Team Story

thompr drafted a championship spine in the 2023 startup: Josh Allen at 1.08, Jahmyr Gibbs at 2.13, Derrick Henry at 3.28. The manager, thompr, later added Malik Nabers at 1.04 in 2024 and Quinshon Judkins at 1.05 in 2025. The talent was always on the roster; the finishes stopped matching it almost immediately.

The high point came fast. In 2023 thompr slipped into the playoffs as the North Side's third seed at 7-8, upset Drunken Hogs 149.4 to 134.5, got run off the field by Shartnado 75.9 to 167.8, then beat Keep Pounding 100.3 to 95.3 in the third-place game. Third overall in year one, the best finish this franchise would ever post.

Then came the slide. thompr went 8-7 and fifth in 2024, then 5-10 in 2025, losing both consolation games, to Puerto Rican 101.3 to 120.4 and to Alcoholniks 115.4 to 120.5, to finish dead last. One of the few trades on record stung: in January 2025 thompr sold Drake Maye to Big Tex for Xavier Legette, dealing a rising young quarterback for a receiver who never delivered.

The story ends with an empty chair. After the last-place 2025, thompr is gone from the 2026 league entirely, replaced at roster 10 by the Coweta Crackas. The one legacy that survives is a division edge over The Prodigies, whom thompr beat four times in six tries, the rare opponent this franchise owned even on the way out the door.
