Team Story

SoFain built Shartnado to win from the first snap. The 2023 startup draft delivered Jonathan Taylor at 1.07, A.J. Brown at 2.14 and C.J. Stroud in the 12th round, then the waiver wire handed over Puka Nacua in Week 1 and Nico Collins and Kyren Williams in Week 2. A 10-5 South Side title was only the setup.

The peak was a repeat that ran through the same victim. In 2023 Shartnado buried thompr 167.8-75.9 in the semifinal and beat The Prodigies 173.3-147.4 for the ring; in 2024, fueled by rookie-draft hits Brian Thomas Jr. at 1.10 and Jayden Daniels at 2.11, it dropped 1-800-TRADER 172.9-127.5 and then The Prodigies again 174.1-105.1. Two titles, both closed out by 20-plus points.

The 2025 season was the best regular season anyone has posted here, 12-3 with a league-high 2,344.8 points, and it ended in a single afternoon. As the No. 1 seed Shartnado ran into South Side rival Big Tex's Pillow Biters in the semifinal and lost 115.7-154.1, the three-peat gone in a week. A 107.7-101.5 win over Egbuka Matata for third place was a consolation nobody wanted.

The Prodigies remain the measuring stick. They own Shartnado 2-1 in the regular season, yet lost to it in both the 2023 and 2024 finals, so the trophies all point one direction. Shartnado leads the all-time series 3-2, and both of its wins were for the title.

After the semifinal loss Shartnado churned the roster, selling Chris Godwin, Isiah Pacheco and Jared Goff for picks, then buying James Cook back from Big Tex for a 2026 second and a 2027 first. The core of Jonathan Taylor, A.J. Brown, Jayden Daniels, Brian Thomas Jr. and Puka Nacua is still the most talented in the league. Two titles in three years; the only real question is whether Big Tex broke something.
