NolesProdigy's team drew slot 1 in the 2023 startup and used it like a franchise should: Justin Jefferson at 1.01, Amon-Ra St. Brown at 2.20, Joe Burrow at 3.21. The Prodigies won the North Side (division 2) at 11-4 in 2023 and again at 10-5 in 2024, back-to-back banners, and posted a 27-18 regular-season record over three years, the strongest resume in this group.

Both banner seasons ended the same way. In the 2023 final The Prodigies lost to Shartnado 147.4 to 173.3. In the 2024 final Shartnado buried them 105.1 to 174.1. Two title games, two losses to the same team, no trophy. The talent kept coming: Brock Bowers at 1.09 in the 2024 rookie draft was a heist, and buying Bucky Irving for DK Metcalf and Kyle Pitts in January 2025 was shrewd. The ring never followed.

Then 2025 cracked the foundation. The Prodigies slipped to 6-9, backed into the 6-seed on the last playoff line, and lost the first round to Egbuka Matata 104.3 to 125.6 before beating Keep Pounding 103.7 to 88.0 for fifth. Chasing one more run, they shipped their 2026 second and third-round picks to, of all teams, Shartnado, in midseason deals for Isiah Pacheco and J.K. Dobbins.

Going into 2026 the window is closing: an aging win-now core around Brock Bowers and Bucky Irving, thinned draft capital, and a division that now runs through 2nd Hand Smoke. The Prodigies still bully most of the league, owning Keep Pounding 5-0 and Puerto Rican 5-1 in the regular season. The one team they have never solved when it mattered is the one holding both of their title-game scalps.
