:59 am ET
Working It
Black Micahs earned a pretty comfortable victory over Pinko Commie Bastards, winning 78 to 64. The win gets Black Micahs back above .500 at 4 - 3. The loss drops Pinko Commie Bastards' record to 3 - 4.
Patrick Mahomes was expected to be the top performing QB this week, and that's exactly what he was. Mahomes was the clear leader on Black Micahs, totaling 27 points. That's all in a day's work for the best quarterback in the league. Plays like this helped him set the NFL record for most TDs in a quarterback's first eight games.
Black Micahs also got a big effort from the Patriots Defense/ST (7.7 points above expected). The Patriots scored 16 points, which is the most they've gotten so far this year.
Meanwhile, Sony Michel was clearly the weakest link for Coach Erran Yearty and the gang as he scored -1 points. That was the fewest of any running back this week. His performance also ended a three game streak of beating the experts' projections.
Coach Yearty appears to have been too busy to set his lineup this week. He left Melvin Gordon in the game, despite the fact that he was a guaranteed zero points. That cost his team 9 points, which ultimately didn't matter much this game.
Next week will see Black Micahs taking on the 4 - 3 Alcoholnics. Black Micahs will have to put their wide receiver depth to the test in that one, as Calvin Ridley has his bye week.
As for Pinko Commie Bastards, they will square off against The Brainers. Good timing, as The Brainers will come into the matchup on a three game losing streak.
Week 7 · Oct 23, 2018 11:59 am ET
7th Heaven
Big Tex's Pillow Biters have been relying on Kareem Hunt all year, and he came through again this week. Hunt led the way as Big Tex's Pillow Biters skated by Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum pretty easily, winning 68 to 51. His 24 point performance was good for 2nd place among all players this week.1 This is what he looks like hurdling the Bengals’ D on his way to a rushing title, maybe.
Although they got the win, Big Tex's Pillow Biters had some bad luck in the personnel department. This awkward landing knocked LeSean McCoy out of the game on the Bills’ second play from scrimmage.
Meanwhile, Andy Dalton loomed large in the loss for Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum, scoring 5 points.2 That performance was worse than every other player this week.3 He was part of a group of four underperformers, with Joe Mixon (only 2 points) being the worst of the rest.
Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum only had one player who gave a passable performance this week, with Michael Thomas scoring 9 points.4
With the win, Big Tex's Pillow Biters continues their seven-game streak of success, which gives them a 7 - 0 record. The loss leaves Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum now with the worst record in the league at 1 - 6.
Both teams have good news in the upcoming schedule. The schedule for Big Tex's Pillow Biters brings SkinFan around next week. That team will limp into the contest having posted only 44 points this week. SkinFan won this week, but that might be a good thing for Big Tex's Pillow Biters, since SkinFan has yet to win back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum will collide with Zombie Werewolves next week. Ratings for that game might be a little low, as the matchup will feature the two worst teams in the league.
Week 7 · Oct 23, 2018 11:59 am ET
Carrying the Load
Zombie Werewolves got this win with a little bit in reserve, earning a 77 to 65 victory over The Brainers. Zombie Werewolves got some measure of revenge on The Brainers for their matchup back in week two, when The Brainers crushed Zombie Werewolves 89 to 48.
The loss drops The Brainers back below .500 at 3 - 4. The win brings Zombie Werewolves to 2 - 5.
Zombie Werewolves were a picture of symmetry, winning with a very balanced lineup. Andrew Luck topped the quarterback average by 7.7 points to lead the team, while Evan Engram fell only 4.3 points short of the average TE in bringing up the rear. Luck has now overperformed the experts' predictions in four straight games. He managed to throw four TD passes despite a season-low 23 attempts.
The Rams Defense/ST did their best to give The Brainers a chance to win. The Rams scored 21 points, which topped all but one Defense/ST this week. Unfortunately, for The Brainers, they both began and ended the list of big performers on the squad.
Ezekiel Elliott was the main culprit in The Brainers' loss, scoring only 1 point. That's the fewest points that he's scored so far this year.
Coach Rittenhouse's lineup decisions earned his team points last week, and did again this week. He went with Royce Freeman over the higher ranked Alex Collins.
This decision gave The Brainers a nice 6 point bonus. Coach Rittenhouse has now earned his team more than twice as many points as any other coach in the league.
Next week will see Zombie Werewolves taking on the 1 - 6 Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum. The game might be painful to watch, as Zombie Werewolves and Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum have the two worst records in the league.
Next week will feature a mirror image matchup when the 3 - 4 Brainers take on the 3 - 4 Pinko Commie Bastards. The matchup will feature the two top TE's in the league, as Travis Kelce meets up with Eric Ebron.
Week 7 · Oct 23, 2018 11:59 am ET
Sweet Mercy
The experts must be feeling pretty smart this week. They predicted that Homesick Abortions (3 - 4) would score the fewest points this week, and that's exactly what they did. They could not make it much of a game, losing to SkinFan (3 - 4) 44 to 28. The two teams combined to score the fewest points so far this season.
The game ended one losing steak and started a new one. The victory ended SkinFan's three game losing streak. The defeat is the 3rd in a row for Homesick Abortions.
SkinFan got more than half their points from just two players: Greg Zuerlein and Phillip Lindsay. Greg the Leg scored 13 points, which made him the top performer on SkinFan for the first time this year.
Despite winning, SkinFan struggled to score points due to six underperforming players, of whom the Bills Defense/ST (2 points) was the worst.1 Coach Tim Fabrizio were no doubt hoping for more from the Bills' first venture off the bench.
Coach Chris Crowder saw some familiar names among his bad players this week. The Jaguars Defense/ST, Ito Smith, and DJ Moore continued to disappoint, combining for 5 points. Smith's performance broke his three game streak of surpassing his projections. Coach Crowder is still waiting to get one above-average week from him.
Homesick Abortions also had to deal with a bad performance from Mark Ingram, who scored only 1 point. Ingram has an excuse of sorts, having to go against the Ravens- the best defense against running backs so far this season.
Both teams face trouble in the upcoming schedule. Homesick Abortions will be going against DenBro next week. Coach Don Zimmerman's team just had a huge week, having posted 93 points. That contest will be a rematch from week one, when Homesick Abortions won 56 to 53.
As for SkinFan, they will match up with Big Tex's Pillow Biters. Big Tex's Pillow Biters will come into the game undefeated.
Week 8 · Oct 30, 2018 12:35 pm ET
End of the Line
SkinFan made sure that they didn't become the 8th straight team to lose to Big Tex's Pillow Biters. SkinFan made it past Big Tex's Pillow Biters, winning 54 to 49. After winning a lucky one last week, SkinFan did it again, winning a game with the 3rd lowest score this week.
SkinFan are now 4 - 4 after picking up their first back-to-back wins of the season. The loss is the first of the season for Big Tex's Pillow Biters, dropping their record to 7 - 1.
Adrian Peterson was the key contributor for SkinFan, notching 18 points. Peterson's performance this week ended a three game streak of failing to perform at a league average level. He lost a fumble but still managed 149 yards on the ground with the help of this age-defying 64-yard touchdown run.
There were five underperformers keeping SkinFan from a proper victory, with Drew Brees (5 points) being the worst of them.1 Brees threw a season-low 23 pass attempts while peppering in his first interception of the season.
Meanwhile, Big Tex's Pillow Biters can place the blame for this loss squarely on Jameis Winston, who managed only 3 points.2 That performance was worse than every other player this week.3 He had a miserable 4 interception game, getting benched late and likely losing his starting role (again).
Saquon Barkley has to share in some of the blame as well, coming up with 7.2 fewer points than he was expected to. Barkley's production has dipped in recent weeks as the Giants’ offense continues to flounder heading into their bye week. The only real legit performance that Big Tex's Pillow Biters got came courtesy of Mike Evans, who scored 15 points.
The strength of schedule diverges for these squads next week. Coach Tim Fabrizio can rest a bit after this big victory since the next two games are against sub .500 teams, starting with Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum next week. The game will be a rematch from week one, when Drew Brees went off for 25 points.
Big Tex's Pillow Biters' next game will be against DenBro in a rematch from week three. Big Tex's Pillow Biters absolutely demolished DenBro, winning by 50 points. DenBro brings in the best player in the league over the past three weeks: Todd Gurley.
Week 8 · Oct 30, 2018 12:35 pm ET
Beat Down
Coach Chuck Rittenhouse really needed someone to lend him a hand and help end his three game losing streak. Coach Erran Yearty was only too happy to help. The Brainers thoroughly dominated Pinko Commie Bastards, winning 106 to 50. The win is part of a larger trend for The Brainers. In each of the last three weeks they have scored more points than the week before.
The win brings The Brainers back to even at 4 - 4. The loss drops Pinko Commie Bastards' record to 3 - 5.
The Brainers started off strong early, with all four starters in that period outperforming their positional averages. Will Fuller's 13 points were the key contribution. Fuller's performance this week ended a three game streak of failing to hit his projections.
The Redskins Defense/ST added an unexpected boost, scoring 5.5 points more than they was projected to. It's also the 3rd straight week that they have outperformed their projections.
Meanwhile, Pinko Commie Bastards were having a so-so performance. T.J. Yeldon's 4 points were the biggest blow.
Going into the Sunday late games, The Brainers was a heavy favorite. Any doubt in the outcome was removed after Marlon Mack and Jared Goff dropped 40 points. A solid performance for The Brainers by Wil Lutz on Sunday night just put a little bit of salt in Pinko Commie Bastards' wounds.
Two 4 - 4 teams will do battle next week when The Brainers takes on Homesick Abortions. Pinko Commie Bastards' next game will be against Alcoholnics in a rematch from week three. Pinko Commie Bastards lost the previous matchup 50 to 43. Alcoholnics will have to play without A.J. Green, who has a bye week next week.
Week 8 · Oct 30, 2018 12:35 pm ET
Lineup Nirvana
Black Micahs came up with a truckload of points last week. This week...not so much. They lost to Alcoholnics, 66 to 57. Black Micahs beat Alcoholnics back in week one, so the turnabout this week was fair play.
The loss drops Black Micahs' record to 4 - 4, while the win brings Alcoholnics to 5 - 3.
Alvin Kamara led a very balanced group of five overperformers for Alcoholnics this week, racking up 15 points.1 Kamara's performance on Sunday night took him from the 9th best player to the 5th best player in the league. The Saints were head over heels about his second rushing touchdown of the game.
Alcoholnics won despite bad games from Justin Tucker, the Texans Defense/ST, and Trey Burton, who together recorded 7 points. The Texans' performance this week broke their four game streak of surpassing their projections.
Meanwhile, Black Micahs saw six different players underperform, and while none of them particularly stuck out, Isaiah Crowell and his 1 point was officially the worst.2 Coach Micah Russell might want to give Crowell some leeway, given that he faced off against the Bears, who have been the 2nd best defense against running backs so far this season.
Matt Prater added to Black Micahs' troubles, scoring only 2 points. Black Micahs has never won when Prater failed to hit his expected points, going 0 - 3.
On the coaching front, the difference in tactical skill showed this week. The outcome of this one would have been different if Coach Russell had gotten all of their lineup picks right. They started Prater instead of Jake Elliott, despite the experts' prediction that Elliott should have played.
This decision cost Black Micahs a total of 4 points. If Coach Russell had left Prater on the bench and also started Kenyan Drake, Black Micahs would have won the game.
As for Coach Nick Claeboe, he followed the experts' advice for each position this week and ended up with a perfect lineup. This is the first time all season that Coach Claeboe has pulled that off.
Although Black Micahs lost this game, on the bright side, Alcoholnics were the hardest test they will face for a while. Their next two games are against sub .500 teams, starting with Zombie Werewolves next week. As for Alcoholnics, they will match up with Pinko Commie Bastards.
Week 8 · Oct 30, 2018 12:35 pm ET
As Expected
The experts had Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum winning this one easy. The experts were all kinds of right. Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum crushed Zombie Werewolves, winning 92 to 62. Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum set their new high mark for the season with those 92 points.
The win brings Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum's record to 2 - 6, while dropping Zombie Werewolves to an identical 2 - 6.
Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum were led by the three-headed-monster of James Conner, DeAndre Hopkins, and Joe Mixon, who together got 56 of their team's 92 points. Hopkins kicked in a 16 point performance, which was good for 5th place among all players this week.1 An offensive pass interference call robbed he of the best catch this season that didn’t count. He did haul in six catches, two for scores.
Robbie Gould was the only underperforming player, scoring 7 points.2
Meanwhile, Zombie Werewolves had a very balanced lineup, but it was balanced at too low of a level. Andrew Luck paced the team by beating the average quarterback by 5.2 points, while Jarvis Landry (5.2 points worse than the average wide receiver) was the worst on the team.
Next week, Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum will be playing SkinFan. Coach Wetzel will be happy to see that SkinFan is coming into next week's game having scored less than 60 points in their previous two games.
Meanwhile, Zombie Werewolves will be playing Black Micahs. This game is a rematch, but it might not look the same as week five, since Black Micahs will have DeSean Jackson available this time around.
Week 8 · Oct 30, 2018 12:35 pm ET
No Streak For You!
Homesick Abortions get to go home happy for the first time in four weeks. They took down DenBro handily, winning 97 to 75. With the win, Homesick Abortions put an end to DenBro's four-game win streak.
The win evens up Homesick Abortions' record at 4 - 4. The loss drops DenBro's record to 5 - 3.
Sammy Watkins was expected to be the worst performing WR this week, but apparently that was just fuel for the fire. Homesick Abortions had all (well, most) hands on deck in this win, with six players beating their positional averages. Watkins was the best of the bunch, posting 17 points.1 That made him the top performer on Homesick Abortions for the first time this year.
Antonio Brown helped out as well, exceeding his projected point total by 5 points. Brown took advantage of not being covered at all on this 43-yard pass for six.
DenBro are bound to have a hard time winning when the Bears Defense/ST have a bad week, and that's just what happened. The Bears were part of a three man group of troublemakers, teaming up with Sterling Shepard and Emmanuel Sanders to produce 8 points. Bad performances are pretty common these days for the Bears, who have now underperformed the experts' predictions in three straight games.
Coach Don Zimmerman's gameday decisions have been some of the worst in the league this season, and this week they showed why. They started two players that the experts thought should be riding the pine. One of those picks, Stephen Gostkowski, worked out. The other pick, Kirk Cousins, did not.
Overall, these moves cost DenBro a total of 11 points. Coach Zimmerman have now cost their team points in both of the last two weeks.
Homesick Abortions will face off against The Brainers next week. Homesick Abortions will have long odds to win if The Brainers scores another 106 points, like they did this week.
Meanwhile, DenBro will take on Big Tex's Pillow Biters. That team is not coming in very hot, after finishing this week with only 49 points. They won't have Zach Ertz available to start in the contest.
Week 9 · Nov 06, 2018 01:13 pm ET
Bearing Down
This contest featured the top performing player this week in the Bears Defense/ST, and not surprisingly, they played on the winning team.1 The Bears was the key component as DenBro slid by Big Tex's Pillow Biters, winning 72 to 65. Their performance this week stopped their three game streak of not meeting their projections.
DenBro also got a better-than-expected performance from Christian McCaffrey, who beat his projections by 9.8 points. McCaffrey got some serious air in one of his most productive games of the season. Kirk Cousins provided the only truly sour note for DenBro this week, as he scored 4 points.
LeSean McCoy got his first start for Big Tex's Pillow Biters this week, but it might be his last. Big Tex's Pillow Biters had two players bring nothing to the table, with McCoy and Mike Evans both producing big fat 0's. McCoy has an excuse of sorts, having to go against the Bears- the 2nd best defense against running backs so far this season. He has now underperformed the league average running back in seven straight games.
Coach William Hayes didn't do his team any favors by starting the Steelers Defense/ST against the experts' advice. The Steelers contributed only 4 points.
The loss drops Big Tex's Pillow Biters' record to 7 - 2, while the win brings DenBro to 6 - 3.
There's a favorable schedule ahead for both teams. Big Tex's Pillow Biters was the hardest test DenBro will face for a while, as its next three games are against sub .500 teams, starting with Zombie Werewolves next week.
Hopefully, there won't be too many bye week players in the lineup next week when Big Tex's Pillow Biters takes on Homesick Abortions in a battle between the worst gameday coaches in the league so far. The game will be a rematch from week two, and Coach Hayes needs to be concerned about Cam Newton, who scored 22 points for Homesick Abortions the last time these two teams met.
Week 9 · Nov 06, 2018 01:13 pm ET
Just Get Out of the Way
Alcoholnics put on a clinic for Pinko Commie Bastards this week, winning 84 to 48. The win is more of the same for Alcoholnics, who won the last game with Pinko Commie Bastards by the score of 50 to 43.
The loss is the 3rd straight for Pinko Commie Bastards, and puts their record at 3 - 6. The win brings Alcoholnics to 6 - 3.
Alcoholnics relied heavily on Alvin Kamara, who recorded 23 points. Good performances are nothing new for Kamara, who has been the top performer on Alcoholnics more times than any other player. He delivered his third three-touchdown performance of the season with the help of this leap frog over a Rams defender.
Kamara was joined by five other overperformers, including James White, who delivered 16 points. Although Coach Nick Claeboe got the win, he cannot have been happy with Matthew Stafford's performance this week. Stafford failed to show up, scoring 1 point. He fell farther short of his expected points than any other player.
Meanwhile, there's no pointing fingers in Pinko Commie Bastards' loss as they failed all over the place. Lamar Miller was the worst of a six man group of underperformers, dropping only 2 points.1 Coach Erran Yearty has to be used to bad scores from Miller, who has been the worst performer on Pinko Commie Bastards more times than any other player.
These teams will see a difference in the quality of their upcoming opponents. Alcoholnics will be going against The Brainers next week. Alcoholnics might need another big game to win that matchup, as The Brainers comes into the game fresh off a 90 point performance. That will be a rematch from week five, when Alcoholnics won easily.
Meanwhile, Pinko Commie Bastards will take on SkinFan. Coach Yearty can look forward to facing SkinFan at an opportune time. SkinFan has scored less than 55 points in their last two games heading into this one.
Week 9 · Nov 06, 2018 01:13 pm ET
Not Even Close
The Brainers came into the game on a three game streak of improving their point total. They broke their streak, but still got the W. Coach Chuck Rittenhouse's squad pounded Homesick Abortions into submission, winning 90 to 45. Blowouts are par for the course for these teams these days, as both of them were in blowouts last week as well.
The win brings The Brainers to 5 - 4, and sends them to the top of our internal power rankings. The loss was Homesick Abortions' 4th in their last five games, bringing their record to 4 - 5.
The Brainers got good efforts from almost everyone on the squad, with six players topping their positional averages. Travis Kelce was the first among equals, totaling 16 points.1 That was the most that any tight end collected this week. A good performance by Kelce has been crucial for The Brainers all year, as they have gone 4 - 1 when he exceeds expectations, and 1 - 3 when he doesn't.
The Brainers also got a big effort from Jared Goff (7.5 points above expected). Goff did his best to keep up with a red-hot Drew Brees by showing off his scrambling skills on this 18-yard touchdown pass.
Meanwhile, two players stood out for their poor performance on Homesick Abortions, with running backs Mark Ingram and Aaron Jones combining to score zero points. The negative 1 point that Ingram scored was the fewest that he has scored so far this year. Adding to their problems, Homesick Abortions' kicker, Mason Crosby, was the worst at his position this week.
Homesick Abortions only had one player who gave a passable performance this week, with Cooper Kupp scoring 10 points.2
Coach Chris Crowder seems to have forgotten to set his lineup this week. He left Rob Gronkowski in the game, despite the fact that he was a guaranteed zero points.
That cost his team 14 points, which would have helped make the final score slightly less embarrassing. He has been outsmarted by the experts more than any other coach in the league this season, having cost his team 36 points.
The Brainers' next game will be against Alcoholnics in a rematch from week five. The Brainers ended up getting crushed in the previous matchup by 21 points. Alcoholnics will have to put their wide receiver depth to the test in next week's matchup, as Adam Thielen has his bye week.
Meanwhile, Homesick Abortions will collide with Big Tex's Pillow Biters. Homesick Abortions will face off against Matt Ryan in that game, part of a three game stretch against tough quarterbacks which will see them take on Patrick Mahomes and Andrew Luck in the following weeks.
Week 9 · Nov 06, 2018 01:13 pm ET
Leading the Charge
Zombie Werewolves didn't want to rock the boat this week. Having been projected to score the fewest points, they went out and did just that. Coach Patrick jolle's boys got beat down by Black Micahs, losing 63 to 31. The 31 points Zombie Werewolves scored are the 2nd fewest that any team has scored this season.
The loss leaves Zombie Werewolves now with the worst record in the league at 2 - 7. The win gets Black Micahs back above .500 at 5 - 4.
Patrick Mahomes has been coming through for Black Micahs all year, and this week was no different. Although Black Micahs won with a balanced effort, Mahomes was just a bit ahead of the others, notching 21 points. No surprise there, as he is currently the best quarterback in the league. He continues to breathe rarefied air, becoming the first QB to throw 27 touchdowns in his first 10 games, with three more this week.
Black Micahs overcame poor performances from the Packers Defense/ST and Isaiah Crowell (2 points each) in getting this win. Underperforming is the new normal for the Packers, who have gone four straight games without hitting their projected point total.
Meanwhile, Tarik Cohen hadn't dropped the ball for Zombie Werewolves since week three's stinker. Well, that run has come to an end. Cohen was one of three big underperformers, combining with Kerryon Johnson and the Seahawks Defense/ST to produce 3 points. Cohen's performance this week ended a three game streak of beating the experts' projections.
Next week, Zombie Werewolves will take on the 6 - 3 DenBro. DenBro will enter the game with Todd Gurley, who has been the best player in the league so far.
As for Black Micahs, they will square off against Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum next week. Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum will come into the game with some momentum, having posted back-to-back 75+ point games. Both coaches on those teams might be feeling a bit cocky heading into the game, having easily dispatched their opponents this week.
Week 9 · Nov 06, 2018 01:13 pm ET
Vikings Plunder
Coming into the game, SkinFan had scored the fewest points of any team over the last three weeks. True to form, they got weak results this week. Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum left SkinFan wondering where it all went wrong, winning 100 to 48. SkinFan beat Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum back in week one, so the reversal of fortune this week seems fair.
The loss drops SkinFan back below .500 at 4 - 5. The win was Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum's 3rd in their last four games, bringing their record to 3 - 6.
The Vikings Defense/ST and Michael Thomas were the key contributors, totaling 21 and 17 points, respectively. Thomas' 17 points topped all wide receivers this week. He helped secure a big Saints win with this late 72-yard catch and run before dialing up a classic Joe Horn flip-phone celebration.
Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum only had one underperfoming player, with Dalvin Cook scoring 5 points.
Meanwhile, Adrian Peterson and the Ravens Defense/ST were the captain and first mate on the good ship failboat. Together they dropped only 1 point. The Ravens scored 1 point, which was the fewest of any Defense/ST this week. They have now been the worst performing starter in the league over the last three weeks.
In addition to Peterson and the Ravens, SkinFan had four other underperforming players this week, including Phillip Lindsay, who scored only 4 points. Drew Brees was the only true bright spot for SkinFan, scoring 27 points. Quite an improvement from last week, when Brees scored only 5 points.
Coach Wetzel's gameday decisions have been some of the best in the league this season, and this week showed why. They wound up with a perfect lineup this week, albeit by following the CBSSports projections to the letter. They have now set the most perfect lineups of anyone in the league.
SkinFan have a lucky matchup set for next week. They play Pinko Commie Bastards, a team currently on a three game losing skid. Both SkinFan and Pinko Commie Bastards will enter that game trying to recover from the beatings they each took this week.
As for Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum, Coach Wetzel cannot be happy with how their team has played this season, but they have to be enjoying the recent turnaround, having won the past 2 games. They'll hope to keep that momentum going into next week's matchup with Black Micahs.
Week 10 · Nov 13, 2018 09:51 pm ET
No Chance
In a week where there were four blowouts, this was the biggest. DenBro completely dismantled Zombie Werewolves, winning 100 to 48. The 100 points that DenBro dropped were the most they scored so far this year.
The defeat puts Zombie Werewolves on a three game losing streak, dropping their record to 2 - 8. The win brings DenBro to 7 - 3.
DenBro had two main stars in Christian McCaffrey and Zach Ertz, who together notched 43 points. Ertz's 19 point performance topped all but one tight end so far this season. He was flying high for the Eagles with two spectacular touchdown grabs on his way to 145 yards for the game.
Zombie Werewolves had never won when the Seahawks Defense/ST failed to hit their expected points, and that held true again this week. Tevin Coleman, the Seahawks, and Marvin Jones were quite coordinated in their failures for Zombie Werewolves. They each posted only 2 points. Zombie Werewolves only had one player who gave a passable performance this week, with Chris Boswell scoring 12 points.1
Coach Don Zimmerman certainly deserved the win, given their lineup decisions. They left Chris Herndon and his 7.4 expected points on the bench, favoring Zach Ertz (4.8 points expected).
This great decision boosted DenBro's final score by 18 points, which just made the final result that much more embarrassing. It also earned Coach Zimmerman 'Coach of the Week' honors, as they gave their squad more extra points than anyone else in the league.
DenBro's victory over a struggling team bodes well for the squad, as its upcoming schedule doesn't get any harder. The next two games are against sub .500 teams, starting with Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum next week. The game will be a rematch from week five, but DenBro will have the Bears Defense/ST available, who had their bye week during the first matchup.
As for Zombie Werewolves, they will match up with Alcoholnics next week. These two teams squared off in week four, when Zombie Werewolves was run off the field, losing by 62 points.
Week 10 · Nov 13, 2018 09:51 pm ET
Cya!
It's probably been tough for Coach Chuck Rittenhouse to stay awake while following his recent games. The previous two games were blowouts, and this week's action was no different. The Brainers demolished Alcoholnics, winning 101 to 72. The 101 points The Brainers scored set the high mark for the league this week.
The Brainers have now won three games in a row, which brings their record to 6 - 4. The loss drops Alcoholnics' record to an identical 6 - 4.
Coach Rittenhouse didn't have to wait long to see one of his players go off. Ben Roethlisberger lit up the Panthers on Thursday night, throwing for more touchdowns (5) than incompletions (4). It's hard to single out any one highlight, but this laser to the back of the endzone was pretty nice, as was his opening toss to JuJu Smith-Schuster for a 75-yard touchdown. Roethlisberger finished the night with a perfect 158.3 passer rating, the fourth time he’s done that in his career and the most in NFL history.
Ezekiel Elliott helped out as well, exceeding his projected point total by 12.4 points. Elliott hurdled over the Eagles on his way to two scores under the bright Sunday Night Football lights.
The only real damper on The Brainers' victory came from Jordan Howard, who scored 1 point. Howard's performance broke his three game streak of surpassing his projections.
James White stuck out as the worst performer for Alcoholnics, delivering only 1 point. That's the fewest points that he's scored so far this year. He followed up his huge game against Green Bay with a stinker in Tennessee, actually posting negative 5 rushing yards on the day.
Coach Rittenhouse earned his team points last week, and decided that he wanted extra points this week as well. He went with the Redskins Defense/ST over the higher ranked the Rams Defense/ST.
This decision netted Coach Rittenhouse an extra 10 points, which only added to The Brainers' domination. Coach Rittenhouse has now earned his team more than twice as many points as any other coach in the league.
Alcoholnics will get a chance to avenge the largest loss that any team has suffered this season (62 points) when they rematch against Zombie Werewolves next week. Coach Nick Claeboe will no doubt be hoping that Alvin Kamara can drop 26 points like he did when he last went against Zombie Werewolves. Meanwhile, The Brainers will be playing SkinFan next week.
Week 10 · Nov 13, 2018 09:51 pm ET
Cool Brees
SkinFan have been relying on Drew Brees all year, and he came through again this week. SkinFan squeaked past Pinko Commie Bastards, winning 69 to 67 behind 26 points from Brees. That's all in a day's work for the 2nd best quarterback in the league. He moved into second place all-time in career touchdowns at 509 with this quick toss to Michael Thomas at the end of the first half.
Meanwhile, Pinko Commie Bastards had many underperformers, but Sony Michel stood out, producing only 1 point. Coach Erran Yearty might want to give Michel some leeway, given that he faced off against the Titans, who have been the 2nd best defense against running backs so far this season.
SkinFan improve to 5 - 5 after winning three out of their last four games. The loss drops Pinko Commie Bastards' record to 3 - 7.
It was important for SkinFan to get the victory this week, as Pinko Commie Bastards will be the easiest game they will face for a while. The next three games are against winning teams, starting with The Brainers next week. The Brainers have been racking up the points recently also, posting three straight 85+ point games. Meanwhile, someone will finally get relief next week when Pinko Commie Bastards and Big Tex's Pillow Biters clash, as they come into the game on four and three game losing streaks, respectively.
Week 10 · Nov 13, 2018 09:51 pm ET
Too Deep
Black Micahs didn't break a sweat against Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum this week, winning 99 to 67. Blowouts are par for the course for these teams these days. Black Micahs has been involved in two straight blowout games, while this is the 3rd straight blowout game for Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum. The win brings Black Micahs' record to 6 - 4, while dropping Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum to 3 - 7.
Black Micahs got a nice group performance in the win, as five players beat their positional averages. Nick Chubb was the best of the bunch, putting up 22 points. Chubb set his high mark for the season with that effort.
Black Micahs also got a good performance from Tyreek Hill, who scored 18 points. Hill's yo-yo production is back up again after two touchdown catches Sunday, including this clutch grab in traffic that led to the week’s best celebration behind the camera.
Mitchell Trubisky was kept on Black Micahs' bench in the victory, but he didn't let that discourage him, as he went off for 30 points. Trubisky did better than any player actually in Black Micahs' starting lineup this week.
Meanwhile, Andy Dalton loomed large in the loss for Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum, recording 4 points.1 That performance was worse than every other player this week.2 His two interceptions were enough to drag the Bengals down.
Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum did get a couple of good, but ultimately futile, efforts from David Johnson and Michael Thomas, who came up with a total of 35 points. Johnson scored 20 points, which made him the top performer on Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum for the first time this year.
Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum's next game will be against DenBro in a rematch from week five. Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum lost the previous matchup 74 to 52. DenBro will get to slot Christian McCaffrey into the lineup, who has been the best player in the league over the past three weeks. Meanwhile, Black Micahs will collide with Homesick Abortions next week.
Week 10 · Nov 13, 2018 09:51 pm ET
Bring the Pain
Homesick Abortions got something this week that has been all too rare- a good performance from their running backs. Homesick Abortions used a big game from their running backs to take down Big Tex's Pillow Biters 65 to 40. Aaron Jones scored 20 points, while Mark Ingram scored 13. Jones bowled his way through a group of Dolphins on his way to a Lambeau Leap after his second touchdown of the day.
The Jets Defense/ST was expected to be the best D/ST this week, but ended up being the worst. The Jets were the worst of seven underperformers, dropping 1 point. That makes it four straight games where they have underperformed the league average Defense/ST. Bad performances are nothing new for the Jets, who have been the worst performer on Big Tex's Pillow Biters more times than any other player.
Big Tex's Pillow Biters only had one player who gave a passable performance this week, with Harrison Butker scoring 10 points.1
The win gets Homesick Abortions back to .500 with a 5 - 5 record. The loss makes it three in a row for Big Tex's Pillow Biters, putting their record at 7 - 3.
Homesick Abortions will try to make it two in a row versus Black Micahs next week. The contest will see some top shelf WR play, as Antonio Brown meets up with Tyreek Hill. Meanwhile, someone will finally get relief next week when Big Tex's Pillow Biters and Pinko Commie Bastards clash, as they come into the game on three and four game losing streaks, respectively.
Week 11 · Nov 20, 2018 01:15 pm ET
Next Time, I'll Even Try
The Brainers exceeded their expectations for four straight weeks coming into this game, did it again, and were rewarded with a victory. They gave SkinFan a 99 to 73 drubbing. The Brainers' 99 points didn't just give them a win, but moved them into the top spot for points in the season as well.
That's four straight wins for The Brainers, for those of you counting, giving them a record of 7 - 4. The loss drops SkinFan back below .500 at 5 - 6.
Jared Goff was the clear leader on The Brainers this week, tallying 30 points. That performance was good for 5th place among all players this week.1
The Brainers also got a big effort from Ezekiel Elliott (4.4 points above expected). Elliott balled out for 122 rushing yards which included this powerful 23-yard bullrush for six.
The game would have been an even bigger blowout if Coach Chuck Rittenhouse had put the Rams Defense/ST (23 points) in the lineup. No other player riding the pine did better this week.
Meanwhile, Coach Tim Fabrizio can blame the loss on the Ravens Defense/ST, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, and Dallas Goedert, who together scored only 1 point. Valdes-Scantling scored zero points, which were the fewest of any wide receiver this week. Unfortunately, more bad performances might be on tap for Valdes-Scantling, who has seen his point total drop in each of the last three weeks.
A key injury will make this loss for SkinFan sting even more. Alex Smith was already having a bad day, having thrown a 101-yard pick-six, before he was sacked for the fifth time and snapped his leg on the 33rd anniversary of Joe Theisman’s career-ending injury that appeared to be very similar.
Next week will see The Brainers taking on the 4 - 7 Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum. The game ought to be quite the strategic battle as it will feature the best gameday coaches in the league. Meanwhile, SkinFan will be playing Alcoholnics. Points were in short supply for that team this week, as they could only scrounge up 43 of them.
Week 11 · Nov 20, 2018 01:15 pm ET
Relief
Zombie Werewolves get to go home happy for the first time in four weeks. They wound up with a solid victory margin against Alcoholnics, winning 52 to 43. Zombie Werewolves picked up a lucky win, given that their score topped only two other teams this week.
The win brings Zombie Werewolves' record to 3 - 8, while dropping Alcoholnics to 6 - 5.
Zombie Werewolves were led by the trio of Kenny Golladay, Kerryon Johnson, and Aaron Rodgers, who combined for 73% of their team's points. Rodgers couldn’t have delivered this gift-wrapped 57-yard pass any better if he’d handed it off to Davante Adams. Rodgers ended up with two touchdown passes and 332 yards passing Thursday night.
Given their low point total, it's not surprising that Zombie Werewolves had several underperformers (five to be exact). Chris Boswell was the worst of them, scoring only 2 points.1 That's the fewest points that he's scored this year.
Carson Wentz was the main culprit in Alcoholnics' loss, managing -3 points. Wentz had a miserable three-interception day while watching the Eagles’ playoff hopes fade further away. His performance was also the worst of any player this season.
Adding to their problems, Alcoholnics' Defense/ST, the Chargers, was the worst at their position this week.
Coach Patrick jolle have made some poor lineup calls this week, but that's nothing new for one of the league's bottom-ranked coaches. They went with Chris Boswell over the higher ranked Matt Bryant.
This decision took a 15 point chunk out of Zombie Werewolves' final score, and makes it back-to-back weeks now where Coach Jolle have cost their team points.
Next week will see Zombie Werewolves taking on the 6 - 5 Homesick Abortions. The game will pit the two teams with the most lucky wins against each other.
As for Alcoholnics, Coach Nick Claeboe is probably happy with how his team has played this season, but he has to be concerned about his team's recent performance. Alcoholnics have now lost their last two games. Coach Claeboe will have to hope things turn around in next week's matchup with SkinFan.
Week 11 · Nov 20, 2018 01:15 pm ET
Bye Now
Coach William Hayes may have forgotten what it was like to win after losing three straight. Pinko Commie Bastards were friendly enough to remind him. Big Tex's Pillow Biters beat Pinko Commie Bastards Like a drum, winning 93 to 49. Just another good result from the leagues' all-time leader in winning percentage.
Big Tex's Pillow Biters now have the best record in the league at 8 - 3. The loss drops Pinko Commie Bastards to the last spot in the East Side division at 3 - 8.
Saquon Barkley separated himself from the rest of the crew on Big Tex's Pillow Biters, recording 25 points. No other running back scored more points than that this week. He finished the day with 142 rushing yards and three touchdowns - two on the ground and this one in the air to start the Giants’ day off right.
Big Tex's Pillow Biters also got a better-than-expected performance from Jordan Reed, who beat his projections by 6.2 points. Reed's performance this week ended a six game streak of failing to hit his projections. The only real bad apple in Big Tex's Pillow Biters' orchard this week was Matt Ryan, who scored 8 points.
Meanwhile, while balance might be good for gymnasts, it didn't help Pinko Commie Bastards this week. Odell Beckham topped the wide receiver average by 2.4 points to lead the team, while Eric Ebron fell only 4.6 points short of the average TE in bringing up the rear. Ebron's zero point performance made him the worst performer on Pinko Commie Bastards for the first time this year. He followed up his huge three touchdown performance with zero targets Sunday.
The schedule for Pinko Commie Bastards brings DenBro around next week. DenBro lost this week, and will be looking to avoid their first back-to-back losses. Meanwhile, Big Tex's Pillow Biters will take on Black Micahs next week.
Week 11 · Nov 20, 2018 01:15 pm ET
Taking the Reins
Homesick Abortions walked away with a nice 85 to 71 win this week against Black Micahs. With the win, Homesick Abortions have now won three out of their last four games, bringing their record to 6 - 5. The loss drops Black Micahs' record to an identical 6 - 5.
Two of the key players in this fight were real life teammates, as Homesick Abortions' Aaron Jones squared off against Jimmy Graham. While they were on the same team, they sure didn't deliver the same result. Aaron Jones did great for Homesick Abortions, producing 17 points. Jones has become something of a lodestar for Homesick Abortions, as they have never lost when he overperforms his expectations, going 3 - 0.
On the flip side, Jimmy Graham was not having a typical Jimmy Graham week, putting up zero points. Graham caught only one ball for 13 yards before being knocked out of Thursday’s game with a broken thumb.
The other players on Homesick Abortions had Jones' back, coming up with 68 points. Of that crew, Mark Ingram led the way with 17 points. Ingram wasn’t the only Saint to find the endzone but he was the only one to get there twice, getting there untouched on a 14-yard rush and on this 1-yard dive over the goal line.
On the coaching front, both sides made mistakes this week. Coach Chris Crowder might have had a little too much fun last week, as he didn't set his team's lineup. He left Cooper Kupp in the game, despite the fact that he was a guaranteed zero points.
That cost his team 13 points, which he was able to get away with this week. Coach Crowder's decisions have made him the worst tactician in the league this season, costing his team 42 points.
In addition to the loss, Coach Micah Russell didn't exactly bolster their 'Coach of the Year' campaign. They started Jake Elliott instead of Matt Prater, despite the experts' prediction that Prater should have played.
This decision shaved 9 points from Black Micahs' score, which ultimately didn't make a difference in the final outcome. Coach Russell's lineup moves pushed them into negative territory for the season, costing their team 5 points versus what the experts would have done.
Coach Crowder should be on the lookout for four leaf clovers during the next game. Homesick Abortions will face Zombie Werewolves in a matchup of the two teams with the most lucky wins so far. The matchup will also feature the worst gameday coaches in the league, which might lead to some less-than-optimal lineups.
As for Black Micahs, they will square off against Big Tex's Pillow Biters. Black Micahs will have to play without Patrick Mahomes, who has a bye week next week.
Week 11 · Nov 20, 2018 01:15 pm ET
Dialed In
DenBro couldn't handle Ka'imi Fairbairn as Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum gets the win
Sometimes you eat the bar, and sometimes the bar eats you. After scoring their highest point total for the year last week, DenBro scored their lowest total this week. They got beat by Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum, 61 to 47. DenBro beat Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum back in week five, so the turnabout this week was fair play.
The loss drops DenBro's record to 7 - 4, while the win brings Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum to 4 - 7.
Michael Thomas has been coming through for Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum all year, and this week was no different. Thomas joined up with Ka'imi Fairbairn and Greg Olsen to total 29 points. That makes it three straight games of overperforming expectations for Thomas.
Meanwhile, the loss for DenBro came down to a pretty simple factor: they didn't go anywhere. Collectively, they only managed to gain 302 yards rushing and receiving. That was the lowest yards gained total of any team this week. Sterling Shepard was clearly the weakest link for Coach Don Zimmerman and the gang as he posted 22 total yards.
The strength of schedule diverges for these squads next week. DenBro will face off against Pinko Commie Bastards next week. DenBro will get to face Pinko Commie Bastards while that squad is in the middle of a five game losing streak.
As for Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum, they will match up with The Brainers. Bad timing for Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum, as The Brainers will come into the matchup on a four game winning streak.
Week 12 · Nov 27, 2018 12:07 pm ET
I'll Have Another
Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum were projected to have the most points this week, but they uh...fell a little short. They were on the losing side of a blowout, falling 70 to 46 at the hands of The Brainers. The loss is part of bad trend for Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum, who have scored fewer points than the week before for three straight weeks now.
The win makes it five in a row for The Brainers, and gives them a record of 8 - 4. The loss drops Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum's record to 4 - 8.
Coach Chuck Rittenhouse's squad got off on the right foot early. They were powered by Ezekiel Elliott, who scored 13 points. Elliott has now overperformed the experts' predictions in three straight games.
Meanwhile, Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum decided the whole 'scoring points' thing was passe. The tag team of David Johnson and Michael Thomas was good for all of 4 points between them. Thomas' performance this week ended a three game streak of beating the experts' projections.
Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum were already facing fairly long odds going into the Sunday late games. Any hope they had left evaporated after James Conner scored only 2 points. A solid performance for Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum by Ka'imi Fairbairn on Monday night was not nearly enough for a comeback.
These teams will see a difference in the quality of their upcoming opponents. Next week, Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum will take on the 3 - 9 Pinko Commie Bastards. Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum might be feeling pretty confident about that game, as Pinko Commie Bastards limps in on a six game losing streak.
The scoreboard operator might be kept busy when The Brainers and DenBro, the two highest scoring teams in the league, face off next week. In addition, DenBro posted a cool 108 points this week.
Week 12 · Nov 27, 2018 12:07 pm ET
All Eyes on Me
Christian McCaffrey did about as good for DenBro this week as he did bad last week. McCaffrey led the way as DenBro stomped all over Pinko Commie Bastards 108 to 83. His 23 points topped all but one player this week. His 237 yards from scrimmage set a franchise record and delivered highlights like this quick touchdown through the air and a monster 60-yard rush in the fourth quarter.
Coach Don Zimmerman also got 10 points out of Zach Ertz, who the experts thought should not have made the starting lineup.
Meanwhile, Coach Erran Yearty will have a hard time pinning the blame for this loss on any particular player. Pinko Commie Bastards were brought down by four underperformers, the worst of whom was Odell Beckham (4 points). Beckham has now been the worst starter on his team two times this season.
Adding injury to insult, Pinko Commie Bastards had a key player go down. Melvin Gordon scored two touchdowns on 61 rushing yards before leaving the game in the third quarter with a Grade 2 MCL sprain in his right knee. He’s expected to miss at least several weeks.
The win was DenBro's 3rd in their last four games, bringing their record to 8 - 4. The loss leaves Pinko Commie Bastards now with the worst record in the league at 3 - 9.
Next week will feature a mirror image matchup as the 8 - 4 DenBro will take on the 8 - 4 Brainers. There are likely to be some fireworks in that one, as it features the two highest scoring teams in the league. As for Pinko Commie Bastards, they will square off against Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum.
Week 12 · Nov 27, 2018 12:07 pm ET
One Sided Affair
This game was expected to be close. SkinFan found those expectations insulting. They destroyed Alcoholnics, winning 100 to 76. SkinFan have now scored 173 points over the last two weeks, which is quite a turnaround given that they were the 2nd lowest scoring team in the league at the beginning of that stretch.
Another defeat makes it three in a row for Alcoholnics, which leaves them with a 6 - 6 record. The win brings SkinFan to an identical 6 - 6.
The bulk of SkinFan's squad was playing before the end of the Sunday early games, and the early start time suited them real nice. The Ravens Defense/ST carried the water, scoring 17 points. Apparently, the Ravens must have felt bad after last week's 1 point effort.
SkinFan also got a solid effort from Leonard Fournette (7.4 points above expected). Fournette doubled his season touchdown total with two more on the ground, including a powerful run straight up the middle from five yards out, before being ejected from the game for fighting.
Meanwhile, Alcoholnics were having a so-so performance. They got a total of 7 points from James White and Alvin Kamara. Kamara's performance this week ended a four game streak of beating the league average.
SkinFan were already in good shape going into the Sunday late games. JuJu Smith-Schuster then officially ended the game, scoring 16 points. A solid performance for SkinFan by Stefon Diggs on Sunday night just made things uglier.
Next week, SkinFan will be playing Black Micahs. The contest will see Drew Brees taking on Patrick Mahomes in a battle between the top two quarterbacks in the league.
Meanwhile, Alcoholnics will collide with Homesick Abortions next week. That team will limp into the contest having posted only 44 points this week. Alcoholnics have now been the favorite in both their last two games, and failed to perform both times. The experts might not give them the benefit of the doubt in their next one (regardless of Homesick Abortions' issues).
Week 12 · Nov 27, 2018 12:07 pm ET
Bulls-eye!
Big Tex's Pillow Biters had the best record in the league coming into this game, but unfortunately for Coach William Hayes, the past was not prelude. Big Tex's Pillow Biters ended up pretty far behind in this one, losing 92 to 74 to Black Micahs.
Big Tex's Pillow Biters are now 8 - 4 after losing four out of their last five games. The win brings Black Micahs to 7 - 5.
Black Micahs had never lost when Nick Chubb overperformed his expectations, and that held true again this week. Although Black Micahs had plenty of players step up in the win, Chubb was the first among equals, racking up 18 points. His performance could be taken with a slight grain of salt given that it came against the Bengals, who have been the 3rd worst defense against running backs this season. He rushed for 84 yards and a touchdown but this 14-yard catch over the back of his defender for another touchdown was the highlight of a big win for the Browns.
David Njoku helped out as well, exceeding his projected point total by 5.2 points. Njoku scored 9 points, which is the most he's gotten this year.
Meanwhile, LeSean McCoy and the Steelers Defense/ST were both working off the same playbook this week, tallying only 2 points for Big Tex's Pillow Biters. As far as good performances for Big Tex's Pillow Biters, Amari Cooper stuck out with 22 points. That performance was the best of any player this week.1
Coach Micah Russell did their part in the victory, setting a perfect lineup. That took more than just following the experts' advice. They started the Patriots Defense/ST instead of the Packers Defense/ST, despite the experts' prediction that the Packers should have played. This decision gave Black Micahs a nice 6 point bonus.
Big Tex's Pillow Biters will be going against Zombie Werewolves next week. Coach Hayes is getting Zombie Werewolves at the right time, as they will limp into next week's game having posted less than 60 points each of the last two weeks. Meanwhile, Black Micahs will take on SkinFan.
Week 12 · Nov 27, 2018 12:07 pm ET
Wish Granted
Zombie Werewolves had lost both matches against Homesick Abortions last season, but finally got sweet revenge this week. Zombie Werewolves got the job done against Homesick Abortions, winning 54 to 44. Zombie Werewolves have now pulled off two lucky wins in a row, as they would have lost to eight other teams this week.
Zombie Werewolves got their first back-to-back wins of the season, bringing their record to 4 - 8. The loss drops Homesick Abortions' record to 6 - 6.
The Buccaneers Defense/ST was the key contributor for Zombie Werewolves, putting up 12 points.1 That gave them the most points on Zombie Werewolves for the first time this season.
Despite winning, Zombie Werewolves struggled to score points due to six underperforming players, of whom Jarvis Landry (1 point) was the worst.2 It's yet another disappointing day for Landry, who has now underperformed the experts' predictions in four straight games.
Meanwhile, Homesick Abortions suffered through poor performances from the Jaguars Defense/ST, Mark Ingram, and Kenny Stills, who collectively managed only 2 points. Ingram must have gotten tired from racking up 17 points last week.
Homesick Abortions also had to deal with a poor effort from Antonio Brown (6.4 points below expected). Brown's performances have been a good barometer for Homesick Abortions this season, as they have gone 1 - 3 when he fails to meet his expectations, and 5 - 2 when he meets them. Homesick Abortions only had one player who gave a passable performance this week, with Rob Gronkowski scoring 8 points.3
The schedule for Zombie Werewolves brings Big Tex's Pillow Biters around next week. Meanwhile, Homesick Abortions will be playing Alcoholnics.

No Threat
Coming into the game, Black Micahs had scored the second most points of any team over the last three weeks. They didn't knock it out of the park this week, but that wasn't necessary. Coach Micah Russell's team made it look easy against SkinFan, winning 66 to 47. No big surprise seeing Black Micahs get the win, as they were the biggest favorite of any team this week.
They improve to 8 - 5 after winning four out of their last five games. The loss drops SkinFan back below .500 at 6 - 7.
Black Micahs have been relying on Patrick Mahomes all year, and he came through again this week. Black Micahs relied heavily on Mahomes, who racked up 27 points. That was the most that any quarterback collected this week. He hasn't been messing around recently, performing better than any other starter over the last three weeks.
Meanwhile, Drew Brees had avoided having a bad day for SkinFan since week eight's 5 point performance, but he sure didn't have it this week. Brees and Carlos Hyde combined to record 4 points for SkinFan. Brees' performance this week definitively broke his four game streak of surpassing his projections. His 127 yards passing yards were his fewest since Week 8, when he also threw for a lone touchdown and an interception.
Coach Tim Fabrizio certainly can't blame the loss on Phillip Lindsay, who scored 20 points. Lindsay's two touchdowns and season-high 157 yards on the ground, including a 65-yard dash to the house, made the undrafted free agent just the eighth rookie in Broncos history to tally 1,000 scrimmage yards.
Next week will see Black Micahs taking on the 6 - 7 Homesick Abortions. The matchup will feature the two top WR's in the league, as Tyreek Hill meets up with Antonio Brown.
Meanwhile, SkinFan will collide with Pinko Commie Bastards next week. Good timing, as Pinko Commie Bastards will come into the matchup on a seven game losing streak.
Week 13 · Dec 04, 2018 12:10 pm ET
Showtime
Pinko Commie Bastards showed off the form that earned them the worst record in the league going into this week. They didn't even sniff the winner's podium, losing to Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum 72 to 47. Blowouts are par for the course for these teams these days. Pinko Commie Bastards has been involved in three straight blowout games, while this is the 2nd straight blowout game for Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum.
This loss brings Pinko Commie Bastards' losing streak to seven in a row, which gives them a 3 - 10 record. The win brings Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum to 5 - 8.
The rest of Coach Robert Wetzel's team were basically spectating, as Ka'imi Fairbairn, Russell Wilson, and James Conner combined for 83% of Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum's points. That makes it seven straight games of overperforming expectations for Wilson. He gave his home crowd plenty to cheer about, including this 52-yard deep ball to Tyler Lockett for the score, en route to his first four-touchdown game of the season on just 11 completions.
Meanwhile, this week's loss for Pinko Commie Bastards was a true group effort. They had six underperformers, with Tom Brady (9 points) being the worst.1 Bad performances are pretty common these days for Brady, who has now underperformed the experts' predictions in five straight games.
T.Y. Hilton falling 4.6 points short of his expectations didn't help matters much either. Pinko Commie Bastards has never won when Hilton failed to hit his expected points, going 0 - 6.
Next week will see Pinko Commie Bastards taking on the 6 - 7 SkinFan. That contest will be a rematch from week ten, when Pinko Commie Bastards lost, but only by 2 points.
As for Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum, they will match up with The Brainers. The Brainers will come into the game with some momentum, having posted back-to-back 70+ point games. The rematch will feature Travis Kelce this time, as he was unavailable for The Brainers during the last game.
Week 13 · Dec 04, 2018 12:10 pm ET
Three-peat
Zombie Werewolves came into the game on a three game streak of improving their point total, and kept it going this week. They earned a nice victory over Big Tex's Pillow Biters, winning 59 to 52.
The victory makes it three in a row for Zombie Werewolves, which brings their record to 5 - 8. The loss drops Big Tex's Pillow Biters' record to 8 - 5.
Zombie Werewolves had a three-man strike force with the Seahawks Defense/ST, Tarik Cohen, and Austin Hooper combining for 37 points. Cohen didn’t have a rushing or receiving touchdown, although he had 156 receiving yards and a one-yard passing touchdown on a successful trick play that sent the game to overtime.
Tevin Coleman provided the only truly sour note for Zombie Werewolves this week, as he scored zero points. Coleman averaged just 1.3 yards on his six carries against the Ravens defense.
Dak Prescott made his mark in his first start for Big Tex's Pillow Biters this week, but not in a good way. Prescott was the worst of five underperformers, tallying 8 points.1
Amari Cooper's 1 point performance didn't help matters much either. That was quite a falloff from last week, when he scored 22 points.
Next week, Zombie Werewolves will be playing DenBro. Zombie Werewolves will be attempting to give DenBro their first back-to-back losses.
As for Big Tex's Pillow Biters, Big Tex's Pillow Biters will try to get back to their winning ways as they have performed uncharacteristically bad of late, losing two games in a row. They will try to turn things around against Alcoholnics next week.
Week 13 · Dec 04, 2018 12:10 pm ET
Goin Streaking!
It's not that hard to win when you have the league's top performer for the week, and Travis Kelce was that player.1 Kelce was the key component as The Brainers ended up well ahead of DenBro, winning 71 to 58. His 18 point performance topped all but two tight ends this season. A good performance by Kelce has been critical for The Brainers this season, as they have gone 6 - 1 when he exceeds his expectations, and 2 - 3 when he doesn't.
The Brainers also got a better-than-expected performance from Keenan Allen, who beat his projections by 8.8 points. Allen let his defenders take each other out before snatching this deflection out of mid-air for a fortuitous touchdown catch.
Although they took the loss, DenBro got a big game from Todd Gurley. Gurley scored 19 points, which were good for 2nd place among all running backs this week. Unfortunately for DenBro, he was the only player on the whole team that had a legit good performance.
Coach Don Zimmerman can blame the loss on Emmanuel Sanders, Deshaun Watson, and Demaryius Thomas, who together scored only 11 points. Sanders' zero points made him the worst starter on his team for the 2nd time this season.
The Brainers have now finished off six straight opponents after this win, bringing their record to 9 - 4. The loss drops DenBro's record to 8 - 5.
The Brainers' next game will be against Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum in a rematch from week twelve. The Brainers won the previous matchup in a blowout. The game might seem more like a chess match as the league's best coaches will try to outsmart the other.
DenBro will try to cool off Zombie Werewolves next week. Zombie Werewolves are coming in hot, having won three games in a row. The game will be a rematch from week ten, when Zach Ertz went off for 19 points.
Week 13 · Dec 04, 2018 12:10 pm ET
Out of the Darkness
Coach Nick Claeboe may have forgotten what it was like to win after losing three straight. Homesick Abortions were friendly enough to remind him. Alcoholnics strolled past Homesick Abortions, winning 63 to 45.
The win gets Alcoholnics back above .500 at 7 - 6. The loss drops Homesick Abortions' record to 6 - 7.
Alcoholnics had a two man team in the Texans Defense/ST and Justin Tucker, who together came up with 54% of Alcoholnics' points. Tucker scored 17 points, which is the most he's gotten this year. He went four-for-four Sunday, hitting from 40-plus yards three separate times. Tucker hasn’t missed a field goal attempt since Week 5.
It wasn't all good news this week for Alcoholnics though. A.J. Green was carted off the field Sunday after injuring his right foot, perhaps aggravating the injury that kept him out of the Bengals’ previous three games.
Meanwhile, Mark Ingram and Cam Newton put a big hurt on Homesick Abortions' chances this week, scoring only 10 points between them. Ingram's 27 rushing yards on seven attempts were his fewest in the eight games he’s played in this year.
Aaron Jones has to share in some of the blame as well, coming up with 4.4 fewer points than he was expected to. Jones' performance this week ended a three game streak of beating the experts' projections.
Homesick Abortions did get some solace this week in the form of Antonio Brown, who came up with 13 points. No surprise there, as he is currently the 2nd best wide receiver in the league.
Alcoholnics will face off against Big Tex's Pillow Biters next week. This rematch from week six might not have the same result as last time, since Alvin Kamara will be available to play for Alcoholnics.
As for Homesick Abortions, they will square off against Black Micahs next week. Black Micahs will bring the league's top player, Patrick Mahomes, into the game.
Week 14 · Dec 11, 2018 04:21 pm ET
Trading Up
Coach William Hayes has had the most stable lineup in the league, but that consistency wasn't helpful this week. He left Chris Carson and Brett Maher on the bench in favor of LeSean McCoy and Harrison Butker, who were both expected to score less.
These decisions cost Big Tex's Pillow Biters a total of 14 points, which--thankfully for Coach Hayes--didn't matter much this game as they crushed Alcoholnics (7 - 7), winning 83 to 57.
Amari Cooper separated himself from the rest of the crew on Big Tex's Pillow Biters, producing 29 points. Cooper set the new high mark for all wide receivers this season with that performance.
Big Tex's Pillow Biters also got a big effort from Saquon Barkley (5.8 points above expected). Barkley recorded 170 rushing yards and a touchdown Sunday, thanks in large part to this 78-yard house call. The Giants rookie already has more than 1,100 rushing yards on the season.
Big Tex's Pillow Biters managed to win despite suffering a key injury. Jordan Reed limped off the field in the first quarter after getting his ankle rolled up on and did not return.
Coach Nick Claeboe will find no easy scapegoat for this week's loss. Justin Jackson was the worst of a six man group of underperformers on Alcoholnics, putting up only 1 point. Jackson's bad day looks even worse in light of the fact that he was going up against the Bengals, who have been the worst defense against running backs this season. Another underperformer, Alcoholnics' defense (the Chargers), were the worst at their position this week.
Week 14 · Dec 11, 2018 04:21 pm ET
Climb Aboard
After losing seven straight games, Coach Erran Yearty's squad figured: 'why not another?' Pinko Commie Bastards lost to SkinFan, 65 to 59. Tough luck loss for Pinko Commie Bastards, who would have won against six other teams this week.
The win brings SkinFan back to even at 7 - 7. The loss drops Pinko Commie Bastards' record to 3 - 11.
JuJu Smith-Schuster was the clear leader on SkinFan this week, totaling 18 points. That's the most points that he's scored this year.
In addition to Smith-Schuster, SkinFan also got nice games from Cameron Brate and Phillip Lindsay. Brate shrugged off blatant pass interference to bring in this 11-yard touchdown grab, his first of two for his first multi-touchdown game of the season.
Meanwhile, Coach Yearty can look to Dan Bailey and Sony Michel when passing out blame for the loss. The two combined to score only 3 points. Bailey scored 1 point, which was the fewest of any kicker this week, and marks the 6th straight game that he has failed to surpass the league average kicker.
Despite the loss, Pinko Commie Bastards had three standouts, with Tom Brady, Eric Ebron, and T.Y. Hilton totaling 40 points. That's a big turnaround for Brady, who last week scored 9 points.
Week 14 · Dec 11, 2018 04:21 pm ET
More than Enough
Black Micahs (9 - 5) didn't have too many spare points in their win against Homesick Abortions (6 - 8), taking this one 60 to 56. Black Micahs were able to give Homesick Abortions some payback for their week eleven matchup, when Black Micahs lost 85 to 71.
Both squads keep their momentum (or in the case of Homesick Abortions, "momentum") going as a result of this match. Black Micahs have now won three games in a row. The defeat is the 3rd in a row for Homesick Abortions.
Davante Adams led a very balanced group of four overperformers for Black Micahs this week, dropping 10 points.1 That's all in a day's work for the 2nd best wide receiver in the league. A good performance by Adams has been crucial for Black Micahs all year, as they have gone 7 - 2 when he exceeds expectations, and 1 - 3 when he doesn't.
Black Micahs got the win despite leaving the Lions Defense/ST and their 16 points on the bench. The Lions did better than any player actually in Black Micahs' starting lineup this week.
Antonio Brown has been clutch for Homesick Abortions this year, but failed to show up this week. Brown was part of a three man group of troublemakers, teaming up with Kirk Cousins and Brandon McManus to notch 10 points. Brown's 1 point was the fewest he has scored this year. He nearly found the endzone in the second quarter but finished the day with just 35 yards on five catches.
Week 14 · Dec 11, 2018 04:21 pm ET
Fortune's Friend
Zombie Werewolves entered this week's game with a three game winning streak, but couldn't keep it going against DenBro. DenBro ended up on top against Zombie Werewolves, winning 48 to 38. Big time luck for DenBro in this contest, as they would have lost against all but one other team.
The loss drops Zombie Werewolves to 5 - 9, and sinks them to the bottom of our internal power rankings. The win brings DenBro to 9 - 5.
DenBro, who were favored to win the game, had a decent start during the early Sunday games. Christian McCaffrey led the way, scoring 16 points. McCaffrey sauntered into the endzone on one of the easier four-yard touchdown runs you’ll see, his first of two scores on the day to extend his six-game streak of gaining at least 100 yards from scrimmage.
Meanwhile, Coach Patrick jolle's squad was taking a collective personal day. Tevin Coleman and Austin Hooper both did poorly, together coming up with only 3 points. Underperforming is the new normal for Coleman, who has gone five straight games without hitting his projected point total.
Going into the Sunday late games, Zombie Werewolves were already a fairly long shot to win. After several players, including Courtland Sutton, dropped essentially no fantasy points it was all she wrote. A solid performance for Zombie Werewolves by the Seahawks Defense/ST on Monday night was not nearly enough for a comeback.
Week 14 · Dec 11, 2018 04:21 pm ET
On a Tear
The Brainers started week fourteen with the best record in the league, and finished week fourteen with the best record in the league. They demolished Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum, winning 57 to 38. Blowouts are nothing new to Coach Chuck Rittenhouse, since The Brainers has been involved in the most blowout games of anybody in league so far.
The win brings The Brainers' winning streak to seven games, giving them a record of 10 - 4. The loss drops Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum's record to 5 - 9.
The Brainers won with a balanced effort, as four players outperformed their positional averages. Travis Kelce was just a bit ahead of the others, racking up 9 points.1 No surprise there, as he is currently the best tight end in the league. He runs routes like a wide receiver and catches touchdowns at an All-Pro pace, both on full display on this 15-yard pass for the score.
Coach Rittenhouse's squad overcame bad performances from three players: Brandin Cooks, Gus Edwards, and the Cowboys Defense/ST, who collectively came up with 8 points. Edwards is in the midst of a troubling sequence, having seen his point total fall every week for the last three weeks.
Meanwhile, Russell Wilson stuck out as the worst performer for Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum, scoring only 4 points.2 That performance was worse than every other player this week.3
Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum also had to deal with a poor effort from Ka'imi Fairbairn (8.2 points below expected). Fairbairn's performance this week broke his three game streak of surpassing his projections.
Week 15 · Dec 18, 2018 12:19 pm ET
Week 15 · Dec 18, 2018 12:19 pm ET
Week 16 · Dec 25, 2018 05:06 pm ET
CBS Season Recap · Jan 04, 2019 06:00 pm ET
A Year in Review
When it is all said and done, Coach William Hayes will have the bragging rights for this entire offseason. Big Tex's Pillow Biters finished off 2018 with a 77 to 71 victory over Black Micahs, giving them an 11 - 5 final record. Their good standing can be attributed, in part, to their running backs, who ranked 2nd in the league.
When it came to running backs however, nobody had a better group than DenBro, who got 24.93 points per game out of the position. Todd Gurley was the key member of that stalwart corps, scoring 208 points for DenBro this season. Meanwhile, Coach Patrick jolle could only dream about good running back play this year, as Zombie Werewolves' running backs were the worst in the league, coming up with only 8.64 points per game.
While The Brainers didn't win that positional battle or the overall crown, Coach Chuck Rittenhouse did earn a nice consolation prize: the award for best coaching this season. His lineup moves were 68 points better than the experts this season, which was the best mark in the league. That was 122 points better than Coach Chris Crowder, who was the worst coach in the league. He ended up costing his team the game in week 14 with his lineup decisions, which were 11 points worse than the experts that week.
Coach Erran Yearty did a good job coaching this year, but unfortunately it didn't matter. Pinko Commie Bastards wound up at 3 - 11, good for the worst record in the league. Pinko Commie Bastards were let down by Sony Michel, Lamar Miller, and Tom Brady, who collectively finished 62.5 points below their positional averages while in the starting lineup.
