Season Summary
The 2021 season reads like one complete chapter in the CBS era. It ended with Zombie Werewolves holding the title for Patrick Jolle. The regular season was set by Zombie Werewolves, which went 8-6 with 873.0 points for in a 10-team field.
The division map mattered. GNG does not treat the standings as a simple top-six sprint: the East Side and West Side each send their own top three, so a manager has to survive his side of the league before worrying about the full table. Big Tex's Pillow Biters led West Side at 9-5, with SkinFan sitting on the cut line; The Brainers led East Side at 9-5, with Alcoholnics sitting on the cut line.
The weekly results give the year its pulse. The Brainers was the scoring heavyweight at 1,025.0 points for, a reminder that raw power and the final standings do not always tell the same story. Across 75 scored games over 17 weeks, the biggest combined score was Week 5, Zombie Werewolves vs The Brainers at 221.0 combined points (105.0-116.0). The closest finish was Week 3, DenBro over Homesick Abortions, 61.0-60.0 by 1.0. The widest gap was Week 12, Big Tex's Pillow Biters over The Brainers, 106.0-43.0 by 63.0. The playoffs added 5 bracket games across 3 rounds, ending with Zombie Werewolves over Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum in the final, with 73 game recaps adding color, led by "Amari Cooper helps Pinko Commie Bastards cruise to victory".
Draft night left a trail of 150 picks across 10 teams and 15 rounds. 8 marked selections hint at the keeper pressure around roster building. 0 confirmed keepers and 8 still-debated keeper candidates shaped the roster memory for the year. Those roster choices are where the season starts to feel personal: the held-over stars, the missed bets, and the managers who had to live with both.
The CBS Year in Review added another angle: 1. The Brainers' 116 - 105 win over Zombie Werewolves in week 5 This game started a magical run for The Brainers, as it was just the beginning of a 7-game win streak. The streak started with all the fireworks of the highest scoring game of the season. Its feature image framed the year as "Tom Brady made sure that The Brainers came out on top in the biggest game of the year."
The message board gives the season its voice. The busiest thread was "It's payout week." from Pinko Commie Bastards - Erran Yearty, drawing 3 comments. The recurring pressure points were draft strategy and roster building and money and payout logistics. Other season markers include "Next Year Draft".
Taken together, the title race, the week-to-week swings, the roster choices, and the board chatter turn the season into more than a list of standings. It is a memory map for the managers who lived through it.

Dak Attack!
Dak Prescott scores 27 points to help put away Big Tex's Pillow Biters
Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum walked away with a nice 91 to 80 win this week against Big Tex's Pillow Biters. The 91 points that Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum dropped were the most they scored this year.
The defeat puts Big Tex's Pillow Biters on a three game losing streak, and puts their record at 9 - 6. The win brings Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum to 10 - 6.
Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum had never lost when Dak Prescott overperformed his expectations, and that held true again this week. Dak teamed up with Joe Mixon to post 45 points. Prescott's performance this week stopped his three game streak of not meeting his projections. He had more touchdowns in this game (4) than he had in his previous three games combined.
Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum also got the highest score out of any kicker this week courtesy of Ryan Succop, who delivered 16 points. The only real damper on Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum's victory came from Russell Gage, who scored -1 points.
Meanwhile, Coach William Hayes can blame the loss on Adam Thielen, the Bills Defense/ST, and Darrel Williams, who together scored only 10 points. Coach Hayes has to be used to bad scores from Thielen, who has been the worst performer on Big Tex's Pillow Biters more times than any other player.
In almost any other game, Big Tex's Pillow Biters' five overperforming players (led by Davante Adams, 17 points) would have brought home a win.1 Adams' 17 point performance this week moves him up to being the 3rd best wide receiver in the league this season.
Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum wasn't just winning on the field, but also chalked up a win in the front office. Coach Robert Wetzel took a flier on Justin Jackson and saw him put up a very promising 17 points.

Five Alive!
Sony Michel and Zombie Werewolves stay hot against The Brainers
Zombie Werewolves put away The Brainers this week 55 to 49. Zombie Werewolves were able to give The Brainers some payback for their week eleven matchup, when The Brainers crushed Zombie Werewolves 102 to 59.
That's five straight wins for Zombie Werewolves, for those of you counting, bringing their record to 10 - 6. The loss drops The Brainers' record to 9 - 6.
Zombie Werewolves had several players step up in the win, as four starters beat their positional averages. Sony Michel was just a bit ahead of the others, dropping 12 points. That gave him the most points on Zombie Werewolves for the first time this season.
Coach Patrick jolle's squad won despite bad games from Justin Herbert and Rob Gronkowski, who together notched 10 points. Herbert's performance this week ended a three game streak of beating the experts' projections.
The Brainers are bound to have a hard time winning when Tom Brady has a bad week, and that's just what happened. TB12 was the worst of six underperformers, delivering 9 points.1 Coach Chuck Rittenhouse has to be used to bad scores from Brady, who has been the worst performer on The Brainers more times than any other player.
The Brainers also had to deal with a poor effort from the Seahawks Defense/ST (5.6 points below expected). That makes it three straight games where the Seahawks have underperformed the league average Defense/ST.

2021 Champs!
Rashaad Penny and Zombie Werewolves win it all
After an exciting season, the league now has its champion. Zombie Werewolves wound up with a solid victory margin against Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum, winning 81 to 71.
Zombie Werewolves ended their triumphant season at 11 - 6. Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum will close their 2021 campaign at 10 - 7.
Coach Patrick jolle picked up Rashaad Penny off the waiver wire this week and he paid immediate dividends. Penny made it rain for Zombie Werewolves, tallying 20 points. That was the most of any running back this week. He had 144 yards and 2 TDs, and that was just in the first half.
In addition to Penny, Zombie Werewolves got five other good efforts, including 15 points from the Saints Defense/ST.
Meanwhile, Nick Chubb and Michael Pittman were quite coordinated in their failures for Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum. They each totaled only 2 points. Pittman has now failed to top the league average wide receiver in seven straight games.
The four overperformers on Coach Robert Wetzel's squad did their part to balance things out (and then some). DK Metcalf was the best of them, scoring 21 points. That's the most points that he's scored this year.
Coach Wetzel have made more lineup changes than any other coach in the league, but couldn't find the right mix this week. They left Darnell Mooney and Russell Wilson on the bench in favor of Michael Pittman and Dak Prescott, who were both expected to score less.
These decisions took a 12 point chunk out of Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum's final score, which cost them the game. Coach Wetzel's lineup moves alsopushed them into negative territory for the season, costing their team 10 points versus what the experts would have done.

Amari Cooper helps Pinko Commie Bastards cruise to victory
Pinko Commie Bastards finished last season with the best record and just kept on rolling this week. They demolished Big Tex's Pillow Biters, winning 66 to 34. Pinko Commie Bastards won despite being projected to lose by more points than any other team (3 point underdog).
Pinko Commie Bastards were led by the two man wrecking crew of Amari Cooper and Jalen Hurts, who combined for 62% of Pinko Commie Bastards' points. Cooper led all wide receivers with 16 targets this week, helping him get a league-leading 13 receptions.
Answer- this quarterback was the biggest bust in week one. Question- Who is Aaron Rodgers? Rodgers stuck out as the worst performer for Big Tex's Pillow Biters, scoring -2 points. He fell farther short of his expected points than any other player this week.
Adding to their problems, Big Tex's Pillow Biters' Defense/ST, the Bills, was the worst at their position.
Next week will see Pinko Commie Bastards taking on the 1 - 0 Alcoholnics. Meanwhile, Big Tex's Pillow Biters will be playing Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum.

Working It
Patrick Mahomes drops 28 points in leading Black Micahs to victory
We projected Black Micahs to be near the top of the pack this season when it comes to wide receivers, and they made us look good this week. Black Micahs used sticky hands to power themselves to a 87 to 84 victory over The Brainers. Tyreek Hill and DeAndre Hopkins both kicked in 16 points. Hill had a couple of yards of separation to the left of the defender on this play, and that's all he needed to go 75 yards to the house.
Black Micahs also got a big effort from Patrick Mahomes (11.6 points above expected). Showtime's 28 points were the 3rd most of any player this week.
Meanwhile, Coach Chuck Rittenhouse can look to Najee Harris and the Patriots Defense/ST when passing out blame for the loss. The two combined to score only 8 points. Harris' performance wasn't exactly what Coach Rittenhouse was looking for when he drafted Harris in the first round.
In most other games, The Brainers' six overperforming players (led by Travis Kelce, 15 points) would have brought home a win.1 Kelce's 15 point performance topped all but one tight end this week.
Next week, The Brainers will take on the 0 - 1 Homesick Abortions. The game might be quite the strategic battle, as it will feature the two best gameday coaches from this week. Meanwhile, Black Micahs will take on Zombie Werewolves.

Hidden Talent
Josh Jacobs (13 points) watches Alcoholnics win from the bench
Alcoholnics took on Zombie Werewolves two times last year and won each time. The result this week then, was not surprising. Alcoholnics got past Zombie Werewolves, winning 56 to 50. Alcoholnics won despite having the 4th lowest scoring total in the league this week.
Three players (Alvin Kamara, Justin Tucker, and Chris Godwin) delivered victory to Alcoholnics, getting 30 of their team's 56 points. Alcoholnics would have won by a more comfortable margin if Coach Nick Claeboe had put Josh Jacobs (13 points) in the lineup. Jacobs did better than any player actually in Alcoholnics' starting lineup this week.
Meanwhile, Zombie Werewolves had many underperformers, but Justin Herbert stood out, scoring only 7 points.1 Zombie Werewolves also had to deal with a poor effort from Derrick Henry (8.8 points below expected).
Next week will see Zombie Werewolves taking on the 1 - 0 Black Micahs. Black Micahs might present a challenge, having posted the highest score this week. Meanwhile, Alcoholnics will collide with Pinko Commie Bastards.

No Worries
Nick Chubb leaves DenBro in the rear view mirror
This game was expected to be close. Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum found those expectations insulting. They made it look easy against DenBro, winning 84 to 47. That 37 point margin was the biggest gap between any two teams this week.
Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum were a picture of symmetry, winning with a very balanced lineup. Nick Chubb paced the team by beating the average running back by 7.3 points, while Chase Claypool (3.9 points worse than the average wide receiver) was the worst on the team. Chubb's 14 points were the most that any running back collected this week.
Meanwhile, Coach Don Zimmerman can blame the loss on Cairo Santos, Josh Allen, and Raheem Mostert, who together managed only 13 points. Santos scored 2 points, which were fewer than every other kicker this week. DenBro only had one player who gave a passable performance this week, with Christian McCaffrey scoring 8 points.1
On the coaching front, Coach Robert Wetzel followed the experts' advice for each position and ended up with a perfect lineup. They were the only coach this week to pull that off.
These teams will see a difference in the quality of their upcoming opponents. The schedule for Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum brings Big Tex's Pillow Biters around next week. Big Tex's Pillow Biters not only lost this week, but scored fewer points than any other team.
As for DenBro, they will square off against SkinFan. SkinFan will bring the league's top player this week, Kyler Murray, into the game.
Week 1 · Sep 14, 2021 02:00 pm ET
Smooth Operator
Coach Fabrizio and Kyler Murray secure the win
Forget the teams, it's Coach Tim Fabrizio that are the big winner this week. They started T.J. Hockenson and Myles Gaskin instead of Logan Thomas and Saquon Barkley, despite expert advice to do the exact opposite.
These decisions netted Coach Fabrizio an extra 7 points and were the difference in the game, as SkinFan slid by Homesick Abortions, winning 72 to 68.
It's not that hard to win when you have the league's top performer for the week, and Kyler Murray was that player. Murray was the key contributor for SkinFan, recording 30 points. He looked like Tecmo Bowl Bo Jackson on this play before throwing an on-the-money pass.
T.J. Hockenson helped out as well, exceeding his projected point total by 8.2 points.
Meanwhile, the loss for Homesick Abortions came down to a pretty simple factor: they didn't go anywhere. Collectively, they only managed to gain 290 yards rushing and receiving. That was the lowest yards gained total of any team this week. Aaron Jones and Robert Tonyan were double trouble in that category for Homesick Abortions, together posting only 30 total yards.
SkinFan will be going against DenBro next week. As for Homesick Abortions, they will match up with The Brainers.

Yep, That's It
Dak Prescott nets only 2 points in loss to Big Tex's Pillow Biters
Last year's playoff loss at the hands of Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum might still be ringing in Coach William Hayes' ears, but he got some measure of revenge this week. Big Tex's Pillow Biters perfectly destroyed Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum, winning 88 to 33. That makes it back-to-back blowout games for both of these teams.
The game evens up both teams' records at 1 - 1.
The Bills Defense/ST were probably in Coach Hayes' doghouse after last week's 2 point 'performance'. They might be let out now. Although Big Tex's Pillow Biters won with a balanced effort, The Bills was the best of the bunch, delivering 20 points.1 No other Defense/ST scored more points than that this week.
Big Tex's Pillow Biters also got a better-than-expected performance from Aaron Rodgers, who beat his projections by 7.3 points. Rodgers left no doubt that he's still got it with throws like this amazing deep ball in the third quarter. Big Tex's Pillow Biters only had one underperfoming player, with Mark Andrews scoring only 2 points.
Meanwhile, Dak Prescott was the main culprit in Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum's loss, scoring only 2 points.2 That performance was the worst of any player this week.3 He was joined by six other underperformers, including Gerald Everett, who scored exactly zero points.
Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum only had one player who gave a passable performance this week, with Nick Chubb scoring 10 points.
On the coaching front, the difference in tactical skill showed this week. Coach Hayes did his part in the victory, setting a perfect lineup. That took more than just following the experts' advice. He went with the Bills Defense/ST over the higher ranked the Cardinals Defense/ST.
This decision boosted Big Tex's Pillow Biters' final score by 19 points, which only added to Big Tex's Pillow Biters' domination. Coach Hayes' perfect lineup was the only one set this week.
Coach Robert Wetzel's lineup matched the poor performance of their team. They left Baker Mayfield and Dallas Goedert on the bench in favor of Dak Prescott and Gerald Everett, who were both expected to score less.
These decisions cost Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum a total of 12 points. It also made Coach Wetzel the worst performing gameday coach this week.
Big Tex's Pillow Biters will face off against SkinFan next week. Meanwhile, Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum will take on Black Micahs.

Follow the Leader
Kyler Murray helps deliver a win for SkinFan
SkinFan didn't have too much trouble with DenBro this week, winning 72 to 54. The win brings SkinFan's record to 2 - 0, while dropping DenBro to 0 - 2.
SkinFan got a nice group performance in the win, as four players beat their positional averages. Kyler Murray was the first among equals, notching 27 points. That was the 2nd most of any quarterback this week.
SkinFan also got a big effort from Mike Evans (8.4 points above expected). Evans made things look easy on this simple endzone fade route. SkinFan won despite bad games from Jason Sanders, Myles Gaskin, and the Football Team Defense/ST, who together posted 6 points.
Meanwhile, while balance might be good for gymnasts, it didn't help DenBro this week. Christian McCaffrey topped the running back average by 5.2 points to lead the team, while Josh Allen fell only 4.8 points short of the average QB in bringing up the rear.
DenBro will be going against Homesick Abortions next week. Homesick Abortions have been the highest scoring team so far this year. Meanwhile, SkinFan will collide with Big Tex's Pillow Biters.
Week 2 · Sep 21, 2021 01:16 pm ET
Bring the Pain
30 points from Derrick Henry helps give Zombie Werewolves the win
Zombie Werewolves had the good fortune of having the league's best player this week in Derrick Henry. King Henry was the key component as Zombie Werewolves had just enough against Black Micahs, winning 61 to 56. He ran 60 yards for this touchdown, one of three he picked up in the 2nd half at Seattle.
Zombie Werewolves also got the highest score out of any tight end this week courtesy of Rob Gronkowski, who dropped 13 points. Zombie Werewolves got the win despite leaving Daniel Carlson and his 17 points on the bench. Carlson's performance this week was better than every other bench-rider in the league.
Meanwhile, Coach Micah Russell will have a hard time pinning the blame for this loss on any particular player. Black Micahs had five underperformers, with Tyreek Hill (zero points) being the worst. Kareem Hunt falling 5 points short of his expectations didn't help matters much either.
The game leaves both teams squared up at one win and one loss.
Zombie Werewolves will try to make it two in a row versus Pinko Commie Bastards next week. Pinko Commie Bastards have scored the fewest points so far this year. As for Black Micahs, they will match up with Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum.
Week 2 · Sep 21, 2021 01:16 pm ET
Smooth Sailing
Lamar Jackson has 22 points in blowout win over Pinko Commie Bastards
Alcoholnics took Pinko Commie Bastards out of the playoffs last year, and went ahead and rubbed some salt in that wound this week. They crushed Pinko Commie Bastards, winning 58 to 33. The win brings Alcoholnics' record to 2 - 0, while dropping Pinko Commie Bastards to 1 - 1.
Alcoholnics had three players lead the way, with Lamar Jackson, Chris Godwin, and Noah Fant delivering 38 points. Jackson became the first quarterback to ever throw 200+ yards, rush for 100+ yards, and rush for 2 TDs in a regular season game, and put a heck of an exclamation point on his second rushing TD.
Meanwhile, this week's loss for Pinko Commie Bastards was a true group effort. DeVonta Smith was the worst of a seven man group of underperformers, dropping zero points. Smith might be heading back to the waiver wire after getting picked up before this game.
Pinko Commie Bastards also had to deal with a bad performance from Amari Cooper, who scored only 1 point. That was quite a falloff from last week, when he scored 18 points.
A key injury will make this loss for Pinko Commie Bastards sting even more. Tua Tagovailoa was crushed on this play which knocked him out of the game with bruised ribs.
Next week, Alcoholnics will take on the 0 - 2 Brainers. The Brainers will come into next week having gone over 75 points in both of their games. As for Pinko Commie Bastards, they will square off against Zombie Werewolves.

All Eyes on Me
Aaron Jones' 29 points sinks The Brainers
Homesick Abortions came into the game as the biggest underdog this week, but they didn't let that get them down. They strolled past The Brainers, winning 106 to 90. The 106 points Homesick Abortions scored set the high mark for the league this week.
The win brings Homesick Abortions back to even at 1 - 1. The loss drops The Brainers' record to 0 - 2.
Coach Chris Crowder used his first pick on Aaron Jones, and Jones came through. Homesick Abortions relied heavily on Jones, who posted 29 points. That was good for 2nd place among all players this week. Quite an improvement from last week, when he scored no points.
Homesick Abortions also got a good performance from Cooper Kupp, who scored 20 points. Kupp was the definition of 'OPEN' on this all-too-easy score.
Meanwhile, two players stood out for their poor performance on The Brainers, with wide receivers Robert Woods and CeeDee Lamb combining to score only 7 points. The six overperformers on Coach Chuck Rittenhouse's squad did their part to balance things out (and then some). Tom Brady was the best of them, scoring 28 points. That topped all quarterbacks this week.
Next week, Homesick Abortions will be playing DenBro. DenBro will come into next week having failed to break the 55 point mark yet. Meanwhile, The Brainers will be playing Alcoholnics.

Cya!
SkinFan had no chance as Ezekiel Elliott got the job done
The experts predicted this would be a close game. The experts were wrong...big time. Big Tex's Pillow Biters destroyed SkinFan, winning 88 to 57. Just another good result from the leagues' all-time leader in winning percentage.
The win brings Big Tex's Pillow Biters' record to 2 - 1, while dropping SkinFan to a matching 2 - 1.
Big Tex's Pillow Biters had all (well, most) hands on deck in this win, with six players beating their positional averages. Ezekiel Elliott was the best of the bunch, racking up 17 points. That was the most that any running back collected this week. Big Tex's Pillow Biters also got the benefit of the 3rd straight game that Adam Thielen exceeded his expectations.
The game would have been an even bigger blowout if Big Tex's Pillow Biters had the Cardinals Defense/ST and their 18 points in the starting lineup. No other player riding the pine did better this week.
Kyler Murray was expected to be the best QB, but ended up being the worst. Murray was the worst of five underperformers, scoring 10 points.1 His momentum from last week's 27 point performance apparently didn't carry over.
Michael Carter added to SkinFan's troubles, scoring only 1 point. Carter has now failed to exceed the average running back's point total in any week this year.
Next week, Big Tex's Pillow Biters will be playing DenBro. As for SkinFan, they will square off against Zombie Werewolves.

Just Get Out of the Way
Mike Williams helps give Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum an easy win this week
'The thrill is gone'--at least when it comes to Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum's recent games. The previous two games were blowouts, and this week's action was no different. Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum gave Black Micahs a 68 to 33 drubbing. No other team dominated the opposition so completely this week.
The win brings Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum's record to 2 - 1, while dropping Black Micahs to 1 - 2.
Mike Williams separated himself from the rest of the crew on Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum, tallying 20 points. That performance was good for 2nd place among all players this week.1 He has also now exceeded his points expectations in every game so far this year.
Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum also got a better-than-expected performance from DK Metcalf, who beat his projections by 4.6 points. Metcalf put Patrick Peterson on skates with this ultra-crisp cut that almost ended up as a TD.
Meanwhile, it will be difficult for Coach Micah Russell to fault any one player for the loss. Black Micahs had seven underperformers, with the Buccaneers Defense/ST (1 point) being the worst.2 The Buccaneers' 1 point performance was worse than every other Defense/ST this season. They hopefully have some credit left over from last week's 17 point performance.
Black Micahs only had one player who gave a passable performance this week, with Patrick Mahomes scoring 18 points.
Coach Russell's lineup wasn't any better than their players this week. They started Mike Davis, the Buccaneers Defense/ST, and Sony Michel despite the fact that every one of them was supposed to be outscored by someone on the bench.
Somehow, each of these decisions ended up being the wrong call. They shaved 27 points from Black Micahs' score, which--thankfully for Coach Russell--didn't matter much this game. However, it did make Coach Russell the worst performing gameday coach this week.
The schedule for Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum brings Homesick Abortions around next week, who have been the highest scoring team so far this year. Homesick Abortions will also enter the game with Cooper Kupp, who has been the best player in the league.
Meanwhile, Black Micahs will take on Alcoholnics, who will come into the game undefeated. Black Micahs have now been the favorite in both their last two games, and failed to perform both times. The experts might not give them the benefit of the doubt in their next one.

Down to the Wire
All 33 of Josh Allen's points counted in DenBro's win
DenBro had to be wary coming into this game after losing both matches against Homesick Abortions last season. Thankfully for Coach Don Zimmerman, the past was not prelude. DenBro just slipped by Homesick Abortions, 61 to 60. The 1 point margin that separated these two teams is the smallest gap of the season so far.
The win brings DenBro's record to 1 - 2, while dropping Homesick Abortions to an identical 1 - 2.
This contest featured the top performing player this week in Josh Allen, and not surprisingly, he played on the winning team. DenBro were led by the one-man team of Allen, who was responsible for more than half of his team's points. Apparently, he must have felt bad after last week's 12 point effort. After his big game this week, he now owns the Bills franchise record (already!) for most games with 4 TDs and 300 passing yards.
The Broncos Defense/ST helped out as well, exceeding their projected point total by 6.6 points. The Broncos have now exceeded the average Defense/ST's performance in every game so far this year.
Meanwhile, Coach Chris Crowder will find no easy scapegoat for this week's loss. Homesick Abortions were brought down by four underperformers, the worst of whom was Russell Wilson (10 points).1 Another underperformer, kicker Chris Boswell, was the worst at his position. Coach Crowder certainly can't blame the loss on Cooper Kupp, who scored 16 points.
Coach Zimmerman seem to have forgotten to set their lineup this week. They left Tee Higgins in the game, despite the fact that he was a guaranteed zero points. That cost their team 5 points and made the game needlessly close.
Next week will see DenBro taking on the 2 - 1 Big Tex's Pillow Biters. Big Tex's Pillow Biters will come into the game with some momentum, having posted back-to-back 70+ point games.
Meanwhile, Homesick Abortions will take on Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum next week. The game will feature the league's top two players, as Homesick Abortions' Cooper Kupp faces off against Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum's Mike Williams.

Three-peat
Justin Tucker and Alcoholnics make it three in a row against The Brainers
The Brainers were used to being on top last year, but the script has truly been flipped so far this year. The Brainers could not make it much of a game, losing to Alcoholnics 70 to 53.
The loss makes it three in a row for The Brainers, which gives them a 0 - 3 record. The victory makes it three in a row for Alcoholnics, bringing their record to 3 - 0.
Alcoholnics had several players step up in the win, as five starters beat their positional averages. Justin Tucker was just a bit ahead of the others, putting up 17 points. Tucker topped all but one kicker this week with that performance. Alcoholnics also got the benefit of the 3rd straight game that Chris Godwin exceeded his expectations.
Coach Nick Claeboe's squad overcame bad performances from three players: Lamar Jackson, Miles Sanders, and Terry McLaurin, who collectively came up with 15 points.
Meanwhile, The Brainers had plenty of duds in the loss. They were brought down by four underperformers, the worst of whom was Robert Woods (1 point).
Coach Claeboe did his part to secure the victory this week. He started two players that the experts thought should be riding the pine. One of those picks, Tyler Higbee, worked out. The other pick, Terry McLaurin, did not.
Overall, these moves gave Alcoholnics an extra 3 points . Coach Claeboe's decisions this week allow him to relinquish his title as the worst gameday coach in the league (Coach Micah Russell wears the crown now).
The Brainers will face off against Pinko Commie Bastards next week. Pinko Commie Bastards have scored the fewest points so far this year. Meanwhile, Alcoholnics will be playing Black Micahs.

Leave it to Me
Justin Herbert takes control of the game as Zombie Werewolves wins
Zombie Werewolves earned a pretty comfortable victory over Pinko Commie Bastards, winning 56 to 43. Zombie Werewolves got a fairly lucky victory, winning with the 4th lowest point total in the league this week.
The loss drops Pinko Commie Bastards to 1 - 2, and sinks them to the bottom of our internal power rankings. The win brings Zombie Werewolves to 2 - 1.
Justin Herbert did about as good for Zombie Werewolves this week as he did bad last week. Herbert was the clear leader on Zombie Werewolves, posting 27 points. Three games into his second season, he has already become the third player to have 10+ 300 yard passing games in his first two years.
Meanwhile, there were plenty of chefs cooking up this week's loss for Pinko Commie Bastards. The Steelers Defense/ST was the worst of a seven man group of underperformers, producing only 2 points.1 Pinko Commie Bastards were also hurt by the 3rd straight game that George Kittle has failed to exceed his expected points. Pinko Commie Bastards did get some solace this week in the form of Antonio Gibson, who came up with 11 points.
Coach Patrick jolle have made more lineup changes than any other coach in the league, but couldn't find the right mix this week. They went with Younghoe Koo over the higher ranked Daniel Carlson.
This decision took a 7 point chunk out of Zombie Werewolves' final score, which ultimately didn't make a difference in the final outcome. It did make it back-to-back weeks now where Coach Jolle have cost their team points.
The strength of schedule diverges for these squads next week. Next week will see Zombie Werewolves taking on the 2 - 1 SkinFan. Zombie Werewolves will face off against Kyler Murray in that game, part of a three game stretch against tough quarterbacks which will see them take on Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes in the following weeks.
As for Pinko Commie Bastards, they will match up with The Brainers next week. The Brainers will come into the game looking for their first win.

Show's Over
Tyreek Hill and Black Micahs put an end to Alcoholnics' three game streak
Black Micahs failed to show up for last week's contest, but turned things way around this week. They got past Alcoholnics without much trouble, winning 84 to 65. With the win, Black Micahs put an end to Alcoholnics' three-game win streak.
The win evens up Black Micahs' record at 2 - 2. The loss is the first of the season for Alcoholnics, dropping their record to 3 - 1.
It's not that hard to win when you have the league's top performer for the week, and Tyreek Hill was that player.1 The Cheetah was a one-man wrecking crew, delivering 27 points.2
Black Micahs also got a big effort from Patrick Mahomes (9.9 points above expected). Mahomes absolutely made it rain Sunday afternoon, finishing with only six incompletions and five touchdown passes, including this bullseye to a streaking Tyreek Hill in traffic.
Although Coach Micah Russell got the win, they cannot have been happy with Sony Michel's performance this week. Michel failed to show up, scoring -2 points. No other running back has scored fewer points than that this season.
Alcoholnics really lost this game as a team. They had five underperformers, with Lamar Jackson (12 points) being the worst.3 Coach Nick Claeboe has to be used to bad scores from Jackson, who has been the worst performer on Alcoholnics more times than any other player.
On the coaching front, this game showed how futile efforts can sometimes be. Coach Russell's gameday decisions have been the worst in the league this season, and this week showed why. They started two players that the experts thought should be riding the pine. One of those picks, Kyle Pitts, worked out. The other pick, Sony Michel, did not.
Overall, these moves cost Black Micahs a total of 6 points. Coach Russell have now cost their team points in both of the last two weeks.
As for Coach Claeboe, his lineup decisions earned his team points last week, and did again this week. He started three players that the experts thought should be riding the pine. Two of those picks, Terry McLaurin and Lamar Jackson, worked out. The other pick, Tyler Higbee, did not.
Overall, these moves gave Alcoholnics an extra 17 points . After his decisions this week, Coach Claeboe's lineup moves are now a net-plus for the year.
Next week, Black Micahs will take on the 2 - 2 Pinko Commie Bastards. Meanwhile, Alcoholnics will collide with DenBro.
Week 4 · Oct 05, 2021 01:40 pm ET
Better Lucky than Good
Derrick Henry helps Zombie Werewolves to a lucky win
Zombie Werewolves were able to grind out a solid victory this week against SkinFan, winning by a score of 50 to 39. After winning a lucky one last week, Zombie Werewolves did it again, winning a game with the 4th lowest score this week.
Zombie Werewolves have now won three games in a row, which brings their record to 3 - 1. The loss drops SkinFan's record to 2 - 2.
Zombie Werewolves were led by the tag team of Derrick Henry and Darren Waller, who together notched 22 points. King Henry's performance early on Sunday took him from the 7th best player to the 3rd best player in the league. He collected 157 hard-earned yards on the ground and this one-yard DH Specialty TD.
Given their low point total, it's not surprising that Zombie Werewolves had several underperformers (six to be exact). Jameis Winston was the worst of them, scoring 9 points.1 Coach Patrick jolle were no doubt hoping for more from Winston's first venture off the bench.
Meanwhile, SkinFan were having trouble reaching paydirt, getting into the end zone only one time. No other team scored fewer TDs this week. SkinFan suffered from four zeros in that category, one of which came from Dalvin Cook, who wasn't better in other stat categories.
Coach Jolle's gameday decisions have been some of the worst in the league this season, and this week they showed why. They left Justin Herbert and Antonio Brown on the bench in favor of Jameis Winston and Odell Beckham, who were both expected to score less.
These terrible decisions cost Zombie Werewolves a total of 12 points, and marks the 3rd straight week where Coach Jolle have cost their team points.
These teams will see a difference in the quality of their upcoming opponents. Next week, Zombie Werewolves will take on The Brainers, who comes into the game looking for their first win. Zombie Werewolves have now been an underdog in both the last two weeks, and won both times. Maybe they'll get a bit more credit going into their next one.
Losing to a good team better not become a pattern for SkinFan, as its next two games are also against winning teams, starting with Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum next week.
Week 4 · Oct 05, 2021 01:40 pm ET
Predict This!
James Robinson and Pinko Commie Bastards flip the script against The Brainers this week
This was expected to be a blowout and it was. The surprise was who blew out who. Pinko Commie Bastards stomped all over The Brainers 78 to 46. The 78 points that Pinko Commie Bastards dropped were the most they scored so far this year.
The win gets Pinko Commie Bastards back to .500 with a 2 - 2 record. This loss brings The Brainers' losing streak to four in a row, dropping their record to 0 - 4.
The bottom part of Coach Erran Yearty's draft came through for him this week. James Robinson and Matt Prater both kicked in 15 points.
Jalen Hurts helped out as well, exceeding his projected point total by 5.1 points. Hurts balled out for a season-high 387 passing yards on 32 completions, including this three-yard dart to Dallas Goedert for one of his two touchdown passes.
Meanwhile, Tom Brady loomed large in the loss for The Brainers, dropping 5 points.1 That was the 3rd fewest of any quarterback this season. He came out on top in his return to Gillette Stadium but didn’t exactly light it up, finishing with zero touchdown passes (or interceptions) during a cautious performance.
The Brainers were also hurt by the 4th straight game that the Titans Defense/ST have failed to exceed their expected points. The only real legit performance that The Brainers got came courtesy of Austin Ekeler, who scored 18 points. After Ekeler's performance this week, he moved up to being the 2nd best running back in the league.
Coach Yearty was no passive bystander in the victory. He started two players that the experts thought should be riding the pine. One of those picks, Matt Prater, worked out. The other pick, Antonio Gibson, did not.
Overall, these moves gave Pinko Commie Bastards an extra 9 points, which just made the final result that much more embarrassing. This makes it back-to-back weeks where Coach Yearty has outsmarted the experts.
The Brainers will be going against Zombie Werewolves next week. Bad timing for The Brainers, as Zombie Werewolves will come into the matchup on a three game winning streak. The matchup will feature the two top TE's in the league, as Travis Kelce meets up with Rob Gronkowski. Meanwhile, Pinko Commie Bastards will take on Black Micahs next week.
Week 4 · Oct 05, 2021 01:40 pm ET
Putting on a Show
Ryan Succop was tops on Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum in the win
Coach Chris Crowder might have been looking to rest his nerves a bit after last week's nailbiter. Well, he got the rest, but definitely not the win. Homesick Abortions got clobbered by Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum, losing 73 to 35. Homesick Abortions secured the worst team performance in the league this week with that 35 point total.
The loss drops Homesick Abortions' record to 1 - 3, while the win brings Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum to 3 - 1.
Ryan Succop led a very balanced group of five overperformers for Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum this week, producing 15 points.1 Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum won despite bad games from Mike Williams, the Chiefs Defense/ST, and Nick Chubb, who together put up 8 points. Williams must have gotten tired from racking up 20 points last week.
Meanwhile, Homesick Abortions suffered from three goose eggs, with Robbie Gould, the Panthers Defense/ST, and Tommy Tremble failing to contribute anything. Bad performances are pretty common these days for Gould, who has now underperformed the experts' predictions in three straight games.
Next week will see Homesick Abortions taking on the 3 - 1 Big Tex's Pillow Biters. Big Tex's Pillow Biters have been racking up the points recently, posting three straight 70+ point games. The game ought to be quite the strategic battle as it will feature the best gameday coaches in the league so far. As for Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum, they will match up with SkinFan. That team will limp into the contest having posted only 39 points this week.
Week 4 · Oct 05, 2021 01:40 pm ET
One Sided Affair
The Bills Defense/ST lead Big Tex's Pillow Biters in an easy win
It's probably been tough for Coach William Hayes to stay awake while following his recent games. The last three games have been blowouts, and this week was just more of the same. Big Tex's Pillow Biters demolished DenBro, winning 79 to 56.
The win makes it three in a row for Big Tex's Pillow Biters, giving them a record of 3 - 1. The loss drops DenBro's record to 1 - 3.
The Bills Defense/ST was the key contributor for Big Tex's Pillow Biters, recording 21 points. That performance was good for 4th place among all players this week.1 After their performance, they moved up to being the best Defense/ST in the league.
The Bills got help from three other players, including 16 points from Tyler Bass. Bass topped all kickers this week with that performance.
Meanwhile, DenBro saw six different players underperform, and while none of them particularly stuck out, Chuba Hubbard and his 2 points was officially the worst. Coach Don Zimmerman are still waiting to get one above-average week from Hubbard.
DenBro needs to step their game up if they don't want the same results as they had this week against Big Tex's Pillow Biters, because it doesn't get any easier from here. Next week begins a difficult two game set starting with Alcoholnics. Meanwhile, Big Tex's Pillow Biters will be playing Homesick Abortions.
Week 5 · Oct 12, 2021 03:52 pm ET
Will.I.Ams Amazing
Mike Williams scores 21 points to help put away SkinFan
No other coach has tried more lineup combinations than Coach Tim Fabrizio, but this week all that turnover wasn't helping. They went with Stefon Diggs over the higher ranked Marquise Brown.
This decision took a 15 point chunk out of SkinFan's final score, which--thankfully for Coach Fabrizio--didn't matter much this game as they ended up pretty far behind in this one, losing 80 to 62 to Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum (4 - 1).
Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum had a three-man strike force with Mike Williams, DK Metcalf, and Nick Chubb combining for 52 points. After Williams' performance this week, he moved up to being the best wide receiver in the league. He should not be able to get this open two times in the same game.
Meanwhile, there's no pointing fingers in SkinFan's loss as they failed all over the place. They were brought down by five underperformers, the worst of whom was Kyler Murray (9 points).1 This is the 2nd time this year that he was the worst starter on his team. Despite the loss, SkinFan had three standouts, with Mike Evans, Greg Joseph, and the Vikings Defense/ST totaling 44 points.
Losing to a good team (like Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum) better not become a pattern for SkinFan, as their next game is against Big Tex's Pillow Biters, who has pulverized the league so far. Big Tex's Pillow Biters comes into the match on a four game winning streak. Meanwhile, Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum will collide with DenBro.
Week 5 · Oct 12, 2021 03:52 pm ET
On Edge
Davante Adams helps Big Tex's Pillow Biters barely triumph over Homesick Abortions
Big Tex's Pillow Biters exceeded their expectations for three straight weeks coming into this game, did it again, and were rewarded with a victory. They tightroped past Homesick Abortions (1 - 4), winning 61 to 60. No team this season has had to suffer a closer loss than the one Homesick Abortions endured this week.
The game leaves both these teams streaking in opposite directions. The win brings Big Tex's Pillow Biters' winning streak to four games. The defeat puts Homesick Abortions on a three game losing streak.
Big Tex's Pillow Biters didn't have any huge performances this week, but also didn't have anybody who really dropped the ball. Davante Adams paced the team by beating the average wide receiver by 9.6 points, while Adam Thielen (4.4 points worse than the average wide receiver) was the worst on the team. Adams set a career-high with 206 receiving yards, which was also the first 200+ receiving yard game in the NFL this year.
Russell Wilson has been dead weight throughout Homesick Abortions's losing streak, and this week brought more of the same. Wilson was clearly the weakest link for Coach Chris Crowder and the gang as he scored 6 points.1 That performance was worse than every other player this week.2 He was knocked out of the game with a ruptured tendon in his right hand, but may be back sooner than expected after a successful surgery.
Dawson Knox was the lone bright spot (and a pretty dim one at that) for Homesick Abortions this week, scoring 12 points. Knox's performance on Sunday night took him from the 3rd best tight end to the best tight end in the league.
On the coaching front, both sides made mistakes this week. Coach William Hayes might have had a little too much fun last week, as he didn't set his team's lineup. He left Chris Carson in the lineup, despite the fact that he was a guaranteed zero points. He also left Mike Gesicki in the lineup (Mark Andrews would have been 21 points better). After his decisions this week, he has now cost his team points for the season (13 points worse than the experts).
Coach Crowder also has to be kicking himself for his lineup decisions this week. He started Chris Boswell instead of Nick Folk, despite the experts' prediction that Folk should have played.
This decision shaved 6 points from Homesick Abortions' score, which cost them the game, and marks the first time this year that Coach Crowder's decisions have cost his team points.
Both teams have good news in the upcoming schedule. The schedule for Big Tex's Pillow Biters brings SkinFan around next week. Good timing, as SkinFan will come into the matchup on a three game losing streak. That contest will be a rematch from week three, when Big Tex's Pillow Biters won in a blowout.
As for Homesick Abortions, they will square off against Pinko Commie Bastards. Pinko Commie Bastards will have to put their wide receiver depth to the test in that one, as Cordarrelle Patterson has his bye week.

Special Delivery
Kareem Hunt produces 16 points to lead Black Micahs in victory
Coming into the game, Pinko Commie Bastards had scored the fewest points of any team over the last three weeks. Coach Erran Yearty's squad put up a solid number of points this week though, but that wasn't enough. Pinko Commie Bastards got beat by Black Micahs, 79 to 68. The loss drops Pinko Commie Bastards' record to 2 - 3, while the win brings Black Micahs to 3 - 2.
Black Micahs got good efforts from almost everyone on the squad, with six players topping their positional averages. Kareem Hunt was the first among equals, producing 16 points. That makes it three straight games of overperforming expectations for Hunt.
Black Micahs also got a big effort from Kyle Pitts (8 points above expected). Pitts maybe needed to get out of the country to have his first breakout game (which included this beautiful one-handed catch).
Meanwhile, this week's loss for Pinko Commie Bastards was a true group effort. They had six underperformers, with A.J. Brown (1 point) being the worst. Brown has now underperformed the league average wide receiver in three straight games. As far as good performances for Pinko Commie Bastards, Jonathan Taylor stuck out with 20 points.
Coach Yearty's lineup decisions earned his team points last week, and did again this week. He started Jalen Hurts instead of Derek Carr, despite the experts' prediction that Carr should have played.
This decision gave Pinko Commie Bastards a nice 14 point bonus. With those additional points, Coach Yearty is now the best game-day coach in the league, passing Coach Chris Crowder.
The strength of schedule diverges for these squads next week. Next week will see Pinko Commie Bastards taking on the 1 - 4 Homesick Abortions. Coach Yearty is getting Homesick Abortions at the right time, as they will limp into next week's game having posted less than 65 points each of the last two weeks.
Meanwhile, Black Micahs will take on Zombie Werewolves. Zombie Werewolves will get to start the league's hottest player in Justin Herbert.

Action Jackson
Lamar Jackson (33 points) leads Alcoholnics to a win over DenBro
It wasn't too close for comfort, but it was still pretty close, as Alcoholnics beat DenBro 76 to 69. Alcoholnics set their new high mark for the season with those 76 points. The win brings Alcoholnics' record to 4 - 1, while dropping DenBro to 1 - 4.
Alcoholnics relied heavily on Lamar Jackson, who racked up 33 points. That performance was the 5th best of any player this week.1 He set an all-time NFL record for completion percentage in a 40+ PA game while helping to bring the Ravens back from 19 down.
Meanwhile, Coach Don Zimmerman will find no easy scapegoat for this week's loss. Jamaal Williams was the worst of a five man group of underperformers on DenBro, recording only 2 points.2 DenBro did get a couple of good, but ultimately futile, efforts from Josh Allen and Emmanuel Sanders, who came up with a total of 44 points.
Alcoholnics will face off against The Brainers next week. Coach Chuck Rittenhouse's team just had a huge week, having posted 116 points. That battle (featuring Tom Brady for The Brainers) will be the first of a three straight games against tough quarterbacks (Patrick Mahomes and Justin Herbert are on the schedule in the following weeks). DenBro better be able to put their loss to Alcoholnics behind them and refocus, because their next game is against the more challenging Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum.

The Thrill of (a) Victory
The Brainers gets a one week break from a bleak season
The Brainers had the best running backs coming into this game, and they came through for Coach Chuck Rittenhouse once again. The Brainers ran their way to a 116 to 105 win over Zombie Werewolves. Austin Ekeler scored 21 points, while Najee Harris scored 13. Ekeler got one of his two rushing touchdowns via the Cleveland Brown defense, which pulled him into the end zone against his will so their offense could get the ball back.
The Brainers also got a better-than-expected performance from Tom Brady, who beat his projections by 17 points. That's a big turnaround for Brady, who last week scored 5 points.
Meanwhile, Coach Patrick jolle will have a hard time pinning the blame for this loss on any particular player. Odell Beckham was the worst of a four man group of underperformers on Zombie Werewolves, tallying only 1 point. Underperforming is the new normal for Beckham, who has gone three straight games without hitting his projected point total.
Zombie Werewolves wound up with their high point total courtesy of four overperformers. Justin Herbert scored 37 points to pace the group. Herbert set the new high mark for all players this season with that performance.
The win is the first of the season for The Brainers, making their record 1 - 4. The loss drops Zombie Werewolves' record to 3 - 2.
Coach Rittenhouse should hope that the victory over a quality opponent like Zombie Werewolves establishes a pattern, as their next game is against Alcoholnics, who have pulverized the league so far. That will be a rematch from week three, when The Brainers lost 70 to 53.
Hopefully, there won't be too many bye week players in the lineup next week when Zombie Werewolves takes on Black Micahs in a battle between the worst gameday coaches in the league so far. The game will be a rematch from week two, and Coach Jolle will no doubt be hoping that Derrick Henry can drop 30 points like he did last time.

Not Wanted
The Brainers wins despite leaving CeeDee Lamb's 19 points on the bench
Sometimes you eat the bar, and sometimes the bar eats you. After scoring their highest point total for the year last week, Alcoholnics scored their lowest total this week. They lost to The Brainers, 62 to 54. Alcoholnics beat The Brainers back in week three, so the turnabout this week was fair play.
The loss drops Alcoholnics' record to 4 - 2, while the win brings The Brainers to 2 - 4.
The experts thought Greg Zuerlein should have been left on the bench, but Coach Chuck Rittenhouse knew better. Although The Brainers got a nice group performance in the win, Greg Zuerlein was the best of the bunch, notching 13 points.
CeeDee Lamb was kept on The Brainers' bench in the victory, but he didn't let that discourage him, as he went off for 19 points. Lamb's performance this week was better than every other bench-rider in the league.
Lamar Jackson and Alexander Mattison were the captain and first mate on the good ship failboat. Together they delivered only 6 points. Jackson fell farther short of his expected points than any other player this week. The Ravens got three rushing touchdowns from their 2017 RB All-Stars, and didn't need Lamar to do much during their 28 point demolition of the Chargers.
In addition to Jackson and Mattison, Alcoholnics were also hurt by Terry McLaurin and Chris Godwin, who together scored only 3 points. It's yet another disappointing day for Godwin, who has now underperformed the experts' predictions in three straight games.
Alcoholnics' next game will be against Black Micahs in a rematch from week four. Alcoholnics lost the previous matchup 84 to 65. As for The Brainers, Coach Rittenhouse cannot be happy with how his team has played so far this season, but he has to be enjoying the recent turnaround, having won the past 2 games. He'll hope to keep that momentum going into next week's matchup with Pinko Commie Bastards. The game might seem more like a chess match as the league's best coaches will try to outsmart the other.

Showtime
Derrick Henry's 26 points were too much for Black Micahs
Coach Micah Russell tried to second guess the experts this week when setting their lineup, and the result was very costly. They went with the Buccaneers Defense/ST over the higher ranked the Cowboys Defense/ST.
This decision cost Black Micahs a total of 7 points and cost them the game, as they lost a tight one against Zombie Werewolves (4 - 2), 72 to 69.
Zombie Werewolves had the good fortune of having the league's best player this week in Derrick Henry. King Henry made it rain for Zombie Werewolves, delivering 26 points. He looked like he was just on another level when blowing through the Bills defense for this 76 yard TD.
The only real damper on Zombie Werewolves' victory came from Justin Herbert, who scored 6 points. That was quite a falloff from last week, when he scored 37 points.
Meanwhile, it will be difficult for Coach Russell to fault any one player for the loss. Black Micahs were brought down by five underperformers, the worst of whom was Kareem Hunt (3 points).1 Hunt's performance this week ended a three game streak of beating the experts' projections. Another underperformer, tight end Austin Hooper, was the worst at his position.
Black Micahs' next game will be against Alcoholnics in a rematch from week four. Black Micahs won the previous matchup 84 to 65. Coach Russell will be keeping their fingers crossed that Patrick Mahomes will score 29 points like he did when Black Micahs last played Alcoholnics.
Zombie Werewolves will play Homesick Abortions next week in a matchup featuring the two top players in the league (Derrick Henry for Zombie Werewolves and Cooper Kupp for Homesick Abortions). Homesick Abortions will have to play without Dawson Knox, who has a bye week.

No Threat
Leonard Fournette helps Big Tex's Pillow Biters cruise to victory
Big Tex's Pillow Biters put a 31 point hurting on SkinFan in week three, and came back for seconds this week. In the only blowout this week, Big Tex's Pillow Biters crushed SkinFan, winning 82 to 47. Blowouts are nothing new to Coach William Hayes, since Big Tex's Pillow Biters has been involved in the most blowout games of anybody in league so far.
Big Tex's Pillow Biters have now finished off five straight opponents after this win, which gives them a 5 - 1 record. The loss drops SkinFan to 2 - 4, and sinks them to the bottom of our internal power rankings.
Big Tex's Pillow Biters won with a balanced effort, as five players outperformed their positional averages. Leonard Fournette was just a bit ahead of the others, dropping 18 points.1 Fournette has now overperformed the experts' predictions in three straight games. He basically ran a three-cone drill on the Eagle's defense on this pass.
Another one of Big Tex's Pillow Biters' good players, tight end Mark Andrews, got the 2nd highest score at his position this week.
Meanwhile, there were plenty of chefs cooking up this week's loss for SkinFan. They had five underperformers, with Myles Gaskin (zero points) being the worst. Coach Tim Fabrizio have to be used to bad scores from Gaskin, who has been the worst performer on SkinFan more times than any other player. He got a similar number of carries plus touches this week (11) as last week (15), but just didn't do anything with them.
Zack Moss has to share in some of the blame as well, coming up with 5 fewer points than he was expected to. Unfortunately, more bad performances might be on tap for Moss, who has seen his point total drop in each of the last four weeks.
These teams will see a difference in the quality of their upcoming opponents. The West Side division lead will be at stake when Big Tex's Pillow Biters takes on Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum next week. The game will be a clash of the titans, as those are the two top teams in the league.
Meanwhile, someone will finally get relief when SkinFan and DenBro clash, as they come into the game on four and three game losing streaks, respectively. The game might wind up as a crawl to the finish, as it features the two lowest scoring teams in the league.

One More Makes Four
The Rams Defense/ST and Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum beat DenBro for their 4th win in a row
Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum (5 - 1) came into the game on a three game streak of improving their point total. They broke their streak, but still got the W. Coach Robert Wetzel's squad wound up with a solid victory against DenBro (1 - 5), winning 62 to 49. The win is more of the same for Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum, who won the last game with DenBro by the score of 84 to 47.
Both squads keep their momentum (or in the case of DenBro, "momentum") going as a result of this match. With the win, Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum continues their four-game streak of success. Another defeat makes it three in a row for DenBro.
The Rams Defense/ST separated themselves from the rest of the crew on Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum, notching 16 points.1 That was the most that any Defense/ST collected this week.
Dak Prescott helped out as well, exceeding his projected point total by 7.3 points. Prescott put up 445 yards against the Patriots, which is the most they've ever allowed during Bill Belichick's tenure.
Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum overcame bad performances from three players: Chase Claypool, Ryan Succop, and Mike Williams, who collectively came up with 5 points. Claypool was targeted a decent number of times (7) but only caught two balls for 17 yards.
Meanwhile, Jamaal Williams and Cairo Santos put a big hurt on DenBro's chances this week, producing only 2 points between them. Williams' zero points made him the worst starter on his team for the 2nd time this season.
Williams and Santos had plenty of company, with the Broncos Defense/ST (2 points) being the worst of three other underperformers. The Broncos' 2 points were the fewest they have scored so far this year.
This is the first time this year that Coach Wetzel have had the same lineup in back-to-back games, and the tried and true came through. They started Dak Prescott instead of Sam Darnold, despite the experts' prediction that Darnold should have played.
This decision netted Coach Wetzel an extra 10 points. Coach Wetzel have given their team extra points now in both of the last two weeks.
Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum will be facing an opponent looking for vengance next week, as Big Tex's Pillow Biters tries to bounce back from the league-worst 55 point loss they suffered in week two. That game could eventually determine who the top seed is, as right now those teams sport the league's best records.
Meanwhile, someone will finally get relief when DenBro and SkinFan clash, as they come into the game on three and four game losing streaks, respectively. Ratings for this game might be a little low, as the matchup will feature the two teams in the league that have scored the fewest points so far.

Climb Aboard
Jonathan Taylor drops 19 points in leading Pinko Commie Bastards to victory
After losing three straight games, Coach Chris Crowder's squad figured: 'Why not another?' Homesick Abortions got beat by Pinko Commie Bastards, 87 to 76. Bad luck for Homesick Abortions in this contest, as they would have won this week against all but one other team.
The win brings Pinko Commie Bastards back to even at 3 - 3. The loss drops Homesick Abortions' record to 1 - 5.
Jonathan Taylor was the clear leader on Pinko Commie Bastards this week, racking up 19 points.1 That performance was good for 5th place among all players this week.2 He now has the most rushing yards in the NFL over the past three weeks.
Pinko Commie Bastards also got the 2nd highest kicker score this week via Matt Prater, who recorded 15 points.
Meanwhile, Homesick Abortions had three stooges, with D.J. Moore, Carson Wentz, and Dawson Knox scoring 19 points. Wentz has yet to give Homesick Abortions even one week of above average quarterback play this season.
In most other games, Homesick Abortions' five overperforming players (led by Cooper Kupp, 18 points) would have brought home a win. Kupp's 18 point performance this week moves him up to being the best wide receiver in the league this season.
Coach Erran Yearty's gameday decisions have been the best in the league so far this season, and his brilliance was on display again this week. He went with Matt Prater over the higher ranked Zane Gonzalez.
This decision boosted Pinko Commie Bastards' final score by 6 points, and makes it four weeks in a row that Coach Yearty has taught the experts a lesson in lineup management.
Next week, Homesick Abortions will be playing Zombie Werewolves. Homesick Abortions have now been the favorite in both their last two games, and failed to perform both times. The experts might not give them the benefit of the doubt in their next one. As for Pinko Commie Bastards, they will match up with The Brainers next week.
Week 7 · Oct 26, 2021 03:10 pm ET
Lineup Nirvana
Coach Rittenhouse earned a perfect lineup and Ja'Marr Chase gave a big performance
Coming into the game, Pinko Commie Bastards had scored the most points of any team over the last three weeks. They scored a solid amount of points this week, but it wasn't enough. Coach Erran Yearty's boys couldn't stay with The Brainers, losing 88 to 69. Pinko Commie Bastards have now scored 156 points over the last two weeks, which is quite a turnaround given that they were the 2nd lowest scoring team in the league at the beginning of that stretch.
The loss drops Pinko Commie Bastards to the last spot in the East Side division at 3 - 4. The victory makes it three in a row for The Brainers, and gives them a record of 3 - 4.
The Brainers had almost all of their firepower going off before the end of the Sunday early games, and they came through big time. Ja'Marr Chase and Damien Harris led the way, scoring 34 points between them. Chase somehow came out of the wash on this play to go 72 yards for the touchdown.
The Brainers would have done even better early on Sunday if not for a poor effort from Travis Kelce (4.4 points below expected). Meanwhile, Pinko Commie Bastards were having a so-so performance. Darrel Williams kept the scoreboard operator relaxed, coming up with only 2 points.
Going into the Sunday late games, The Brainers were already looking good. After Tom Brady dropped 24 points, The Brainers had themselves a 'W'.
Looking at lineup decisions, Coach Chuck Rittenhouse wound up with a perfect lineup this week, albeit by following the CBSSports projections to the letter. This is the first time this year that Coach Rittenhouse has pulled that off.
Pinko Commie Bastards' next game will be against Black Micahs in a rematch from week five. Pinko Commie Bastards lost the previous matchup 79 to 68. Jonathan Taylor was huge in that game, going off for 20 points. Meanwhile, The Brainers will be playing Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum next week. That team is not coming in very hot, after finishing this week with only 41 points.
Week 7 · Oct 26, 2021 03:10 pm ET
Cruising
Alvin Kamara and Alcoholnics skate past Black Micahs
After last week's 54 point effort, Alcoholnics came through big time this week. They made it look easy against Black Micahs, winning 79 to 45. The 79 points that Alcoholnics scored were the most they scored this year, just one week after setting their season low.
The loss drops Black Micahs back below .500 at 3 - 4.
Alcoholnics were a picture of symmetry, winning with a very balanced lineup. Alvin Kamara topped the running back average by 5.2 points to lead the team, while Justin Tucker fell only 2.8 points short of the average K in bringing up the rear. Kamara's 14 point performance made him the top performer on Alcoholnics for the first time this year. He has become something of a lodestar for Alcoholnics, as they have never lost when he overperforms his expectations, going 4 - 0.
Over in the loser's circle, Black Micahs got a big game from the Buccaneers Defense/ST. The Buccaneers scored 20 points, which topped all Defense/STs this week. Unfortunately for Black Micahs, they were the only player on the whole team that had a legit good performance.
Patrick Mahomes stuck out as the worst performer for Black Micahs, tallying only 1 point.1 Showtime has now been the worst performing starter in the league over the last three weeks. The worst game of his professional career ended with this brutal sack that has him questionable for next week's game.
The strength of schedule diverges for these squads next week. Next week, Alcoholnics will take on the 4 - 3 Zombie Werewolves. Zombie Werewolves brings in the best player in the league over the past three weeks: Derrick Henry.
Although Black Micahs lost this game, on the bright side, Alcoholnics was the hardest test they will face for a while. Their next three games are against sub .500 teams, starting with Pinko Commie Bastards next week.

Super Cooper
19 points from Cooper Kupp helps give Homesick Abortions the win
Homesick Abortions have been relying on Cooper Kupp all year, and he came through again this week. Homesick Abortions gave Zombie Werewolves a 79 to 49 drubbing behind 19 points from Kupp. No surprise there, as he is currently the best wide receiver in the league. On top of his actual point production, his underlying targeting numbers are a fantasy manager's dream.
Kupp was joined by four other overperformers, including Nick Folk, who racked up 14 points. Homesick Abortions won despite bad games from Aaron Jones, the Panthers Defense/ST, and D.J. Moore, who together dropped 6 points.
Meanwhile, Zombie Werewolves had plenty of duds in the loss. Jarvis Landry was the worst of a five man group of underperformers, notching only 1 point.1 Another underperformer, tight end Darren Waller, was the worst at his position this week. Zombie Werewolves only had one player who gave a passable performance this week, with James Conner scoring 9 points.2
The loss drops Zombie Werewolves' record to 4 - 3, while the win brings Homesick Abortions to 2 - 5.
Coach Chris Crowder can rest a bit after this big victory since the next two games are against sub .500 teams, starting with SkinFan next week. One of those teams will face a big comedown from this week, as they both won easily. Meanwhile, Zombie Werewolves will collide with Alcoholnics next week.
Week 7 · Oct 26, 2021 03:10 pm ET
Sweet Mercy
Mike Evans helps SkinFan end their 4 game losing streak
The experts must be feeling pretty smart this week. They predicted that DenBro (1 - 6) would score the fewest points this week, and that's exactly what they did. They got absolutely demolished by SkinFan (3 - 4), losing 76 to 32. In addition to losing the game, Coach Don Zimmerman had the distinction of posting the worst score in the league so far this season.
The game gave sweet relief to one team, even though both teams needed it. DenBro came into the game on a three game losing streak With the win, SkinFan put an end to their four game losing streak.
This contest featured the top performing player this week in Mike Evans, and not surprisingly, he played on the winning team.1 Evans was a one-man wrecking crew, scoring 21 points. That was 20 points better than he did last week. He was thankfully not docked any fantasy points for absent-mindedly giving away Tom Brady's 600th passing touchdown to a fan.
SkinFan also got a better-than-expected performance from the Packers Defense/ST, who beat their projections by 4.2 points. The Packers scored 12 points, which is the most they've gotten so far this year.
DenBro, meanwhile, were having a terrible time moving the ball down the field, with the whole team gaining only 181 yards. DenBro were practicing their manners as they put every other team ahead of themselves in the RuReYd category this week. Coach Zimmerman can look to Tim Patrick and Brandin Cooks when passing out blame for the poor performance in that category. The two combined to gain only 37 total yards.
DenBro will try to cool off Big Tex's Pillow Biters next week. Big Tex's Pillow Biters are coming in hot, having won six games in a row. Helping things somewhat, Big Tex's Pillow Biters will be without Mark Andrews, who has a bye.
SkinFan's next game will be against Homesick Abortions in a rematch from week one. SkinFan won the previous matchup 72 to 68. Next week's game will see both of this week's top wide receivers square off, when Mike Evans matches up against Cooper Kupp.
Week 7 · Oct 26, 2021 03:10 pm ET
Brushing 'Em Off
D'Ernest Johnson and Big Tex's Pillow Biters get an easy win
This matchup was a heat check for both these squads. Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum came into the game on a four game winning streak, while Big Tex's Pillow Biters came into the game on a five game winning streak. Big Tex's Pillow Biters were the team that rose up to the challenge.
Big Tex's Pillow Biters crushed Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum, winning 75 to 41. Big Tex's Pillow Biters now have the best record in the league at 6 - 1. The loss drops Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum's record to 5 - 2.
Big Tex's Pillow Biters had several players step up in the win, as five starters beat their positional averages. D'Ernest Johnson was the first among equals, racking up 14 points.1 Big Tex's Pillow Biters also got a big effort from Leonard Fournette (4.4 points above expected). That makes it four straight games of overperforming expectations for Fournette.
The game would have been an even bigger blowout if Coach William Hayes had put Mike Gesicki (10 points) in the lineup. Gesicki did better than any player actually in Big Tex's Pillow Biters' starting lineup this week.2
Coach Robert Wetzel put Sam Darnold into the Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum lineup for the first time this week, but Darnold might want to keep his bench warming pants clean. Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum had many underperformers, but Darnold stood out, delivering zero points. That made him the worst starter this week.
Darnold was part of a group of five underperformers, with Miles Sanders (only 1 point) being the worst of the rest. Sanders has now failed to exceed the average running back's point total in any week this year.
Next week will bring a much easier match for Big Tex's Pillow Biters, as they play the 1-6 DenBro. Big Tex's Pillow Biters will get to face DenBro while that squad is in the middle of a four game losing streak. As for Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum, they will square off against The Brainers.
Week 8 · Nov 02, 2021 02:23 pm ET
Sabotage
Kyler Murray's terrible day helps sink SkinFan
Scoring the fewest points in the league for the week is bad strategy. Just ask Coach Tim Fabrizio. SkinFan suffered a huge loss to Homesick Abortions, going down 66 to 39. Blowouts are par for the course for these teams these days. SkinFan has been involved in three straight blowout games, while this is the 2nd straight blowout game for Homesick Abortions.
Homesick Abortions are now 3 - 5 after picking up their first back-to-back wins of the season. The loss drops SkinFan's record to an identical 3 - 5.
Nick Folk led a very balanced group of five overperformers for Homesick Abortions this week, delivering 15 points. Folk's performance late on Sunday took him from the 2nd best kicker to the best kicker in the league.
Homesick Abortions also got a better-than-expected performance from Carson Wentz, who beat his projections by 4 points. Wentz has now overperformed the experts' predictions in five straight games.
Meanwhile, Kyler Murray was the main culprit in SkinFan's loss, managing only 2 points.1 Murray fell farther short of his expected points than any other player this week.
In addition to Murray, SkinFan had four other underperforming players this week, including Zack Moss, who scored only 1 point. SkinFan has never won when Moss failed to hit his expected points, going 0 - 3. SkinFan only had one player who gave a passable performance this week, with Stefon Diggs scoring 8 points.2
The schedule for SkinFan brings Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum around next week. That team will limp into next week's game having posted less than 45 points each of the last two weeks. Both SkinFan and Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum come into that game licking their wounds after getting thoroughly knocked around by their opponents. Coach Chris Crowder should hope that the victory over a sub-.500 team like SkinFan establishes a pattern, as their next game is against league doormat DenBro.
Week 8 · Nov 02, 2021 02:23 pm ET
Carrying the Load
Chris Godwin brings the goods in a game against Zombie Werewolves
Alcoholnics didn't have too many spare points in their win against Zombie Werewolves, taking this one 56 to 51. The win must seem like deja vu for Alcoholnics, who won the last game with Zombie Werewolves by a 56 to 50 margin.
The win was Alcoholnics' 3rd in their last four games, bringing their record to 6 - 2. The loss drops Zombie Werewolves' record to 4 - 4.
Chris Godwin and Melvin Gordon were the key contributors for Alcoholnics, dropping 13 and 12 points, respectively. Godwin's 13 points represent the most he's had this year. He earned some style points at the end of this reception with a vicious stiff arm.
Meanwhile, Zombie Werewolves saw five different players underperform, and while none of them particularly stuck out, Odell Beckham and his zero points was officially the worst.1 Bad performances are pretty common these days for Beckham, who has now underperformed the experts' predictions in six straight games.
Zombie Werewolves also had to deal with a poor effort from Derrick Henry (6.2 points below expected). King Henry's performances have been a good barometer for Zombie Werewolves this season, as they have gone 1 - 3 when he fails to meet his expectations, and 3 - 1 when he meets them.
Adding injury to insult, Zombie Werewolves had a key player go down. Jameis Winston's season is over after tearing his ACL.
Next week will see Alcoholnics taking on the 6 - 2 Big Tex's Pillow Biters. The game will be a clash of the titans, as those are the two top teams in the league. As for Zombie Werewolves, they will match up with Pinko Commie Bastards.
Week 8 · Nov 02, 2021 02:23 pm ET
Don't Test Me
Darrell Henderson's 16 points sinks Pinko Commie Bastards
After coming up with all of 2 points last week, Darrell Henderson came up clutch this week. Henderson led the way as Black Micahs sneaked past Pinko Commie Bastards, winning 54 to 53. His 16 points were the most of any running back this week. He didn't get any fantasy points for it, but he was great in the blocking game also.
Pinko Commie Bastards are bound to have a hard time winning when Jalen Hurts has a bad week, and that's just what happened. Hurts was one of three big underperformers, combining with James Robinson and Matt Prater to score 9 points. Hurts' performance this week broke his four game streak of surpassing his projections.
Coach Erran Yearty certainly can't blame the loss on A.J. Brown, who scored 14 points.
The win evens up Black Micahs' record at 4 - 4. The loss was Pinko Commie Bastards' 3rd in their last four games, bringing their record to 3 - 5.
Black Micahs will try to make it two in a row versus The Brainers next week. Bad timing for Black Micahs, as The Brainers will come into the matchup on a four game winning streak.
Meanwhile, Pinko Commie Bastards will take on Zombie Werewolves. These two teams squared off in week three, when Pinko Commie Bastards lost 56 to 43.
Week 8 · Nov 02, 2021 02:23 pm ET
Called It
Tom Brady made sure this game lived up to expectations
This was expected to be a blowout, and The Brainers didn't disappoint. They destroyed Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum, winning 72 to 45. With those 72 points, The Brainers had the most points in the league for the 2nd straight week.
The win brings The Brainers to 4 - 4, and sends them to the top of our internal power rankings. Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum are now 5 - 3 after suffering their first back-to-back losses of the season.
Two of the key players in this fight were real-life teammates, as The Brainers' Tom Brady squared off against Ryan Succop. While they were on the same team, they sure didn't deliver the same result. For Tom Brady's part, he put up 22 points for The Brainers. TB12 overperformed his expectations by more than any other player.
On the other hand, Ryan Succop was not living up to his star status, racking up only 3 points. That's the fewest points that he's scored so far this year.
The rest of Coach Chuck Rittenhouse's lineup followed Brady's lead, scoring 50 more points. That group was led by Austin Ekeler, who scored 12 points. Ekeler showed off unreal determination in staying on his feet and somehow carrying the pile across the goal line.
Next week will feature a mirror image matchup as the 4 - 4 Brainers will take on the 4 - 4 Black Micahs. The game will be a rematch from week one, and Coach Rittenhouse will no doubt be worried that Patrick Mahomes will drop another 28 points for Black Micahs like he did the last time those teams faced off.
Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum's next game will be against SkinFan in a rematch from week five. Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum won the previous matchup easily. Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum won't have DK Metcalf available to start in next week's contest.
Week 8 · Nov 02, 2021 02:23 pm ET
End of the Line
Big Tex's Pillow Biters can't extend their winning streak past Josh Allen and DenBro
Coach Don Zimmerman really needed someone to lend them a hand and help end their four game losing streak. Coach William Hayes was only too happy to help. DenBro got the job done against Big Tex's Pillow Biters, winning 57 to 46. The win helped DenBro halt Big Tex's Pillow Biters' six game winning streak.
The win brings DenBro's record to 2 - 6, while dropping Big Tex's Pillow Biters to 6 - 2.
Josh Allen was expected to be the top performing QB this week, and that's exactly what he was. Allen was the key contributor for DenBro, totaling 22 points.
The Broncos Defense/ST helped out as well, exceeding their projected point total by 5.7 points. The Broncos' performance this week ended a four game streak of failing to hit their projections.
DenBro got the win despite leaving the Eagles Defense/ST and their 19 points on the bench. No other player riding the pine did better this week.
Meanwhile, Big Tex's Pillow Biters really lost this game as a team. They were brought down by four underperformers, the worst of whom was Leonard Fournette (1 point).1 That made him the worst performer on Big Tex's Pillow Biters for the first time this year. Big Tex's Pillow Biters only had one player who gave a passable performance this week, with Adam Thielen scoring 9 points.2
DenBro will be going against Homesick Abortions next week. Homesick Abortions will come into the game with some momentum, having posted back-to-back 65+ point games. DenBro will have to deal with Cooper Kupp in that one, and then follow that up with matchups against fellow top wide receivers Deebo Samuel and Cordarrelle Patterson.
Big Tex's Pillow Biters were maybe caught looking ahead of the schedule, dropping this easy one against DenBro with a tough match against Alcoholnics looming. That game should be a good one, as it is between the league's two best teams.
Week 9 · Nov 09, 2021 02:05 pm ET
Leading the Charge
Lamar Jackson put Alcoholnics on his back for the win
Alcoholnics had traditionally struggled against Big Tex's Pillow Biters, losing 20 out of the 25 games that they've played, but Coach Nick Claeboe put those struggles in the rear view mirror this week. Alcoholnics skated by Big Tex's Pillow Biters pretty easily, winning 63 to 50.
Alcoholnics now have the best record in the league at 7 - 2. After suffering their first back-to-back losses of the season, Big Tex's Pillow Biters sits at 6 - 3.
Alcoholnics relied heavily on Lamar Jackson, who totaled 22 points. Good performances are nothing new for Jackson, who has been the top performer on Alcoholnics more times than any other player. He was somehow able to top both of the Vikings stars at the QB and RB position by himself.
Meanwhile, D'Ernest Johnson was clearly the weakest link for Coach William Hayes and the gang as he dropped zero points. Ezekiel Elliott falling 4 points short of his expectations didn't help matters much either. Zeke's performances have closely tracked the fortunes of Big Tex's Pillow Biters this season, as they have gone 1 - 3 when he fails to meet his expectations, and 3 - 0 when he meets them.
Alcoholnics wasn't just winning on the field this week, but also chalked up a win in the front office. Coach Claeboe picked up the Dolphins Defense/ST off the waiver wire and saw them score 17 points (on the bench, but still).
Next week, Alcoholnics will take on the 3 - 6 Pinko Commie Bastards. Alcoholnics might be feeling pretty confident about that game, as Pinko Commie Bastards limps in on a three game losing streak.
Unfortunately for Big Tex's Pillow Biters, they will play Homesick Abortions next week, who is riding a three-game win streak. That will be a rematch from week five, when Big Tex's Pillow Biters won by only 1 point.
Week 9 · Nov 09, 2021 02:05 pm ET
Do You Believe in Miracles?
James Conner says, "YES!"
Coach Erran Yearty probably wanted to take a vacation after last week's down-to-the-wire contest. Unfortunately, it was his team that took this week off. Pinko Commie Bastards got beat down by Zombie Werewolves, losing 82 to 64. Zombie Werewolves was one of only two teams that Pinko Commie Bastards didn't outscore this week.
The defeat is the 3rd in a row for Pinko Commie Bastards, which leaves them with a 3 - 6 record. The win gets Zombie Werewolves back above .500 at 5 - 4.
Zombie Werewolves, who were the underdog in this matchup, had a so-so start during the early Sunday games. The Saints Defense/ST were the culprit, scoring only 2 points. The Saints have now been the worst starter on their team two times this season.
Meanwhile, Pinko Commie Bastards were showing Coach Patrick jolle how it's supposed to be done. Jonathan Taylor led the charge, scoring 22 points. Taylor reached an NFL-high top speed of 22.05 MPH on this 78-yard TD run.
Going into late Sunday, our projections gave Zombie Werewolves only a 0.4% chance of winning. Coach Jolle's squad blew those projections out of the water. Three players for Zombie Werewolves beat their projections, with James Conner scoring 20.2 points more than expected. It was enough to give Zombie Werewolves an unlikely victory.
Coach Jolle certainly deserved the win, given their lineup decisions. They started two players that the experts thought should be riding the pine. One of those picks, Adrian Peterson, worked out. The other pick, Younghoe Koo, did not.
Overall, these moves gave Zombie Werewolves an extra 3 points, which only added to Zombie Werewolves' domination. Coach Jolle's decisions this week allow them to relinquish their title as the worst gameday coach in the league (Coach Micah Russell wears the crown now).
Next week Pinko Commie Bastards will take on Alcoholnics in a battle that features the top two gameday coaches in the league. The game will be a rematch from week two, and Coach Yearty needs to be concerned about Lamar Jackson, who scored 22 points for Alcoholnics the last time these two teams met.
It was important for Zombie Werewolves to get the win over an easy opponent this week, as its next two games are against winning teams, starting with Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum next week. Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum will have to put their running back depth to the test in that one, as Joe Mixon has his bye week.

Taking the Reins
The Brainers gets a big effort from the Patriots Defense/ST this week
The Brainers came into this match-up riding high on a four game winning streak. Make it five. They took down Black Micahs handily, winning 41 to 30. The two teams combined for the lowest score so far this season.
Black Micahs are now 4 - 5 after losing three out of their last four games. The win brings The Brainers to 5 - 4.
The rest of Coach Chuck Rittenhouse's team were basically spectating, as the Patriots Defense/ST, Travis Kelce, and Najee Harris combined for 88% of The Brainers' points. After Kelce's performance this week, he moved up to being the best tight end in the league.
There were five underperformers keeping The Brainers from a proper victory, with Joe Burrow (1 point) being the worst of them.1 Burrow threw this brutal 99 yard pick-six (while also getting juked out of his shoes).
Meanwhile, Coach Micah Russell will have a hard time pinning the blame for this loss on any particular player. Black Micahs had seven underperformers, with Khalil Herbert (zero points) being the worst. Herbert is in the midst of a troubling sequence, having seen his point total fall every week for the last three weeks.
Patrick Mahomes added to Black Micahs' troubles, scoring 8 points. Showtime has now been the worst performing starter in the league over the last three weeks. Black Micahs only had one player who gave a passable performance this week, with Harrison Butker scoring 9 points.
The Brainers will be going against SkinFan next week. Coach Rittenhouse will be happy to see that SkinFan is coming into next week's game having scored less than 40 points in their previous two games. Meanwhile, Black Micahs will be playing DenBro.
Week 9 · Nov 09, 2021 02:05 pm ET
All Too Easy
Nick Chubb led the charge in a blowout
In a week that featured three blowouts, this was the biggest. Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum stomped all over SkinFan 67 to 34. Blowouts are par for the course for these teams these days. Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum has been involved in three straight blowout games, while this is the 5th straight blowout game for SkinFan.
The win brings Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum's record to 6 - 3, while dropping SkinFan to 3 - 6.
Nick Chubb did about as good for Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum this week as he did bad last week. Chubb joined up with Joe Mixon to score 55% of Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum's points. Chubb contributed a 20 point performance, which was good for 3rd place among all players this week.1 He used a combination of great inside running and top-end speed to go 70 yards to the house.
Matthew Stafford has been clutch for SkinFan this year, but failed to show up this week. Stafford and the 49ers Defense/ST combined to record 8 points for SkinFan. Stafford's 6 points were the fewest he has scored so far this year. His performance this week also ended a three game streak of beating the experts' projections.
Stafford and the 49ers were joined by six other underperformers, including Evan McPherson, who scored only 4 points.
Both teams have a tough upcoming schedule. Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum will face off against Zombie Werewolves next week. Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum will have long odds to win if Zombie Werewolves scores another 82 points, like they did this week. Zombie Werewolves will get to slot James Conner into the lineup, who has been the best player in the league over the past three weeks.
Hopefully losing to a good opponent like Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum doesn't become a trend for SkinFan, who begins a difficult two game stretch next week starting with The Brainers. The contest will see some top shelf QB play, as Matthew Stafford meets up with Tom Brady.
Week 9 · Nov 09, 2021 02:05 pm ET
I'll Have Another
Carson Wentz and Homesick Abortions stay hot against DenBro
DenBro showed off the form that earned them the worst record in the league going into this week. They were on the losing side of a blowout, falling 52 to 32 at the hands of Homesick Abortions. DenBro just barely beat Homesick Abortions back in week three, so the reversal of fortune this week seems fair.
Homesick Abortions have now won three games in a row, bringing their record to 4 - 5. The loss drops DenBro's record to 2 - 7.
Homesick Abortions had two main stars in Carson Wentz and Justin Jefferson, who together scored 30 points. That makes it six straight games of overperforming expectations for Wentz. He has now been playing like a legitimate fantasy starter over his past six games.
Coach Chris Crowder's squad overcame poor performances from Aaron Jones and Mark Ingram (5 points combined) in getting this win. That makes it seven straight games where Ingram has underperformed the league average running back.
Meanwhile, Josh Allen loomed large in the loss for DenBro, tallying 1 point.1 Allen hopefully has some credit left over from last week's 22 point performance. He had to have given the most disappointing performance, having been projected to score 21.7 points.
DenBro also had to deal with a bad performance from Brandin Cooks, who scored only 2 points. DenBro has never won when Cooks failed to hit his expected points, going 0 - 3. DenBro only had one player who gave a passable performance this week, with Mike Badgley scoring 9 points.
These teams will see a difference in the quality of their upcoming opponents. Next week, DenBro will be playing Black Micahs. Points were in short supply for that team this week, as they could only scrounge up 30 of them.
Homesick Abortions' next two games are against winning teams, starting with Big Tex's Pillow Biters next week. That contest will be a rematch from week five, when Homesick Abortions ended up losing by the heartbreaking total of 1 point.

Too Deep
Hunter Henry's 13 points aren't needed to finish off Alcoholnics
Pinko Commie Bastards get to go home happy for the first time in four weeks. They demolished Alcoholnics, winning 57 to 39. Pinko Commie Bastards' win ended Alcoholnics' three game winning streak.
The win brings Pinko Commie Bastards' record to 4 - 6, while dropping Alcoholnics to 7 - 3.
Pinko Commie Bastards won with a balanced effort, as five players outperformed their positional averages. George Kittle was just a bit ahead of the others, racking up 8 points.1 The game would have been an even bigger blowout if Pinko Commie Bastards had Hunter Henry and his 13 points in the starting lineup. Henry did better than any player actually in Pinko Commie Bastards' starting lineup this week.2
Josh Jacobs stuck out as the worst performer for Alcoholnics, recording only 1 point. Jacobs has now been the worst performing starter in the league over the last three weeks.
Michael Pittman has to share in some of the blame as well, coming up with 4.4 fewer points than he was expected to. Pittman's performance this week broke his three game streak of surpassing his projections. The Colts Defense/ST was the only player on the team that didn't underperform, scoring 12 points.
There's a favorable schedule ahead for both teams. It's smooth sailing for Pinko Commie Bastards after taking down Alcoholnics. Their next two games are against light competition, starting with DenBro.
As for Alcoholnics, they will match up with SkinFan. Good timing, as SkinFan will come into the matchup on a three game losing streak.

Fortunate Son
Dak Prescott helps Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum to a lucky win
By a score of 43 to 33, Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum walked away victorious over Zombie Werewolves. Big time luck for Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum in this contest, as they would have lost against all but one other team.
Thanks to the loss, Zombie Werewolves have now come out on the losing end of three of their last four games, moving their record to 5 - 5. The win brings Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum to 7 - 3.
Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum had never lost when Dak Prescott overperformed his expectations, and that held true again this week. Dak separated himself from the rest of the crew on Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum, notching 21 points. This is the 3rd time this year that he has paced Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum. He looked every bit like a quarterback entering his prime after making this hot read and putting the ball exactly where it needed to be.
Meanwhile, the loss for Zombie Werewolves came down to a pretty simple factor: they didn't go anywhere. Collectively, they only managed to gain 202 yards rushing and receiving. That was the lowest yards gained total of any team this week. Zombie Werewolves can place the blame for this result squarely on Adrian Peterson, who gained only 20 total yards.
Coach Patrick jolle could have won this game with the right lineup. They started Peterson instead of Elijah Mitchell, despite the experts' prediction that Mitchell should have played.
This decision cost Zombie Werewolves a total of 3 points. If Coach Jolle had left Peterson on the bench and also started Mac Jones, Zombie Werewolves would have won the game.
The strength of schedule diverges for these squads next week. Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum's next game will be against Homesick Abortions in a rematch from week four. Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum absolutely demolished Homesick Abortions, winning by 38 points. Homesick Abortions will have to play without Cooper Kupp, who has a bye week.
Meanwhile, Zombie Werewolves will collide with The Brainers next week. Bad timing for Zombie Werewolves, as The Brainers will come into the matchup on a six game winning streak. The game will be a rematch from week five, and Coach Jolle will no doubt be hoping that Justin Herbert can drop 37 points like he did last time.

Don't Count Me Out
Deebo Samuel and Black Micahs beat the odds to get the win
Both DenBro and Black Micahs entered this game ice cold. DenBro had scored the fewest points of any team over the last three weeks, while Black Micahs had scored the second fewest points of any team over the last three weeks. Black Micahs shrugged off their troubles this week though.
Black Micahs earned a nice victory over DenBro, winning 55 to 45. The win gets Black Micahs back to .500 with a 5 - 5 record. The loss drops DenBro's record to 2 - 8.
Black Micahs stumbled big time right from the get-go. Matt Ryan really stunk it up, scoring negative 2 points. Ryan wasn't just bad, but actually put up the worst passer rating (21.4) of his entire career.
Meanwhile, Coach Don Zimmerman's squad was doing pretty good. They were powered by the duo of Josh Allen and Mike Badgley, who scored 15 and 11 points, respectively. Allen's 13.1 YPA on Sunday was the highest for any quarterback over the past two years.
Going into late Sunday, our projections gave Black Micahs only a 11.8% chance of winning. Coach Micah Russell's squad blew those projections out of the water. Deebo Samuel and Tyreek Hill combined to score 18.4 more points than they were expected to, which brought Black Micahs back from the dead and into the winner's circle.
Coach Russell might have gotten the victory this week, but it wasn't due to their efforts. They left Patrick Mahomes and his 17.4 expected points on the bench, favoring Matt Ryan (11.6 points expected).
This terrible decision shaved 35 points from Black Micahs' score, which ultimately didn't make a difference in the final outcome. Having cost their team 76 points total, Coach Russell are the worst game-day coach in the league so far this season.
Next week will see DenBro taking on the 4 - 6 Pinko Commie Bastards. Pinko Commie Bastards won this week, but that might be a good thing for DenBro, since Pinko Commie Bastards has yet to win back-to-back games. As for Black Micahs, they will square off against Big Tex's Pillow Biters next week.

Pick Six
CeeDee Lamb and The Brainers take down SkinFan for their 6th win in a row
The Brainers (6 - 4) got this win with a little bit in reserve, earning a 64 to 57 victory over SkinFan (3 - 7). The 64 points The Brainers scored set the high mark for the league this week.
The result fits the recent pattern for both of these teams. The win makes it six in a row for The Brainers. The loss is the 3rd straight for SkinFan.
CeeDee Lamb was the clear leader on The Brainers this week, producing 16 points. That made him the top performer on The Brainers for the first time this year. With 94 receiving yards and two touchdowns, CeeDee Lamb became the first Cowboy reciever to ever go for 1,500+ yards and 10+ TDs in his first 25 games.
The only real bad apple in The Brainers' orchard this week was Courtland Sutton, who scored 1 point. Underperforming is the new normal for Sutton, who has gone four straight games without hitting his projected point total.
Meanwhile, Coach Tim Fabrizio will find no easy scapegoat for this week's loss. Matthew Stafford was the worst of a four man group of underperformers on SkinFan, putting up only 5 points.1 The four overperformers on Coach Fabrizio's squad did their part to balance things out (and then some). Stefon Diggs was the best of them, scoring 14 points.2
On the coaching front, the gap in coaching ability was on display this week. Coach Chuck Rittenhouse followed the experts' advice for each position and ended up with a perfect lineup. He was the only coach this week to pull that off.
Coach Fabrizio have to place a big part of the blame for this loss on themself. They went with Marquise Brown over the higher ranked Mike Evans. This decision took a 8 point chunk out of SkinFan's final score, which cost them the game.
The schedule for The Brainers brings Zombie Werewolves around next week. That team will limp into the contest having posted only 33 points this week. These two teams squared off in week five, when The Brainers won 116 to 105.
Meanwhile, SkinFan will take on Alcoholnics. SkinFan won't have Matthew Stafford available to start in that contest.
Week 10 · Nov 16, 2021 01:25 pm ET
No Streak For You!
Ezekiel Elliott and Big Tex's Pillow Biters deny Homesick Abortions a 4th straight win
Big Tex's Pillow Biters came into the game as the biggest favorite this week and proceeded to make the experts look good. They ended up well ahead of Homesick Abortions, winning 58 to 44. That win stopped Homesick Abortions' winning streak at three games.
The win brings Big Tex's Pillow Biters' record to 7 - 3, while dropping Homesick Abortions to 4 - 6.
Three players (Ezekiel Elliott, Mark Andrews, and the Bills Defense/ST) delivered victory to Big Tex's Pillow Biters, getting 36 of their team's 58 points. The Bills have now gone three weeks without dipping below the average Defense/ST's points. They have ridden that consistency to become the best Defense/ST in the league.
Aaron Rodgers provided the only truly sour note for Big Tex's Pillow Biters this week, as he scored 3 points.
Meanwhile, Carson Wentz hadn't dropped the ball for Homesick Abortions since week three's stinker. Well, that run has come to an end. Homesick Abortions had many underperformers, but Wentz stood out, tallying only 3 points.1 His performance this week was a spectacularly bad finish to his six game streak of beating the league average.
The outcome of this one would have been different if Coach Chris Crowder had gotten all of his lineup picks right. He started Dawson Knox instead of Zach Ertz, despite the experts' prediction that Ertz should have played.
This decision shaved 2 points from Homesick Abortions' score. If Coach Crowder had left Knox on the bench and also started Cam Newton and Mark Ingram, Homesick Abortions would have won the game.
Next week will see Big Tex's Pillow Biters taking on the 5 - 5 Black Micahs. Meanwhile, Homesick Abortions will be playing Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum.

Relief
Stefon Diggs' 13 points help get SkinFan back on track
SkinFan had lost both matches against Alcoholnics last season, but finally got sweet revenge this week. SkinFan gave Alcoholnics a 68 to 42 drubbing. The victory ended SkinFan's three game losing streak.
Alcoholnics had their first back-to-back losses of the season, bringing their record to 7 - 4. The win brings SkinFan to 4 - 7.
SkinFan got good efforts from almost everyone on the squad, with six players topping their positional averages. Stefon Diggs was the best of the bunch, delivering 13 points. Evan McPherson was kept on SkinFan's bench in the victory, but he didn't let that discourage him, as he went off for 21 points. McPherson's performance this week was better than every other bench-rider in the league.
Coach Nick Claeboe can blame the loss on the Titans Defense/ST, Josh Jacobs, and C.J. Uzomah, who together managed only 2 points. It's yet another disappointing day for Uzomah, who has now underperformed the experts' predictions in three straight games.
Coach Tim Fabrizio can rest a bit after this big victory since the next two games are against sub .500 teams, starting with Pinko Commie Bastards next week. That said, Pinko Commie Bastards will get to start the league's hottest player in Jonathan Taylor. Meanwhile, Alcoholnics will take on Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum next week.

Monster
Justin Jefferson scores 20 points to help put away Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum
Coach Chris Crowder has put together the 2nd best group of wide receivers, and they showed their mettle again this week. Homesick Abortions used a big game from their wide receivers to take down Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum 77 to 66. Justin Jefferson scored 20 points, while D.J. Moore scored 8. Jefferson's 20 point performance was the most that any wide receiver collected this week.
Homesick Abortions also got a big effort from D'Andre Swift (7.4 points above expected). Swift provided the lone spark for the Lions with this beautiful 57-yard touchdown run.
Meanwhile, Dak Prescott had avoided having a bad day for Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum since week two's 2 point performance, but he sure didn't have it this week. Dak loomed large in the loss for Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum, scoring -2 points. No other player scored fewer points than that this week.
Homesick Abortions improve to 5 - 6 after winning four out of their last five games. The loss drops Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum's record to 7 - 4.
Homesick Abortions will try to make it two in a row versus Black Micahs next week. Black Micahs will have to put their quarterback depth to the test in that one, as Patrick Mahomes has his bye week.
As for Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum, they will square off against Alcoholnics. Coach Wetzel can look forward to facing Alcoholnics at an opportune time. Alcoholnics has scored less than 55 points in their last two games heading into this one.

Taylor Made
Jonathan Taylor (39 points) leads Pinko Commie Bastards to a win over DenBro
It's not that hard to win when you get the league's top performance for the season, and Jonathan Taylor delivered that performance. Jonathan Taylor was the key component as Pinko Commie Bastards crushed DenBro, winning 83 to 49. Taylor has now overperformed the experts' predictions in seven straight games. His fourth touchdown of the day (out of five!) might have been his prettiest.
Meanwhile, DenBro didn't have anybody who was too hot, or too cold, but this Goldilocks outcome was not 'just right'. Mike Badgley paced the team by beating the average kicker by 3.6 points, while David Montgomery (5.7 points worse than the average running back) was the worst on the team. Montgomery's 2 points made him the worst starter on his team for the 2nd time this season.
Pinko Commie Bastards got their first back-to-back wins of the season, bringing their record to 5 - 6. The loss makes it three in a row for DenBro, and puts their record at 2 - 9.
Next week, Pinko Commie Bastards will be playing SkinFan. Meanwhile, DenBro will collide with Zombie Werewolves.
Week 11 · Nov 23, 2021 01:37 pm ET
Uh...Maybe Next Time
Austin Ekeler helps The Brainers win a laugher this week against Zombie Werewolves
The Brainers came into this game with a six game winning streak. They left with seven. Coach Chuck Rittenhouse's team took everything from Zombie Werewolves but the kitchen sink this week, winning 102 to 59. With those 102 points, The Brainers had the most points in the league for the 2nd straight week.
With the win, they moved to 7 - 4, good for the top spot in the East Side division. The loss drops Zombie Werewolves' record to 5 - 6.
The Brainers got more than half their points from just two players: Austin Ekeler and the Patriots Defense/ST. Ekeler alone scored 29 points, which topped all but one player this week. He scored four touchdowns, making all of his fantasy managers (including himself) happy.
The Brainers also got the 2nd highest tight end score this week via Travis Kelce, who scored 9 points. It was, unfortunately, a costly win for The Brainers. CeeDee Lamb was knocked out of the Chiefs game right before halftime with a concussion, but the Cowboys are hopeful he'll be back by the Thursday game.
Meanwhile, Zombie Werewolves suffered through poor performances from Younghoe Koo, Adrian Peterson, and Hunter Renfrow, who collectively scored only 3 points. Koo scored zero points, which were fewer than every other kicker this week. Unfortunately, more bad performances might be on tap for Koo, who has seen his point total drop in each of the last four weeks.
The only real legit performance that Zombie Werewolves got came courtesy of Justin Herbert, who scored 25 points.
On the coaching front, one coach's brilliance, and another's ineptitude, were demonstrated this week. The Brainers benefited from smart coaching this week. Coach Rittenhouse started the Patriots Defense/ST instead of the Dolphins Defense/ST, despite the experts' prediction that the Dolphins should have played.
This decision gave The Brainers a nice 19 point bonus, which just made the final result that much more embarrassing. The good decision is just more of the same for Coach Rittenhouse, whose gameday decisions have been some of the best in the league this season.
Meanwhile, Coach Patrick jolle were busy costing their team points, just like they did last week. They started two players that the experts thought should be riding the pine. One of those picks, Darren Waller, worked out. The other pick, Younghoe Koo, did not.
Overall, these moves cost Zombie Werewolves a total of 6 points. Despite things not working out, expect more risk taking from Coach Jolle, who have gone against the experts more times than any other coach in the league.
These teams will see a difference in the quality of their upcoming opponents. The Brainers will face off against Big Tex's Pillow Biters next week. There are likely to be some fireworks in that one, as it features the two highest scoring teams in the league.
Next week Zombie Werewolves will have a much easier challenge as they take on the anemic DenBro. Zombie Werewolves will get to face DenBro while that squad is in the middle of a three game losing streak.

Nothing to It
Aaron Rodgers helps Big Tex's Pillow Biters cruise to victory
This was expected to be a close game. It was anything but. Big Tex's Pillow Biters made it look easy against Black Micahs, winning 64 to 40. The win is part of a larger trend for Big Tex's Pillow Biters. In each of the last three weeks they have scored more points than the week before.
Big Tex's Pillow Biters now have the best record in the league at 8 - 3. The loss drops Black Micahs back below .500 at 5 - 6.
The bulk of Big Tex's Pillow Biters' squad was playing during the early Sunday slate, and the early start time suited them real nice. They were powered by Aaron Rodgers, who scored 29 points. Quite an improvement from last week, when Rodgers managed only 3 points.
Big Tex's Pillow Biters also got a big effort from Davante Adams (10.2 points above expected). Adams might have pulled off the juke of the year that set up this completely open touchdown.
Meanwhile, Coach Micah Russell's squad just couldn't quite get it going. Mike Davis was the worst of a three man group of underperformers, scoring only 1 point. Coach Russell found out why he was available on the waiver wire this week.
Going into the Sunday late games, Black Micahs were already a long shot to win. After Patrick Mahomes scored only 1 point, the game was over. A solid performance for Black Micahs by the Buccaneers Defense/ST on Monday night was not nearly enough for a comeback.
In addition to the loss, Coach Russell didn't exactly bolster their 'Coach of the Year' campaign. They went with Mike Davis over the higher ranked Clyde Edwards-Helaire.
This decision cost Black Micahs a total of 8 points, and makes it back-to-back weeks now where Coach Russell have cost their team points.
The scoreboard operator might be kept busy when Big Tex's Pillow Biters and The Brainers, the two highest scoring teams in the league, face off next week. Big Tex's Pillow Biters will face off against Tom Brady in that game, part of a three game stretch against tough quarterbacks which will see them take on Justin Herbert and Tom Brady in the following weeks.
As for Black Micahs, they will take on Homesick Abortions in a battle of two 5 - 6 teams. The contest will see Deebo Samuel taking on Cooper Kupp in a battle between the top two wide receivers in the league.

That's All Folks
The Brainers' run ends with a loss to Leonard Fournette and Big Tex's Pillow Biters
The Brainers came into this week's match-up on a seven-game win streak, but Big Tex's Pillow Biters put an end to that. Big Tex's Pillow Biters thoroughly dominated The Brainers, winning 106 to 43. The 63 point margin that separated these teams represents the biggest blowout of the season.
Big Tex's Pillow Biters have now finished off three straight opponents after this win, which brings their record to 9 - 3. The loss drops The Brainers' record to 7 - 5.
Two of the key players in this fight were real-life teammates, as Big Tex's Pillow Biters' Leonard Fournette squared off against Tom Brady. While they were on the same team, they sure didn't deliver the same result. Leonard Fournette did great for Big Tex's Pillow Biters, dropping 30 points. Fournette put an exclamation point on the Bucs win with this hard-charging touchdown with 20 seconds left.
On the flip side, Tom Brady was not having a typical Tom Brady week, notching only 7 points. That's the 2nd worst game that TB12 has produced this year.
The other players on Big Tex's Pillow Biters had Fournette's back, coming up with 76 points. Of that crew, Aaron Rodgers led the way with 22 points. Big Tex's Pillow Biters is still perfect in games where Rodgers overperforms, going 7 - 0.
Big Tex's Pillow Biters will be going against Zombie Werewolves next week. Big Tex's Pillow Biters have now been an underdog in both the last two weeks, and won both times. Maybe they'll get a bit more credit going into their next one. As for The Brainers, they will square off against DenBro next week.

Piece of Cake
Joe Mixon leaves Alcoholnics in the rear view mirror
After knocking Alcoholnics out of the playoffs last year, you might expect Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum to give 'em a break this week. Well, they didn't. Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum destroyed Alcoholnics, winning 62 to 38.
With the win, Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum have now won three out of their last four games, bringing their record to 8 - 4. The loss drops Alcoholnics' record to 7 - 5.
Joe Mixon has been coming through for Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum all year, and this week was no different. Mixon teamed up with Dak Prescott and Pat Freiermuth to provide 76% of Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum's points. Mixon kicked in a 20 point performance, which was good for 4th place among all players this week.1 He not only got the Bengals to 40 with this touchdown, but also led a solid dance routine after with his O-Line.
Lamar Jackson and Chris Godwin were double trouble for Alcoholnics, together posting only 2 points. Godwin scored -1 points, which were fewer than every other wide receiver this season. He got five targets and a rushing attempt but was only able to turn that into 27 yards from scrimmage and a fumble.
Jackson and Godwin had plenty of company, with Terry McLaurin (2 points) being the worst of four other underperformers.
Having forgotten to set his lineup last week, it seems Coach Claeboe has returned to the living this week. He started the Colts Defense/ST instead of the Titans Defense/ST, despite the experts' prediction that the Titans should have played.
This decision netted Coach Claeboe an extra 4 points, which obviously wasn't close to enough. Coach Claeboe's lineup moves this week allowed him to move into positive territory for the year, giving his team 2 points more than the experts would have.
He is probably happy with how his team has played this season, but he has to be concerned about his team's recent performance. Alcoholnics have now lost their last three games. Coach Claeboe will have to hope things turn around in next week's matchup with Homesick Abortions. Meanwhile, Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum will collide with Pinko Commie Bastards.
Week 12 · Nov 30, 2021 02:42 pm ET
Getting Up Off the Mat
Deebo Samuel and Black Micahs comeback strong
Coach Chris Crowder picked a bad week to make a bad lineup. He went with Cam Newton over the higher ranked Carson Wentz.
This decision took a 14 point chunk out of Homesick Abortions' final score and cost them the game, as they just didn't have enough against Black Micahs (6 - 6), losing 55 to 52.
Black Micahs had a bad start during the early Sunday games. They had four underperformers, with Ka'imi Fairbairn (2 points) bringing up the rear. Fairbairn's performance in this, the first time he made it into the starting lineup, does not augur much for future playing time.
Black Micahs also had to deal with a poor effort from Matt Ryan (5.5 points below expected). Ryan has now been the worst performing starter in the league over the last three weeks.
Meanwhile, Homesick Abortions were at least doing decent. The tag team of Nick Folk and Dawson Knox took the lead, scoring 34 points between them. Knox scored 13 points, which were the most of any tight end this week.
Going into late Sunday, our projections gave Black Micahs only a 5.4% chance of winning. Coach Micah Russell's squad blew those projections out of the water. Deebo Samuel and Randall Cobb scored 10.8 more points than they were expected to, which was enough to give Black Micahs an unlikely victory.
Next week, Homesick Abortions will take on the 7 - 5 Alcoholnics. Homesick Abortions couldn't have asked for a much better time to play Alcoholnics, who is currently on a three game losing streak. As for Black Micahs, they will match up with SkinFan.

Down But Not Out
Elijah Mitchell says, "YES!"
After last week's blowout, Zombie Werewolves got a big change of pace with this week's tight contest versus DenBro. They squeaked past DenBro, winning 58 to 56. Zombie Werewolves won despite being projected to lose by more points than any other team (12 point underdog).
The win brings Zombie Werewolves back to even at 6 - 6. This loss brings DenBro's losing streak to four in a row, putting their record at 2 - 10.
Zombie Werewolves stumbled big time right from the get-go. They had three laggards, with Adrian Peterson's zero points being the worst performance. This is the 2nd time this year that he was the worst starter on his team.
Zombie Werewolves also had to deal with a poor effort from Younghoe Koo (4.7 points below expected). Koo has now underperformed the experts' predictions in three straight games.
Meanwhile, DenBro were at least doing decent. Josh Allen carried the water, scoring 23 points. Allen's performance this week stopped his three game streak of not meeting his projections.
Going into late Sunday, our projections gave Zombie Werewolves only a 8.6% chance of winning. Coach Patrick jolle's squad blew those projections out of the water. Elijah Mitchell and Odell Beckham Jr. combined to score 15.6 more points than they were expected to, which brought Zombie Werewolves back from the dead and into the winner's circle.
Coach Jolle can pat themself on the back for this week's victory. They started two players that the experts thought should be riding the pine. One of those picks, OBJ, worked out. The other pick, Darren Waller, did not.
Overall, these decisions netted Zombie Werewolves a total of 3 points, which ended up winning them the game. Coach Jolle's decisions this week allow them to relinquish their title as the worst gameday coach in the league (Coach Micah Russell wears the crown now).
Coach Jolle will put their managerial prowess to work against Big Tex's Pillow Biters next week. Zombie Werewolves might need a big game to win that matchup, as Big Tex's Pillow Biters comes into the game fresh off a 106 point performance. Adding to the difficulty, Zombie Werewolves will have to play without Derrick Henry, who has a bye week.
Meanwhile, DenBro will be playing The Brainers next week. The matchup will feature the two top QB's in the league, as Josh Allen meets up with Tom Brady.

No Dice
Cordarrelle Patterson's 18 points are 3 points too few against SkinFan
Pinko Commie Bastards were projected to have the most points this week, but fell well short. They couldn't seal the deal against SkinFan, losing 52 to 49. The loss drops Pinko Commie Bastards' record to 5 - 7, while the win brings SkinFan to an identical 5 - 7.
SkinFan had three players lead the way, with Matthew Stafford, Dalton Schultz, and Stefon Diggs producing 40 points. That makes it three straight games of overperforming expectations for Diggsy. A good performance by Diggs has been crucial for SkinFan all year, as they have gone 3 - 2 when he exceeds expectations, and 1 - 4 when he doesn't.
SkinFan would have won by a more comfortable margin if Coach Tim Fabrizio had put Evan McPherson (13 points) in the lineup. McPherson has been making his case to start recently, having scored 34 points over the past two weeks.
Cordarrelle Patterson did his best to give Pinko Commie Bastards a chance to win. Patterson scored 18 points, which were the most that any wide receiver collected this week. Unfortunately, for Pinko Commie Bastards, he both began and ended the list of big performers on the squad.
Jalen Hurts was the main culprit in Pinko Commie Bastards' loss, scoring -1 points. Hurts fell farther short of his expected points than any other player this week.
Next week will see Pinko Commie Bastards taking on the 8 - 4 Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum. Meanwhile, SkinFan will take on Black Micahs.

Tom Brady has 25 points in blowout win over DenBro
The Brainers beat DenBro both times they played last year and kept that trend going this week. The Brainers stomped all over DenBro 70 to 48.
Another defeat makes it five in a row for DenBro, dropping their record to 2 - 11. The win brings The Brainers to 8 - 5.
This game featured a matchup of league-leading quarterbacks Tom Brady and Josh Allen, but only one of them lived up to expectations. For TB12's part, he totaled 25 points for The Brainers. His performance this week ended a three game streak of failing to hit his projections.
On the other hand, Allen was not living up to his star status, tallying only 6 points. Allen's momentum from last week's 23 point performance apparently didn't carry over.
The other players on The Brainers kept up with Brady, coming up with 45 points. That group was led by Greg Zuerlein, who scored 11 points. A good performance by Zuerlein has been critical for The Brainers this season, as they have gone 5 - 2 when he exceeds his expectations, and 1 - 3 when he doesn't.
The Brainers' next game will be against Big Tex's Pillow Biters in a rematch from week twelve. The Brainers was run off the field in the previous matchup, losing by 63 points. Coach Chuck Rittenhouse will no doubt be worried that Leonard Fournette will drop another 30 points for Big Tex's Pillow Biters like he did last time.
As for DenBro, they will match up with Black Micahs next week. That team is not coming in very hot, after finishing this week with only 19 points. The game might wind up as a crawl to the finish, as it features the two lowest scoring teams in the league.

They Shall Not Pass
Rob Gronkowski and Zombie Werewolves deny William Hayes a 4th straight win
Zombie Werewolves have owned Big Tex's Pillow Biters in the past to the tune of a 9 and 3 record, and went ahead and added to that ledger of dominance this week. They made it look easy against Big Tex's Pillow Biters, winning 80 to 47. With the win, Zombie Werewolves put an end to Big Tex's Pillow Biters' three-game win streak.
The win gets Zombie Werewolves back above .500 at 7 - 6. The loss drops Big Tex's Pillow Biters' record to 9 - 4.
Rob Gronkowski and Justin Herbert were the prime movers for Zombie Werewolves, recording 14 and 21 points, respectively. Gronk's 14 point performance this week moves him up to being the best tight end in the league this season. He secured this perfectly thrown touchdown pass from Tom Brady, giving them the second most TD connections in NFL history.
Although Coach Patrick jolle got the win, they cannot have been happy with the Ravens Defense/ST's performance this week. The Ravens failed to show up, scoring 3 points.
Meanwhile, two players stood out for their poor performance on Big Tex's Pillow Biters, with Adam Thielen and Ezekiel Elliott combining to score only 2 points. Thielen fell farther short of his expected points than any other player this week. He was knocked out of the Detroit game early with a high ankle sprain that will likely cause him to miss time going forward as well.
Thielen and Elliott were part of a group of four underperformers, with Tyler Bass (only 4 points) being the worst of the rest. Bass has now failed to top the league average kicker in three straight games. Big Tex's Pillow Biters only had one player who gave a passable performance this week, with the Cardinals Defense/ST scoring 11 points.1
Big Tex's Pillow Biters will get a chance to avenge the largest loss that any team has suffered this season (63 points) when they rematch against The Brainers next week. As for Zombie Werewolves, they will square off against Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum.

Wish Granted
SkinFan and Matthew Stafford get a gift win from Black Micahs
SkinFan had an atrocious 25% winning percentage all-time against Black Micahs, but that didn't matter one bit this week. They demolished Black Micahs, winning 47 to 19. SkinFan have now pulled off two lucky wins in a row, as they would have lost to nine other teams this week.
The victory makes it three in a row for SkinFan, giving them a record of 6 - 7. The loss drops Black Micahs back below .500 at 6 - 7.
SkinFan have been relying on Matthew Stafford all year, and he came through again this week. Stafford was the key contributor for SkinFan, putting up 20 points. No surprise there, as he is currently the 2nd best quarterback in the league.
Despite winning, SkinFan struggled to score points due to six underperforming players, of whom Saquon Barkley (2 points) was the worst.1 Bad performances are pretty common these days for Barkley, who has now underperformed the experts' predictions in four straight games.
Black Micahs, meanwhile, were having a terrible time moving the ball down the field, with the whole team gaining only 128 yards. That's the worst result that any team this season has had in the total yards category. Darrell Henderson was clearly the weakest link for Coach Micah Russell and the gang as he posted 0 total yards.
Both coaches in this game struggled with lineup decisions. Coach Tim Fabrizio have made some poor lineup calls this week, but that's nothing new for one of the league's bottom-ranked coaches. They left T.J. Hockenson, the Chiefs Defense/ST, and Greg Joseph on the bench, starting three different players who were each expected to score less.
Somehow, each of these decisions ended up being the wrong call. They shaved 17 points from SkinFan's score, which--thankfully for Coach Fabrizio--didn't matter much this game. Coach Fabrizio have had their hands full trying to manage Evan McPherson, as he has averaged 11.3 points on the bench and 5.3 points in the starting lineup.
Coach Russell appears to have been too busy to set their lineup this week. They started two players that both had byes, and also started three players who had better options sitting on the bench.
That cost their team 23 points, which cost their team the game. They have been outsmarted by the experts more than any other coach in the league this season, having cost their team 110 points.
The strength of schedule diverges for these squads next week. SkinFan's next game will be against Alcoholnics in a rematch from week eleven. SkinFan won the previous matchup in a blowout. However, Alcoholnics was without Matt Gay during that game.
Ratings might be a little low when Black Micahs takes on DenBro next week, as the matchup will feature the two teams in the league that have scored the fewest points. Black Micahs might be feeling extra confident about that game, as DenBro limps in on a five game losing streak.

Out of the Darkness
Alcoholnics avoids 4th loss in row with an assist from Diontae Johnson
Coming into the game, Alcoholnics had scored fewer points than anyone else in the last three weeks. They didn't dwell on the past this game though, as they put up big numbers. Coach Nick Claeboe's squad ended up on top against Homesick Abortions, winning 68 to 57. The win brought Alcoholnics' three game losing streak to an end.
The loss was Homesick Abortions' 3rd in their last four games, bringing their record to 5 - 8. The win brings Alcoholnics to 8 - 5.
Alcoholnics benefited from big performances from late draft picks this week. Diontae Johnson scored 17 points, and the Colts Defense/ST was close behind with 16. Johnson's 17 point performance was the most that any wide receiver collected this week.
Coach Claeboe's squad overcame bad performances from three players: Lamar Jackson, Tyler Higbee, and Justin Tucker, who collectively came up with 19 points. Coach Claeboe has to be used to bad scores from Jackson, who has been the worst performer on Alcoholnics more times than any other player.
Meanwhile, it will be difficult for Coach Chris Crowder to fault any one player for the loss. Homesick Abortions had five underperformers, with Mark Ingram (1 point) being the worst.1 Ingram has now underperformed the league average running back in three straight games.
Homesick Abortions also had to deal with a poor effort from Carson Wentz (5.1 points below expected). Wentz just simply didn't need to do much during Indy's 31-0 dismantling of Houston.
Turning to the coaching front, Coach Crowder wound up with a perfect lineup this week, albeit by following the CBSSports projections to the letter. This is the first time all season that Coach Crowder has pulled that off (slow clap).
Next week will see Alcoholnics taking on the 6 - 7 SkinFan. The game will be a rematch from week eleven, but Alcoholnics will have Matt Gay available, who had his bye week during the first matchup.
Meanwhile, Homesick Abortions will collide with Pinko Commie Bastards next week. Coach Erran Yearty's team will come into the game with some momentum, having posted 97 points this week.

Kittle Me This
George Kittle drops 21 points in leading Pinko Commie Bastards to victory
It's not that hard to win when you have the league's top performer for the week, and George Kittle was that player.1 Pinko Commie Bastards pounded Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum into submission, winning 97 to 52 behind 21 points from Kittle. That topped all but one tight end this season. His biggest play came on this amazing tightrope-walking catch and run for 48 yards.
Jonathan Taylor helped out as well, exceeding his projected point total by 4.2 points. Taylor's 17 points were the most of any running back this week.
Meanwhile, this week's loss for Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum was a true group effort. They were brought down by six underperformers, the worst of whom was Dak Prescott (7 points).2 Dak has now been the worst starter on his team three times this season. His performances have been a good barometer for Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum this season, as they have gone 1 - 3 when he fails to meet his expectations, and 7 - 0 when he meets them.
The win brings Pinko Commie Bastards to 6 - 7, and sends them to the top of our internal power rankings. The loss drops Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum's record to 8 - 5.
The schedule for Pinko Commie Bastards brings Homesick Abortions around next week. Pinko Commie Bastards won't have Jonathan Taylor available to start in that contest. Meanwhile, Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum will be playing Zombie Werewolves next week.

Watch Your Back!
James Conner and Zombie Werewolves beat the odds to get the win
The experts just can't seem to give Zombie Werewolves enough credit. They had topped their point total projections for three straight weeks before this game, and did it again this week. Zombie Werewolves made it past Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum, winning 67 to 62. Zombie Werewolves got some measure of revenge on Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum for their matchup back in week ten, when Zombie Werewolves lost 43 to 33.
Zombie Werewolves have now won three games in a row, which gives them a 8 - 6 record. Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum are now 8 - 6 after losing three out of their last four games.
Zombie Werewolves stumbled a bit coming out of the gate, putting in a sub-par effort early on Sunday. The Ravens Defense/ST and Daniel Carlson both did poorly, together coming up with only 5 points. The Ravens' 2 points made them the worst starter on their team for the 3rd time this season.
Meanwhile, Lo Pan's House of Dim Sum were putting up a solid effort. The Titans Defense/ST's 19 points were the key contribution. Those 19 points represent the most they've had this year.
Going into late Sunday, our projections gave Zombie Werewolves only a 14.8% chance of winning. Coach Patrick jolle's squad blew those projections out of the water. Three players for Zombie Werewolves beat their projections, with James Conner scoring 10 points more than expected. It was enough to give Zombie Werewolves an unlikely victory.
Although their team won, Coach Jolle didn't have the best game personally. They started three players that the experts thought should be riding the pine. One of those picks, Odell Beckham Jr., worked out. The other picks, Daniel Carlson and the Ravens Defense/ST, did not.
Overall, these moves cost Zombie Werewolves a total of 13 points. The bad decision is more of the same for Coach Jolle, whose gameday decisions have been some of the worst in the league this season.

Come on guys...
Josh Allen's 25 points are 7 points too few against Black Micahs
It wasn't anything to write home about, but Black Micahs got the victory against DenBro, winning 75 to 68. The win is more of the same for Black Micahs, who won the last game with DenBro by the score of 55 to 45.
The win gets Black Micahs back to .500 with a 7 - 7 record. The defeat is the 6th in a row for DenBro, which leaves them with a 2 - 12 record.
Black Micahs relied heavily on the Cowboys Defense/ST, who recorded 20 points. That's all in a day's work for the Cowboys, who are the 2nd best Defense/ST in the league.
Black Micahs also got a better-than-expected performance from Harrison Butker, who beat his projections by 5.4 points. Butker has now overperformed the experts' predictions in five straight games.
DenBro had never won when Tee Higgins failed to hit his expected points, and that held true again this week. Higgins was part of a three man group of troublemakers, teaming up with David Montgomery and Brandin Cooks to deliver 13 points.
As far as good performances for DenBro, Josh Allen stuck out with 25 points. Allen rushed for 12 of the Bills 19 rushing attempts (including this TD) as the do-everything quarterback also ended up with 308 passing yards.
Although one coach got the win, neither coach distinguished themselves with their roster choices. Coach Micah Russell cost their team points last week, and did it again this week. They went with DeAndre Hopkins and Kyle Pitts over the higher ranked Deebo Samuel and Austin Hooper.
These decisions cost Black Micahs a total of 10 points, which ultimately didn't make a difference in the final outcome. Going against the experts is the usual for Coach Russell, as they have taken more risks than any other coach in the league.
Coach Don Zimmerman seem to have forgotten to set their lineup this week. They left Jamaal Williams in the game, despite the fact that he was a guaranteed zero points. That cost their team 7 points, which ultimately didn't matter much this game.

Fortune's Friend
Homesick Abortions and Aaron Jones get a gift win from Pinko Commie Bastards
Homesick Abortions came into the game as the biggest favorite this week, and Pinko Commie Bastards' performance showed why. Homesick Abortions slid by Pinko Commie Bastards, winning 52 to 48. Homesick Abortions would have only beaten one other team this week, so Coach Chris Crowder got pretty lucky with the schedule.
The win brings Homesick Abortions' record to 6 - 8, while dropping Pinko Commie Bastards to a matching 6 - 8.
Cooper Kupp has been coming through for Homesick Abortions all year, and this week was no different. Kupp teamed up with Aaron Jones and Justin Jefferson to provide 67% of Homesick Abortions' points. That's all in a day's work for Kupp, who is the 4th best player in the league. He got to 5,000 receiving yards with this beautiful bucket catch for a chunk gain.
Given their low point total, it's not surprising that Homesick Abortions had several underperformers (five to be exact). Cam Newton was the worst of them, scoring 7 points.1
Meanwhile, Pinko Commie Bastards suffered through poor performances from Antonio Gibson, James Robinson, and the Steelers Defense/ST, who collectively managed only 3 points. The negative 1 point that Gibson scored was the fewest that he has scored this year. His performance was also the 2nd worst of any running back this season.
George Kittle and Matt Prater, scoring 29 points, did their best to make a game of it for Pinko Commie Bastards. Prater scored 16 points, which topped all kickers this week.

Draft Dividends
The Brainers gets boost from high draft picks like Tom Brady
Big Tex's Pillow Biters had the best record in the league coming into this game, but unfortunately for Coach William Hayes, the past was not prelude. Big Tex's Pillow Biters came up a little short versus The Brainers, losing 94 to 90. It was a brutally unlucky loss for Big Tex's Pillow Biters, who would have won EVERY other game being played this week.
The loss drops Big Tex's Pillow Biters' record to 9 - 5, while the win brings The Brainers to an identical 9 - 5.
Coach Chuck Rittenhouse used early draft picks on Tom Brady and Najee Harris, and they came through for him this week. TB12 scored 24 points, while Harris scored 16. Brady's 24 point performance is no surprise, as he is currently the best quarterback in the league. He threw this game-winning overtime touchdown to beat the Bills (and give him 700 total TDs including playoffs).
The Brainers also got the benefit of a 15 point performance from Ja'Marr Chase. Chase's performance this week stopped his three game streak of not meeting his projections.
Meanwhile, the Cardinals Defense/ST and Ezekiel Elliott put a big hurt on Big Tex's Pillow Biters' chances, dropping only 7 points between them. This is the first time this year that the Cardinals have been the worst starter on their team.
Big Tex's Pillow Biters wound up with their high point total courtesy of six overperformers. Aaron Rodgers scored 26 points to pace the group. No other quarterback scored more points than that this week.
Week 14 · Dec 14, 2021 02:42 pm ET
Top Chef
22 points from Dalvin Cook helps give SkinFan the win
SkinFan had the good fortune of having the league's best player this week in Dalvin Cook.1 The Chef led the way as SkinFan strolled past Alcoholnics, winning 63 to 46. His 22 point performance made him the top performer on SkinFan for the first time this year. He broke off multiple 20+ yard runs in carrying the Vikings to a critical win over the Steelers.
SkinFan got the win despite leaving the Chiefs Defense/ST and their 23 points on the bench. No other player riding the pine did better this week.
Lamar Jackson stuck out as the worst performer for Alcoholnics, producing zero points. Jackson has now been the worst performing starter in the league over the last three weeks. He was carted off the field with an ankle injury, but the Ravens expect him to be back next week.
Josh Jacobs falling 6.2 points short of his expectations didn't help matters much either. Jacobs' performances have closely tracked the fortunes of Alcoholnics this season, as they have gone 1 - 3 when he fails to meet his expectations, and 3 - 2 when he meets them.
The win evens up SkinFan's record at 7 - 7.
Week 16 · Dec 28, 2021 01:08 pm ET

Week 17 · Jan 04, 2022 04:23 pm ET
CBS Season Recap · Dec 18, 2021 01:40 pm ET
Top 3 Regular Season Games
1. The Brainers' 116 - 105 win over Zombie Werewolves in week 5 This game started a magical run for The Brainers, as it was just the beginning of a 7-game win streak. The streak started with all the fireworks of the highest scoring game of the season.
2. Big Tex's Pillow Biters' 61 - 60 close one with Homesick Abortions in week 5 There were 70 games played during the regular season, but none of them were closer than this one. Unfortunately, the outcome can be blamed in large part on Coach Chris Crowder, who bucked the experts and cost his team 6 crucial points with his lineup.
3. Big Tex's Pillow Biters' 106 - 43 blowout of The Brainers in week 12 Coming into the game, The Brainers looked like an unbeatable juggernaut, winning their last 7 games in a row, but that obviously didn't intimidate Big Tex's Pillow Biters. Big Tex's Pillow Biters stopped that streak dead in its tracks with the biggest blowout of the year.
